Bettyboop - When I thought I was pregnant a few months ago, my BT came back as 2 as well, even though I got a BFP on my HPT. It was very disappointing, and I definitely don't trust HPT's now. Hope you are feeling a bit better

hj - I have this weekend off, however my 6yo niece arrived on Friday night to spend the weekend with me, so I didn't get to sleep in

And she forgot to bring her swimmers, so now we are going shopping to get some, before we go to the beach. I'm exhausted already and we haven't even left the house

Magda - The charting course is full of lots of useful information and yes they do recommend that you temp the same time each day, which I found really hard, so I stopped temping and just charted everything else. Good luck with it.

Even though we aren't officially TTC this month, and aren't using any AC, it's still in the back of my mind that maybe we'll get a miracle. How many stories have ppl told me about falling when you least expect it, or as soon as you stop trying, etc - so why can't that be me this month? Wishful thinking

I am not happy temp has droped , i thought AF would have been here by now , my DH is not coming near me because i am so crumpy, has been 9 weeks since my D&C were is AF , hope this does not mean i have ashermans back and the uhteris is closed up, might never be able to have another baby, sorry for going on i am so grumpy. sorry

well i don't think it has actually truely sunk in yet about being pregnant i am really happy but also very scared at the same time i would be around 4wks and 5days i am gonna head to the doctor's next week have blood's done and book for a u/s anyway better go

Just a real quick post to say thanks for your individual posts Annabelle, Magda, Anthonysmom, Baby Hopes & Hj. I value your encouragement and reassurance immensely. I am away for a few days with DH in VIC visiting some friends, so will catch up with you all when I get back towards the end of the week. No further news from my end...I completely forgot to ring up to get BT results yesterday (as we can only ring GP practice at a certain time to get results), so results are now over a week old. Oh well. If everything works out to be ok with this little one, and I continue to have no symptoms, the first trimester looks like it's going to be a breeze (apart from the insane worry!)...LOL. I look forward to catching up with everyone towards the end of the week (sorry for lack of personals in this post.

AF ARRIVED YESTERDAY

It is realy weird my cycles are getting shorter and shorter over the past cycles this one was only 25 days the one before was 26....maybe things are going back to normal as my cycles b4 mc were anything from 25 to 27 days.
STILL DISAPPOINTED

I haden't had AF since early July. I forgot how lousy she makes me feel. Its funny I was so excited to get her. Even DH had a huge grin and hugged me when I told him she was here. Now I am pi$$ed again because the reality that AF being here means I am not pregnant has sunk in again. I can not wait to TTC but we will take this month off to be safe. Lets go february!!

Oh you poor thing - we have had this conversation last time I had AF!!
Is there anything your dr can do for you?? Can you see another dr for
an opinion or do you just have to tough it out??
Maybe 2008 will bring AF around to you - I am nearly finished with her in a couple of days!! Hugs right back at ya xo

Hi Anthonysmum - yes AF does bring out some unusual emotions - and for you it must be a huge event right now in your life - bring on 2008 and may all your dreams come true

Happy New Year everyone. I hope 2008 brings us all happiness, peace and a newborn baby.

We had a quiet night. I cooked a 3 course meal and we watched the fireworks from our balcony. I was a bit emotional last night. My ob called in the afternoon to say the chromosomal results had come back and no abnormality was found. They were not able to do an anatomical test, so that is it. I wonder if finding out there was an abnormality would make this easier. The scary thing is knowing my sister lost 2 babies one aged 14 and one 16 - and my Nathaniel was 15. I just hope this doesn't mean anything. I told my Ob this fact, and he said that the fact that my sister has 4 living children is a good sign - and not to worry about it.

Last night I was emotional, because I felt like we don't really belong in the 'want the go to a bar crowd' nor do we belong in the 'people with children' crowd. I feel like we are in between - we feel like parents but aren't.

Anyway feeling a bit better today. Besides all that it was actually a nice night.

hey everyone!

Have been in here today as soon i hope to be joining you all.
I am nervous /scared / excited to think about trying after our loss of jack at 17 weeks but also hope that this year we may have something to look forward too also. Will probably start to try in the next month (jan/feb) or so as i am sure that i have got my first AF after everything. I almost felt guilty for wanting to start trying so soon after losing him but this forum has helped me in that, all your posts to each other have helped me without you realising. Has put my mind at ease...
This new years was a very quiet one, christmas was hard enough and new years meant not too much for me this year at all!Hope you all will have a wonderful new year with plently for all to celebrate throughout it!
good luck to you...will be back soonish with some ttc stories of my own! meanwhile excuse me lurking...

katie - I have a good friend at work that is a counselor. She reminds me all the time that I am a mother, and not to forget it. You and steve are parents to Nathaniel and always will be. Also I too haven't gotten any definitive test results back either. I go for more blood work to see if I have any problems (clotting, low hormones, lupus, etc)on Friday. are you getting blood work done. I was so sad and frustrated when all of Anthony's tests came back with no answers, but a very lovely woman from BB told me that having an answer to why doesn't really make it easier. happy new year.

Jo - I am also excited to start trying in the next few months. AF just left me. Don't feel guilty. I know how you feel. I want to be pregnant again. My DH and I are hoping we are prego by Anthony's due date (april 6) i pray that we both have a quick TTc and a H&H pregnancy.

I am in the US and still have about 2 hours or so til New years. I am in my pajamas and have opened a bttle of wine that I will drink all by myself. Happy new year to you all

Thanks Anthonysmum. So far no blood work has been done on me. I asked my Ob yesterday about this, but from his response I don't think he thought it was worth it. I am booked in to see a new Ob in Feb who specialises in high risk pregnancy - and his receptionist told me that any tests not done prior he will do. So I am not going to push it with my current Ob. It annoys me that all Drs do not offer tests - and we have to find it out for ourselves and ask - it is not like we are the experts!

In my heart I knew the tests would not find anything - probably because my sister had the same results.
