Sunshine-welcome and sorry for you loss i lost my daughter at 19weeks 5days it was the worst thing i have ever gone through so i know how you feel and i am here to talk whenever you feel the need.
Sarahrach-the cramping could be ov pain.
Jahzara-sound like you had a great time sorry AF showed her head at least she waited until you were on your home.
Crafty-that follicle stimulating hormone FSH is the one i was talking about FS's want it under 10 on day 1 of cycle that is normal for fertile women up to 14 is still possible for ivf and pregnancy but when it is higher they dont like doing ivf as they think you wont respond to ivf medication check out the thread ivf with high FSH there are women in there that have been trying to fall pregnant and if i remember correctly one lady fell pregnant naturally with a FSH of 14 i am not entirerly shore but my PGD nurse said the FSH hormone is supressed when E2 rises through the cycle so it should be lower in the middle of the cycle than at the beginning my FS said my 10.5 on day 1 was then 8 on day 3 as the E2 was rising and was at the high end of normal but because i had a heap of follies she is not worried there are natural remedies to help lower FSH vitex as you know but also royal jelly, macca root,coq10 and wheatgrass tablets i am on all of them as FSH can fluctuate month to month i am trying to keep it low but i did google it and some women have falling pregnant with levels in the twenties the FS can give you meds to help if i were you and the big M is approaching i would go out fighting throw everything you can at it because you just are not ready for it so it has to wait you will be comming to the belly buddies group with the rest of us.
Dory-i was thinking of you yesterday you sound just like me and my DH we do the same for abbi but i am conficted as what to do on the 20th of march as i dont know if i should refer to it as abbi's Bday because you are suppose to celebrate Bdays it was the day she was born so how do i wish my angel a happy Bday when it's not happy i want to celebrate what she means to us and it is also my nieces 18th Bday and she want's to share the day with abbi and let a balloon go with happy Bday Abbi on it do i celebrate or morn i don't know.
AFM-just got my info pack on westmead fertility clinic and the fee's are great i would be out of pocket only $700 plus about $1000 for medications so wayyyyyy cheaper than SIVF but i would have to travel to sydney for all the BT and U/S i will wait until april to decide i hope i can transfer all my workup test results from SIVF so that will save unessersary testing and money to do all the same tests we have had done.
I also have brought 7 very early HPT's that can pick up hcg levels as low as 10 iu/ml so should be able to start testing on monday.
Hi all.. wanted to stop in and say hello and let you all know i was thinking of you.. .. i feel like i havent been in here for awhile..lol

its been a while since I've posted so I apologise if I am a bit behind the times!
Ferrals: I love what you did in Abbi's memory, so beautiful. I also wanted to say that I received my info pack yesterday from the Westmead Fertility Clinic. I am with IVFAUST at the moment & love my dr but as we only have 1 income at the moment the cost is making me think twice. We have 2 frozen embryos left but if they don't stick we may have to look at a cheaper option.
to all those who have got a BFP congrats & wishing you all the best for a happy & healthy pregnancy
Sunbeam - was so sad to hear your news...thinking of you
To those who have got a BFN I hope you are ok & I hope with all my heart that next cycle is the one.
Welcome to the newbies & sorry you have had to join us here, it is a blessing in a way because the support helps you to get through the tough times.
everyone else...hi, am still trying to catch up on everything but there is a lot to read!
AFM - had AF last week (5 weeks after D&C) & apart from the first couple of days was not as bad as I thought she'd be. I'm currently taking my estrogen tablets & having a scan next week. My FS wants to see if the tablets are enough to rebuild the lining or if I need extra injections as well. If all looks good I should be able to start my next FET cycle in a few weeks
Sunshine - oh my sweetie - I am so sorry for the loss of your little man. You are not a failure, absolutely not!! Although I know how you feel, but be gentle on yourself and don't blame yourself. The loss of your little boy is a sad and heartbreaking tragedy.
Wow, at only two weeks in, your pain must still be so raw an overwhelming and you must still be trying to see through a constant stream of tears. It does change, and in time the tears do stop being so constant. I remember being afraid of what I might do and how I would cope once the tears stopped. I actually found a lot of comfort in the tears because it meant I was still close to and remembering my babies. I was honestly really frightened of not crying. I managed to find a way through that.
