Jen~You crack me up! Glad you figured out the smilies!

AFM~Today was supposed to be my 10 week appointment and I would have gotten to hear a heartbeat...Instead, just an annual exam-I was sad...On a brighter note, my new doctor is really great and I feel totally comfortable with her! She said that my right ovary is full so that is the one that will ovulate around day 16 or 17. She also said that she will be changing me from days 5-9 for the Clomid to days 3-7 so I will O sooner and have shorter cycles! She said she is willing to try up to 6 cycles and if I am not PG then she will send me to a fertility specialist so let's just hope it works soon! Tonight I get to have free steak at a dinner for DH's work-wahoo...that will help cheer me up! Just seeing this board cheered me too-I am so glad to have all of you today and always on this journey!

    THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!

    Morning all,

Well AF is not here yet so I did a test and negative again. Hope she turns up soon so I can move on with the next cycle. I'm having quite sharp pains too, been the most bizarre cycle ever. I started a diet yesterday, I weighed myself for the first time in ages and I only have to lose about 3.5kgs so I'm happy about that (I actually thought it was going to be 5kgs). Think I will sit out the next cycle, which will give me a month (and an extra two weeks til O really) to lose the weight and try to get really, really healthy and get rid of the hormone imbalance. If I dont get any PMS next month then I'll know my hormones are back in check and I'll have the green light to start TTC again. Soon as AF arrives I will do a weight loss ticker, that's my focus for this month. Thank you all so much for your support, you have saved my life over the past few days.

Smilanatu - How are you, did Af show? Heaps of people dont get a BFP until after AF, got my fingers crossed.

Canary, pbstar and issy - Good luck catching the eggy this month.

Jen - Got my fingers crossed, hope AF stays away on Thurs.

Trac - Your symptoms are sounding really positive, that's probably why your dr is not worried at all. Just try to stay positive, I'm sure the US will show you a gorgeous healthy bubs.

Laura - Wow you might be further along than you thought. Whatever it is that is causing it to be so high, its a pretty good sign. Bubs is definately firmly implanted in there.

mmteacher - , so sorry that all you got is your annual exam instead of a heartbeat. Sounds like you have a really good and thoughtful dr though. Good luck catching the eggy this month.

Big hello to AJC, bettyboop, Emmy-Lou, Jenushka, Katiegirl and everyone else.

Jodsan--Thanks, mine are crossed as well! Feeling a little bloated and gassy (sorry, tmi), but on a positive note, last time those were 2 of my symptoms--although not quite this early I don't think.

mmteacher--It's about time I figured those things out! Hey did you see those 4 weird lights up in the sky last night? Saw it on the news tonight, they said it flew over Phoenix, but I don't know how close you are--just thought I'd ask 'cuz as soon as they said Arizona, I thought of you! Sorry about your appt. . You'll be hearing a healthy very soon!

jodsan - u r sounding very positive and it's great that u don't have to lose so much!! I'd be rapt just to lose 3.5 kgs at this point but i could do with a bit more shaved off Take care of ur heart as well as ur bod.

Thanks Plc - Oh dont worry, I'm sure I could do with a bit more than 3.5kgs too but I'm just hoping for a healthy TTC weight (and for my jeans to not be so tight), I'll worry about the supermodel weight once I've had my bubs Hey our sons are very similar in age, Aiden was born 31 May 06. Such a great age I reckon, he just makes up whole sentences and says it like he really believes it, its so cute!

I've changed my ticker so now I'm officially on my TTC diet. So I think that's all I need to do to boost my chances, has anyone got any ideas on how I go about getting DH to give up smoking (I'm sure it's affecting his swimmers)? I've never smoked so I just dont get it, I think I'm a bit *****y and intolerant about it.

Ok, noone else has posted so I'm just going to edit m last post. Well, everyone, no AF yet??? It is usually there when I wake up in the morning, I have been waiting all day. I just went for my run and I thought for sure it would come then, but no, just CM (sorry TMI). Doesn't feel like it's coming either. I guess if it was a chemical pg then AF could be late but why would it be late now if there is no hcg in my system anymore? Arggh

Smilinatu - with last preg I had a BFN the day before AF was due (not even the faintest of faint lines was visible). 2 days after AF due the test turned BFP before my eyes - I didn't have to wait the 3 minutes. So there is still hope my friend... :goodluck2:

Jen - I know what you mean! I said at the start of this month that we would BD every day, but *ahem* we are yet to start bd'ing this cycle... Temping didn't work for me because I just couldn't take it at THE exact same time each morning. I continue to have fingers crossed for you

mmteacher - great news about right ovary! Seems like this new doctor is onto it and is determined to get you pg...

