I second that Dory, look after yourself Sunbeam! (Loving the avvy by the way)

I have a question, I'm on DPO 11, still having symptoms, the same one's I had when I got my first BFP, so SURELY if I was preg it would show up on a test (tested yesterday and got BFN), considering symptoms are strong? There's gotta be a direct relationship between HCG and symptom strength right? Vaguely planning on testing again on Thursday...

I enjoy the first two weeks of the TTC month soooo much more than the last two.

Kit - this TCC can be so illogical. I tested like crazy and got BFN's up until 14DPO, even though O was earlier than day 14. It was only after 14DPO that a got a faint BFP. Keep your head up and if you can wait at least a day or two before testing again. Glad you have some symptoms and I have my FINGERS and legs crossed for you! Now I can't wait til you post again....... oh I am really just so excited, I can't contain myself.

hi girls. sorry it's been a while since i checked in.

i went back to the doc asking if i needed the anti d injection and he said yes but that i needed to go to the hospital to get it. so off to the hospital i went and they had to check me over first and an ultrasound found i have bleeding in my stomach which wasn't supposed to be there! they said it's just from a cyst that erupted cause of pregnancy and that i'll be ok. but was a bit scary!

i have stopping bleeding completely now but still feeling tender in the tummy a bit. question - my partner and i are going to start trying again straight away. i dont know if AF will arrive soon or whether the bleeding from the m/c is classified as AF. do i take my LMP from the first day of my m/c bleeding on the off chance i do conceive this month? sorry for the silly questions, i'm new to all this and have never taken notice of when i O so not sure what to expect this month.

    thanks!

TFN3- Sorry to hear you had a scary time with bleeding. After my natural m/c it was 5 weeks till my AF returned. I don't think you can go from when you bleed but from when your Hcg returns to zero depending on how far along you were. You will likely O before your next AF and it is possible to conceive then but it is tricky to time it after a m/c using O predictor tests can help though you might go through a few.

KitFaerie- I had very strong symptoms last time and my hcg was really quite low (only 19 to start with) hope you're headed for a BFP in a few days.

thanks for that sunbeam. my hcg levels had dropped to 20 on friday so should be pretty much at 0 now. guess i'll just see how the month goes. we BP most days so wont worry about O kit yet, just see if nature takes it course. when we were trying in january i spend so much time worrying about if I was Oing, this time I think i'll try not to worry bout that and take each day as it comes. thanks for your advice!

Kitfaerie-i wish i could help but to be honest my symptoms leading up to my AF confuse me sometimes i think i am pregnant with cramping and pulling sensations in my lower area and reallllllllly sore boobs and being very tired but AF turns up and then when i am pregnant i have had no symptom nadda nothing and even swear im not so my body is a mystery to me i wish i got M/S then i would know for sure but i will say don't read to much into the BFN just yet with my 5 pregnancies before abbi i got a BFP at 10DPO and with abbi BFN's up until the day AF was due so you still have a few days i will have my fingers crossed for you.

Trying4number3-i think it is usual to class m/c bleeding as LMP as it is possible to ov 2 weeks after a m/c as many women fall pregnant straight away and don't get AF so the doc's will take LMP from your M/C date.

Sunbeam-take it easy on yourself at work.

Crafty-how are you today i hope you are feeling better.

Murrycod-i rang the westmead fertility clinic today to get there info pack and prices just in case we don't fall pregnant by May they are a public ivf clinic and the cost is half that of SIVF they don't do PGD IVF but we have decided to speed up the process of getting pregnant and will see them if i am not pregnant soon i dont want to do ivf again but with our genetic testing dramas i am starting to hear that stupid clock tick again.

AFM-still have a slight headache and feeling funny inside down low and feeling really tired maybe because i have been working late nights.
Here is i paragraph i found on a pregnancy site
Our data on September 4, 2008 shows that headaches are most common on 9 days past ovulation with 15.5% of pregnant women experiencing this symptom. Our data also shows that headaches is one of the top ten most common early signs of pregnancy

Well then, bring on the headaches hey!!!! Ouch!!! That should do it!!!!