Go gently, this journey you are now on, is one of the hardest, if not the hardest. Give yourself time to heal, but if you get really scared, ask for help.
Stay and lurk as much as you need to in here, and when you can post. Know that we all in here, know your pain and the tough tough journey you are on now. Altough each of our journey's are different they are also similar. Don't be a stranger.
AFM - thankyou so much for all your kind words of support. I actually have such a sense of peace today and I am just so overwhelming proud of my little girl and of DH and I. Not that we are "through it" but we have survived and grown in our love for each other and our angel babies.
I'll write more later, just wanted to touch base. Take care.
Sunshine Darling, welcome to BB.
I am so sorry for your and DH loss of your little one. It reassures me though, that ladies like you, all of us, can find BB, have a lurk for a while and feel comfortable enouth to join in XXX
Sorry you have to join this part of the forums, but so happy to help share your journey through this tough time.
We are all here for you, we all have good days and bad, but the support is always constant XX
Ferrals, as you know my IVF clinic is in Adelaide, 5 1/2 hr drive, and they let me get my bloods and scans done here where I live, hope that can be an option for you. Working shift work is always hard to juggle I know!X Sooo testing Monday huh?!? Fingers crossed for you my Darling XXXXX
Dory, so glad to hear that you got through these past few days with comfort and a few cuddles on the couch XXXX
AliCat, I hope that your endometrium becomes nice and thick for you naturally. Whats a few more needles I know, but would be nice if the O'l reproductive system got something done like it is supposed to!!!!
Hey we may be pretty close to eachother getting out FET done, I try not to think about mine too much because I know the 50% thaw rate, but I dunno, something has to go right for me at some stage !!
TTCALC, I have a better idea!!! Lets find a cure for Misscarriage and we can close this thread altogether!!
If I could save one girl from going through what we all do, I would.
I hope you are feeling well, and not too cold over where you are!XX Hows the snow? Stopped yet?XX
Jahzara a few of my mates went to see Acadacca in Melb, they loved it!!
Sorry you got AF, but glad she stayed away for the most of your time away XXX
Crafty, me not that much help with levels and stuff XX
But so glad that you are finally up and running to get things hurried up!!XX
You can ask for what is called an 'Egg Timer Test', they fo it at most FS clinics that I know of, it would definatelly give you some clear answers on how many eggies you have left, and how healthy they are X
Sarahrach, I have heard of a CL cyst 'annoying' the ovulation of an egg, but not sure it can prevent it, not sure. Heres hoping you are having late O pains.
Sunbeam, Kirsten, SnugglyBean honey, Ric, everyone I missed, XXX
AFM, nope no signs of anything for me, other than a few cramps, couple decent mood swings, and feeling just plain lazy and unmotivated, no idea when AF will show up. I am hoping either never, or on time! Never know, .0000000000000000000001% !
Ferrals thanks for the info it was as clear as MUD ! no really I get the just of what your saying but because its day 14 of my cycle I have no idea what they should have been also I think i only ovulated on friday as I had clear cm and bad pain in my right side (hopeing it was anyways ) That would have been day 17
Got an appointment for friday next week but as its day 29 for me don't know whether to change it to the next week or not ! part of me wants to keep it and part says wait,
I feel a bit guilty as its going to cost quite a bit of money and I know my kids could do with me spending it on something else like saving for a swimming pool when our house is finished but I feel as if this is my last chance or do I go through the rest of my life miserable because I never gave it all the effort and help I needed !
One more question I have been very wet down below and creamy white not itchy or anything so I know its not thrush but never had this before ,any ideas ? Also a bit crampy so I have no idea what going on with me anymore !
