How do you cook a chook in there? Do you put anything with it?

I have only done it a couple of times, and last one was quite a while ago. Last one i did I just put in the SC with enough water to barely cover the bottom of the SC. By the time it was ready to eat, it had juices almost half way up the side of the chicken. I sprinkled a packet of french onion soup mix over the top of the chicken before putting it in as well..

I did read of some girls on here putting a saucer upside down in the SC and placing the chook on top of it. But I think i might just put the chook in without anything and let it go. The chicken I picked up has some seasoning on it already, so hopefully it tastes nice!

Yum Smithy! Makes me wish I had all those in my house right now to cook!

Tonight is Pork Mignons with Garlic butter, and i think some steamed vegies with brown rice. Found a sauce which I might try out, which is soy sauce, peanut butter, hoi sin suace, ginger and garlic all mixed together and poured over vegies (or toss vegies in sauce) served on top of the rice...... hope it tastes alright.

    Was going to be:
    Pepper Steak
    Corn on the Cob
    Beans
    Honey Carrots
    DP's Potato
, bar boiled then cooked with bacon, onion, herbs and garlic and then topped with cheese.

DP's not sure if he's going to home for eta though so thinking SUBWAY
I probably COULD make something out of the cupboard but over sandwiches and really should eat some greens.... lol

    Mmmm so hungry now.