Ferrals, stats are sounding good to me now!!!!!
Your plans on looking at Westmead seem to be very interesting, let me know how it all reads; I am hoping you get your little miracle before then, also undersanding you want to push things on a little. Would your chances having genetic problems be the same as a natural conception...I guess they would be hey, but TBH, as much as the worry can be such a huge factor in things, getting to that stage to even have a chance to worry is the goal.
I fully understand and support where you are heading by May, totally.
Will be right next to you for the ride no matter what you need to do to get there, so have faith, have strength, and go for it XXXXX
Getting to hatching blasty like you had to last time is such a HUGE gamble in itself, I know, out of soooo many eggs you retreive, then have fertilise, they still have to grow then hatch!
As far as I went, having 9 eggs, 6 fertilise and only 2 get to grade two Blasty for us, not even hatching blasts, was completely out of anyones controll and the most frustrating part.
I remember like it was yesterday, reading your journey in the PGD IVF forum how much you had invested not only dollar wise but emotionally was heartbreaking for me to read.(sorry I stalked you!!!)
So I say, if you have a chance to try anything, just go for it.

We all lose or gain nothing, if we never try.

Sunbeam, when I wen't back to work after finding out my 1st IVF was unsuccessfull, was just as heartbreaking for me, as when I had to return to work after MC.
My poor DH had to drag my ass out of the house to get me there, so good on you for having the strength within yourself to do it XXXXX
Is hard as it does seem at the time, (and it is) the earlier you get back is easier.
Take care of yourself, enjoy the yoge and health kick, hope it makes you feel better within yourself honey XX Have been thinking of you XXXX
You soooo asked for porn boobs didn't you!!!! Lookin good!

KitF, beleive me when I say, if there is anything to 'Google' on symptoms, lack there of, BFN at 10, 11,12,13,14po, getting bfp after getting bfn, I have exhausted it, and only come up with one thing, it is all a total load of cobbswobble, your body is totally different and not normal to everyone elses out there, and we are freaks of nature!!!!
in other words, we never really know for sure what is going on in there untill the fat lady sings, or doesnt.
    Sorry not much help!!

Dory, thanks for the PM, I will be thinking of you tomorrow Darling XXX Huggs to you XXX

Crafty, hope you are ok XX

AFM, not even going to comment on my work day, have decided to no longer give it any more thaught as of......................now!

So anyway, just wondering if anyone had the AF Fairies phone number, thaught I might give her a ring and tell her to hurry up, give her directions and all that sort of stuff, you know, to like, get a quick passing visit....

    Have a good night all!XX

Murrycod-yes doing normal ivf will give us the same chance as normal conception a 1 in 4 of the baby being effected but to be honest at the moment i just want to get pregnant that part will be a relief to know i am still fertile and i know i have been told by my FS that i am and she expects me to be pregnant soon blah blah blah but when the clock is ticking i need to hurry the process to get this freaking genetic test done and then relax so ivf will help that but SIVF is around $8000 per cycle so i looked into the public system and westmead ivf are about $3000-$4000 with no theartre fees but there is a waiting list so i thought i would look into it but i did really like SIVF they were great i just can not justify that amount of money when the same treatment is a lot cheaper elsewhere i am hopeing that i get my miracle before then.
And i know the process is a huge gamble we had 8 eggs as you know we ended up with 3 blasts one was a grade 2 tested and effected the other 2 were a grade 3 fine for ivf but not for the PGD testing so technicaly i got 3 out of 8 which is a good result for a 35 year old and our fertilisation result of 100% is great so i do have a little hope that i wont need ivf as my eggs are still hanging in there it is frustrating isnt it.
and stalk away i have done my fair share of stalking and will be again when harvey 2 makes his appearence soon.

Morning to all you BB ladies i would say by it being so quiet in here there is a lot of waiting going on.

AFM- so now i'm doing the whole I'M NOT PREGNANT WE ARE DUD'S THING i just know i am not pregnant this month.
I have my naturopath appt with catherine chan on monday so looking forward to that hope she looks into my eyes and say's you are pregnant and dont need to be here that would be soooooo nice.

    Morning all

Ferrals fingers still crossed for you but as you know we have to protect ourselves from getting too upset when we see a BFN so we play it in our mind the week before to get used to the idea ( Doesn't mean you will get a BFN you are still 50/50 either way ) so bring on the BFP I say and try to relax !

Murraycod there is chance of a miracle as you know so keep beleiveing and hope you get some news either way soon !

sunbeam glad your taking the positive approach it will win in the end if you beleive in yourself then you will get you BFP to stick real soon ! take it easy and enjoy your time off for a few weeks, Hope AF isn't too long away !