Everyone else hope you had a good day Murraycod I feel exactly the same as you very unmotivated and lazy but the washing keeps coming and the kids need feeding so I best kick myself up the butt and get on with it ! This weather makes us lazy 38 here today and in the 40s the next few days ( thanks goodness for aircon ) doesn't help me in this weather as I am never sure if I am getting hot flushes or if its the weather

Crafty-i know what you mean by feeling bad for spending money that can be spent on your kids i felt guilty but i said to myself my boys have everything they need they never go without if anything are spoilt and have to much i knew if i didnt at least try i would regret it for the rest of my life so my next financal contribution to my quest for a baby is on monday at this fangle dangle naturopath and i believe it will be money well spent if it helps me to achieve my dream or at least put 110% into trying.
Thanks for the lovely replies and best wishes for my pregnancy.
I haven't posted on here since the other day as I am convinced this one is going the same way as the others. I started light bleeding on Monday (minimal) and more yesterday. I went to the Dr yesterday who put me on bed rest for a few days and sent me for blood tests but now I have some bright red spotting/bleeding. I have no pain and my boobs are no longer sore. Still waiting for my blood results, but it felt right from the beginning.... I was extremely moody, fatigued, boobs quite sore. Life is not fair. I dont know If I can go through it again.... this will be my 4th pregnancy and 4th m/c.
Sorry for no personal replies but I'm just not up to it.
I actually posted this in the wrong forum so if you have read it before.... sorry.
Hey Looppie: so sorry, life is so unkind sometimes. It just does not make sense that something so joyous as getting PG has to be so traumatic - it really takes the innocence off it for those that have MC. I hope you'll be ok soon and get some positive news.
Ferrals: seeing a naturopath should be good, at least (as you say) its being as commited as possible to getting UTD. Looking forward to hearing how you go!
Dory: thinking of you - hope you are ok.
AFM: well looks to me like I'm either 4DPO (with a super slow temp rise) or 1DPO. At least the signs are pointing towards having O'd and I BD a few times within each fertile window which I'm thankful for. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow (and Saturday) and hope I get another couple of rises to confirm.
Hi loopylouie
Sorry you are here again but all is not lost yet try to hang on until you get your BT results and then you will know for sure ! I am sorry this has happened so many times to you maybe now they will look into it if this does end in mc but as I said you don't know just yet heres hoping you get some good news
Ferrals I mananged to get one of those gizmos from the uk so should be here for next weekend when AF is due ! so in time for my next cycle at least I can get more of an idea if Im getting a LH surge or not then, have decided to wait a few months before going to the FS as DH and I both had a long chat and decided to try this clearblue monitor first as it has such good reviews and we can concentrate on Bdancing the correct day instead of guessing !
Everyone else hope your all well some of us are in the 1WW now yipee !
Its been a quite day in here we must all be really busy.
I'm struggling today. I just feel like I'm in total no-where land, just waiting and waiting. I just want to be pg again or at least trying, not this, it just feels like c@#p I have contacted FS about the further testing they can now do but his midwife arranges that and she's been off a few days due to a car accident poor thing, so more waiting!
The health kick is going okay, I've not been very disciplined food wise but going to yoga tonight so maybe that will lift my spirits. Valentine's Day movie was good so was the popcorn!
Crafty- going to call you and Ferrals 'The Gizmo Girls' lets hope the gizmos do the trick (or better still that you are both UTD and can donate your gizmos to others )
I just got some results back from the Dr and my hCG levels have risen but not by much. They've gone from 1088 to 1755 to 2656 in about 13 days. I dont know how many DPO I am (last AF started 21 Dec 09) as this pregnancy was a complete shock for us as we were waiting for AF to arrive so I could start a stronger dose of clomid. The Dr also wants to talk about my iron studies... can low iron level affect hCG levels? I'm just looking for possible answers??? I've still got some spotting with fresh blood yesterday and a couple of clots. Sorry for the too much info!
Sunbeam.... I hate the waiting game too.... it's a killer sometimes especially when time is ticking away.
Thanks to Sarah, Craftymummy, Sunbeam and Mildez for your kind words and support.