Ladies, with o day looming for me in the next week or so, would love to hear your tips (G rated of course) on keeping the men in your life as focussed on bd as you! I'm hoping it will be possible this time to avoid it getting to the "its a chore" stage ... I accidentally referred to it as bd'ing the other night when talking to dh about ttc bub 2, and he just said "um .... I don't really think I want us to call it that". Poor boy! Issy great for you though that it is never a chore for your dh!!

    Take care everyone ...

Girls I am hearing you re: lack of romance when you 'have to' bd!!! It is soooo frustrating. I find lots of candles (house filled with those little tea light ones) and chocolate coated strawberries are usually a winner. Ooh and a visit to the shower is always a good start, he he he. Are we meant to talk about stuff like in this or do the moderators not like that, if that is the case then sorry

Jodsan - you sound much brighter today. I'm a firm believer that diet and exercise strongly control your hormones so I think you are heading in a good direction....for a BFP!

we need more BFP's in here ladies......

Exclamation a long hello to all & a silly question about early pg signs (may be gross)

Hi everyone (Can I please join this forum? pretty please!) Thanks in advance!

I lost my angel on 19.04.08 & have been googling since for info on miscarriages & have come across many forums like these from other sites. But today I have finally decided to join BB as I have enjoyed reading from here the most & have found happiness & hope here. I print these out (am i allowed?!?! I aplogise if i've done wrong!) & read them every day. They inspire me.

Hubby & I conceived 2 weeks after our wedding (02 feb 08) & thought it a wonderful wedding pressie to each other. So naive & clueless as to how easy it is lose it - it is my first preg.

We've buried her (don't know for sure, but I reckon she was a she & since a lot of people's been telling me it's a girl) in the garden with a magnolia tree planted - my fav flower.

It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow, and the brown stuff are nearly all gone so we will be ttc straight away! I have been eagerly waiting for this moment...

Hey a quick question to all that may be off-putting & off-topic: so a warning that it's about going to the toilet doing #2s & relation to conception: so if you're not interested then stop reading here...

ok... has anyone noticed the difference in the smell (sorry TMI ) when pregnant compared to not pregnant? I've noticed when I was preggers, even very early on, it smells like I've eaten papaya or pawpaw (but havent) & now that I'm not it's the usual stinky. hahaha sorry if TMI but it's nature so it's normal hey?

So maybe to those thinking they may be preggers - take a big whifful! LOL

Dunno if it's just me or not, but I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me there experiences?

What a way to introduce myself. I'm a bit ashamed & embarrassed but I'm curious to know!

Vanaithi-- and, of course,we'd love to have you join us here-- although we'd all prefer to not have to be here at all! I'm so very sorry for your loss, and I truly feel you've come to the right place for support! I was just like you, just waiting for that first cycle to end so you can start TTC right away! Um... my poop smells like roses, thank you very much! j/k--really wish my poop smelled that sweet! I have this mental image of everyone taking big whiffs of their poop--papaya? Um, no... but check out all that corn.... I'm so sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me this morning! See, no worries, you fit right in here! All kidding aside, aside from why you're here, I'm glad you're here! Hope your stay is short and sweet on your TTC journey.

Do have a little sad news about the ducklings this morning.... Only 1 left! All the others passed away during the night. The last one I was able to hand feed this morning, several times now, and she also drinks water from me. She's (don't know this for sure, I'm just calling it a she) wrapped in a towel asleep on my lap right at this moment. I feel so bad, I think it's just because they were so young, and we had to move them because the spot they were located at was in the area where the electric company was working all day yesterday. There were huge trucks right there where they were, and not only that, there's a black cat named Panther that lives right next door and patrols the yard daily. I'm so glad there's still 1 alive, and that it's eating and drinking!

jenushka--So sorry to hear about your news... I truly hope it will help you find closure. DH's analogy really was perfect. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hope all your questions are answered at you appt. next week.

bettyboop--Sorry to hear you've been stressed, hun. Really was good to hear from you, though! My fingers are crossed for you!

smilanatu--I missed you yesterday!!! Hope you did something fun while playing hooky yesterday! Unfortunately anytime you play hooky from anything there's always tons of work to make up--you should see my living room floor since I played hooky from vacuuming yesterday! Have a great day!

plc--Hey baby mama! Calm, relaxed, and positive.....(oh, and sticky too, of course!).... these vibes are coming via cyber space..... Can you feel them?

mollycat--Hey cycle buddy, sorry again about AF, she's actually going very easy on me so far, knock on wood... Hope she's going just as easy on you!

AJC--Hope all those caught that egg!

Issy--How's those nips today? lol.... I'm praying hard for you, hun!

Hugs for everyone--sorry for those not mentioned, but you're always in my thoughts! Good luck, positive sticky vibes, and baby dust to all!