AFM Well were do I start, well emotionally I am a wreck but hey I am a 44yr old trying to get pregnant and that in itself is not the norm, anyways still can't think too much about my son as it doesn't feel real to me atm but as they are in the UK I guess its not really going to sink in at all with not seeing them every week but I am happy for them don't get me wrong I hope they never have to go through what I have and feel like I do, as you all know its not easy being in this thread !
Anyways Drs apt was yesterday evening and well the sccan was good no abnormalities good shape uterus and 8mm lining no cycts on the ovaries and a 11mm folicle in the right ovary ! last week thursday ( day 16 for me ). The bloods all the stuff came back as normal ie thyroid and iron and so on BUT THE HORMONES ! well they were not so good, they said perimenapause ! my estrogen was 147 on day 14 and should have been higher a lot higher and my LH was 17 which he said is ok but to be honest he is a GP and not a FS so he was just reading what the lab had told him, anyways he gently said I am starting the menapause and could take a few years still as not full menapause until you go a full year of no AF, so he said basically very little chance of falling pg but if I got a good ovulation and a good egg then it was still possible but unlikely WTF its either no chance or a small chance right ! so I have a number for a FS but to be honest if I need drugs and so on to get me to ovulate then there is no gaurantee the egg will be anygood anyways so I think I will give it another 3 mnths and gradually get used to the idea that its not going to happen for me !
So like I said miracles do happen and I do beleive in them so I may still get one !

thanks for listening you are a great bunch ! I I get over this without too many tears !

    Hello ladies,

Murrycod- Yes, yesterday was hard back at work, it was just sad to be 'not pregnant', you don't realise at the time how much of your thought it takes up and how you do so many things differently to protect your baby, then all of a sudden you don't have a baby to think of and it feels kind of lonely. Today is feeling a bit easier.

We started the health kick well with a nice walk along the water last night and a healthy dinner.

Yes I did tell Sarah that i am quite proud of my E cup boobs . I also told her I'm a size 16 but that she could make me a little skinnier if she wanted, well hell that's the only time I'm ever going to be a size 8!!! I added some photos to my profile so you can see what I really look like.

If I hear from AF i'll tell her you're looking for her.

Ferrals- Would it help to do IUI instead of IVF? Its heaps cheaper, makes each cycle shorter and you know exactly what's going on when. Might just up your odds with out so much invasive stuff. Just an idea. Hope the headache is a good sign and a BFP is on the way and no need for any more intervention.

Matthew'smum- Yay for starting the pill and getting on the IVF train, good luck.

KITF- any more news? Fingers crossed for you.

Dory - thinking of you babe big hugs

Crafty - sorry I missed your post we must have been writing at the same time. I am so sorry then news is not the best. If hormone levels are the issue then I'd see the FS because these can be uped fairly easily. Also he's not an expert as you said and we all know that hormone levels can vary very widely between women and between cylces. Yes you are right you are working with older eggs but women your age have babies quite regularly, only 5 months ago your eggs were still good enough. Please don't give up hope until you've got more information.

craftymummy-thinking of you, your definitely still in there with a chance, ring fs asap, being a new patient you might of a bit of a wait to get in,worth seeing what he /she has got to say.Clomid is only a small tablet taken 5 days of your cycle...sunbeam-glad today is a bit better for you.Like your avi................Thanks everyone for your support with ivf,it means a lot,not much of it going around in real life,i don't think people understand why i want to do it when i already have living children...

    hey lovely ladies,

I dont know if i should be posting in here still or not as i dont want to upset anyone..my gp called me last nigght and said my levels were now at 96!!!! im still not confident although DH made me poas sunday night just so he could see the lines appear himself lol...such a wally he is....if its ok ,i will lurk here longer as im still doubtful even though i know its BFP..... got a date scan tonight which is scaring the hell out of me as it was 2days after my last scan that i miscarried....but not having a period since xmas makes it so bloody ahrd for them to know whre i am at lol.....
This forum has been the best place that i could be these last 9 months, i know lose is something we live with day to day but u girls are just so kind and considerate even though enduring ur own pain.Had it not been for you girls, even though i wasnt always actively posting, i dont think i would have got through my rough days..It was a must for me to check my inbox every day and remind myself that i wastn alone and that perfectly normal people were going through the same feelings and understood where i was at...not that we would ever wish this feeling on our worst enemies..but you get what i mean..I am sending you all the stickiest of baby dust,as i have learnt brilliant things come to those who wait,, but i think all of our waiting should end and we can all end up on same due date forums...what u all reckon???