Looppylouie have they ordered you a scan? Usually after the HCG is over 2000 they can find bub and hopefully see what is going on and where the bleeding is coming from (like subchorionic haemorrage)
Crafty-good idea i'm with you thats why we brought one because we have given ourselves until may then we will go see our FS i would rather try everthing else and leave IVF until last the gismo is great i have read the first month useing it can give you longer high readings until it gets use to your cycles (it stores 6 months of memory) but i found it to be spot the 1st time on the 2 days of high readings it coincided with wet watery cm then the next 2 days were peak readings which coincided with ov pain then i went back to 1 day of high and then to low and cm went back to thick so i reakon it has definately taken the guess work out of ttc and got it on the right days it now comes down to if we got a good egg and sperm to tango.
I am happy you and DH have a plan an my DH and i will be here with you and we can swap gismo info.
Sunbeam-LOL i like that gismo girls i would love to donate mine when i get my bub i will pass it on not going to waste such a nifty device.
Sorry to hear you are having a bad day the waiting makes it worse i know! i hope you can get back to baby making asap and not much on the symptom front from me still getting niggeling period pains but i feel that with AF and pregnancy so that means nothing i dont have my hopes up but fingers and toes are crossed i will test on monday which is day 25 before i go to see the naturopath.
Dory - for Amelia's anniversary. Such a sad time for you and your family sounds like you had a beautiful day yesterday remembering your little girl together. Thinking of you.
Sunshine_6 Welcome to you and you must be going through such pain, I'm so sorry for your loss and sorry for everyone here who has been through what you are going through now. You will find a lot of support here so let us help you through it.
Sunbeam - sorry you are having a hard time being back at work.I found my first week tough then it got a bit easier. It takes up so much of our thoughts being pg and I understand how lonely you feel 'cause I feel like that too.
LoopyLouie - fingers crossed for you - it must be really tough having had previous mc to feel like it might be happening all over again. I REALLY REALLY hope it isn't.
Crafty sorry to read what a hard time you've been having. Glad you are feeling more like your self now and that you have a plan. Fingers and toes crossed for you now officially one of the 'gizmo girls' with Ferrals! You're in good company!!
Ferrals, TTCaLC, KitFaerie - bring on the BFPs!!
Hubba! - wow! Sounds very positive and keep us posted!
Dory and SPF - hope your pgs are going from strength to strength xxx
MurryCod - I've been taunting AF for weeks with my best frilly white knickers and seems to have worked (she finally visited on Tuesday while away from home and doing the training course, of course!). Hope she comes soon so you can get your thoughts around where your body is up to. I can relate to your post about the kids coming for visit and having a headache in half an hour! I had my godson (2) and his sister (5) for a weekend and we were exhausted by the end of it!
Kirsten how are you?
Jahazra - my BIL flew down from Darwin to see Acca Dacca too and loved it!
SarahRach hope those levels rise.
MatthewsMum - hi hope you are going OK on the pill and your cycle is off to a great start.
TTCaLC - testing time soon! Fingers crossed!
Sorry for anyone missed - alot goes on here in a few days!
AFM - I'm really chuffed with my avi! The little suns in the background are our snowbubs and the pink star in my hand is our little one recently lost and the one my DH is holding is the other little one I've been dreaming of. Can't wait to hold them in my arms. We look about 10 years younger LOL - if only!!
I'm so Bummed today...
AF got me this morning.. I had no signs of her coming at all and from my ticker i was suppose to start on March 1st.. DAMN
Im confused about starting now instead of march 1st but then again my cycles might be out of wack from the m/c...
I feel like my time has come to the end.. for ttc for 10 yrs and then losing our first child 2 months ago, this is ruff and very emotional..
I keep thinking God has already gave me enough to handle since im raising 2 neices and a nephew and possiblity 2 more coming to me ( ron son and his sister) ..
I dont want to just give up right now i still got a few more years in me ...
All that Bd'ing didnt help at all..LOL we got next month i guess but i just dont know if i want to keep going thru these heartaches.
I havent told my DF yet( will later when he gets home)
GoodLuck Ferrals, kitkarie best of luck to you and everyone else..
Im going to lay down for a few and maybe be on later...
Hugs to all
TTCALoveChild.... My thoughts are with you today. I too know what the heartache is like and I am also 30. People say you're still young... there's plenty of time. That's not the point... it's the losses and not knowing why you can't fall or carry that are the hard parts.
Hope everyone has an alright day today.... the weekend tomorrow!!
