I tend to not wet my hair between washes...
It would be okay to do - but not with hot water (which will stimulate oil)... If you did use hot water... give your hair a quick blast with cold water before you get out.

It's fine to spray it with water... and leave in conditioner between washes - particularly if you're looking like an afro
