Natural Yoghurt... why didn't anyone tell me it's awesomeness!

I am no longer buying fruit yoghurts ever again!

A lovely turkish woman I know has introduced me to awesome turkish yoghurt that is extremely affordable! I've been using it in lots of cooking, and we've been having garlic sauce etc as well.

Today I had an epiphany... fruit yoghurt... I know you can add honey and cinnamon for a yummy flavour but I had never thought to add full fruit jam for a quick fruit yoghurt fix... before now. So I whipped out my whole fruit no sugar added jam and add a bit to some natural yoghurt... OMG it is better than Jalna! Sooooo creamy and sooo good.

It works out to be the 1/4 of the price of store bought yoghurt, and it lasts for a month and its sooo much creamier.

I'm so excited *does happy dance*.

A big thank you to TD who has been bestowing her foodie wisdom on me. *smoooch* You have made this foodie a big ball of happy

YES!!! I love it too. I use natural yoghurt all the time - we always have some in the fridge. DD goes through it like a rocket, DH takes to work with fruit (instead of buying the pre-made fruit yoghurts) and I use it in cooking heaps (in place of sour cream). I have an unfounded belief that it may be healthier than sour cream, but I'm not sure why I would think this!!

mmm we ALWAYS have a tub of natural yogurt in the fridge. DF loves it especially. Makes a great garlic sauce, and yeah, add a bit of jam or honey to it and NOM!
