Kirsten I hope DS had a great birthday! Glad to hear the bleeding has stopped
Sunbeam - was so happy to hear your levels are increasing. I know how stressful low numbers can be but it looks good...looking forward to seeing what they are on Friday!
Ferrals - no objection from me for more ranting & raving...that's what we're here for
sarahrach - hope the bleeding stops for you soon.
murraycod - all the best for your FS appointment today, yay for the cancellation - less waiting!
to everyone else I hope you are all going ok, thinking of you all.
AFM - it will be 4 weeks on friday since my D&C. I had have headaches for last couple of days & cramping (I usually get migraines when AF visits) so I thought she'd be here but no I am just getting spotting so I don't know whether it will turn in to AF or not as this has never happened before & as it was my first D&C I don't know if it is common. Am a bit confused because I also thought she'd take a while to come back
Sunbeam-lol yeh i'm not looking forward to it the liquid form of vitex is horrendous all the other stuff is tablet so i just throw it down but i will do what ever it takes to make it happen quicker i'm glad your doing ok and i hope to see your levels have increased on fridays BT.
Mathewsmum-ive done the organic thing it is very difficult i did that to get my estrogen level down and it worked but i will wait and see what catherine says when she looks into my eyes iridology i think thats how you spell it and she looks at your fingernails and tongue to see whats going on with me if anything as this was really my 1st month ttc after all that waiting so i shouldnt jump the gun and think it wont happen it didnt take us to long to fall pregnant with abbi so i need to tell myself to relax only a year has past a year that i regret not ttc while we waited so if i was nice and fertile a year ago there is no reason that it wont happen now (easier said than done) good luck on your ivf journey hope its not to much waiting for you.
Craftmummy-maybe implantation bleed not much longer for you to wait and yeh the vitex is great for getting cycles regular mine were always 28-29 days until the ivf now i'm not real sure today is day 29 and i have had the sorest boobs they are also huge at the moment and have been getting AF cramping so i think my estrogen is high that is why my boobs are so sore and AF is not here yet i am taking vitex to try and balance out my levels but i think my hormones are excuse my language are f###ed up at the moment.
Hey Gals. I know its been a while. iIt's so nice to catch up on what's been happening. I am in a weird place right now, more on that later, but I wanted to do a couple of perssies....
Murraycod - you are just beautiful girl. How did you FS appointment go? My prayers are with you for emby#2. I feel sad about Harvey....
Sunbeam - that's good news... how are you feeling?
Mo4 - are you feeling a bit stronger? I hope so.
AFM - just when I found some peace with this part of my journey, I discovered some bleeding when at work yesterday afternoon with some clotting. Not AF! Of course my immediate thought was m/c. Any bleeding for me in my previous pgs has been the start of m/c and I have never bled with a large clot this early on before. But when I called my ob he said come in and made an urgent appointment for me. Sweetie. Anyway, I got some news I didn't expect.Things seem ok for now, but who can say with my history? I know there are no guarantees. But the ob must be really worried because after a time, 12 weeks I think, he wants to see me every week. So that's good, that things are ok for the moment, but its a very hard road now for me. I was just getting to a place where I had convinced myself I didn't need to check or expect bleeding when I wiped after going to the loo.... I feel like I am on a precipice and gradually losing my balance.... I remember how I felt when I was miscarring my son Nicholas, and then when he was born, how hard it was to be positive for the surviving twin of that pregnancy, who also m/c 4 weeks later and who is my daughter Sophie. It's so hard because I don't have any happy endings, and if I let myself think about, it scares me witless that I am /c again..... and there is nothing I can do to stop it. it's just so sad. The only thing I can do is try to be thankful for the now, and try not to think about how scared I am, because in all honesty, that is a pretty dark place for me and I don't want to go back until I have to.
Anyway better, go, I am sorry to bring you down, just when everyone was starting to sound a little positive in here. I will keep you updated. You have all been a really strong support base for me and I needed to share my very real fear that yesterday I was going to rejoin you all after such a brief sojourn. Maybe I still will, who knows. Keep my spot warm.
Dory-hang in there just hope its bub settling in and stiring things up a bit and it will be fine i don't know if you were posting in this thread when i mentioned my girlfriend had bleeding with her pregnancies and quite a bit to she now has 3 boys one born 12 weeks ago after 10 weeks of constent bleeding some babies just give there mums a bit of a scare.
Dory: how scary for you! Sounds like you are in good hands with your ob. My GP told me of a patient of hers who had 3 babies and bled with clots the whole way through all pregnancies...I'm she was trying to make me more positive (this was before my M/C) but it does happen.
AliCat, birthday was great thanks, and it's so nice to not be bleeding anymore I can't help you on the spotting/bleeding after D&C issue, sorry, I had natural miscarriage...but it could be AF...esp if headaches/migraines are normal for you.
Ferrals: Sounds like your hormones are all F#%$@d up, good luck with Catherine, hope she can sort it all out for you, and quickly too.
Craftymummy: Could be implantation, I have my fingers crossed!!
Sunbeam: good luck with your BT tomorrow.
AFM: not much to report....just going with the flow and seeing what happens...

Matthew'sMum good luck with the beginning of your IVF journey!!XX There are a few of us girls here to help you understand whats going on and all the jargon!X
Enjoy doing it, take time to have fun with the process and take each day as it's own journey XX The paperwork isn't too bad
Kristen (huggs) Going with the flow is good, don't put too much pressure on youself, stay positive and take it easy, sudden feelings will be still very raw for you right now, so make sure you are still getting plenty of huggs from DH XXXXX
Thopes I too hope you can get on the TTC wagon with us! Nice to hear from you darling X
Alicat, each of us are different, but your lining may have been still thin from your D/C so that may be the reason for such a light AF X I do hope it is the start of a fresh cycle for you hun X
KitF, I love the name splat!!! How cute is that!!! I dunno where my DH got the name Harvey from....let me just say, that I will be doing the naming when we are lucky enough to have a healthy bub!!
Hope the drive to Brisvegas wasn't too bad!
KellyM I hope that your new TTC journey is a short and happy one XX I'm glad that you are open chatting about your experience and feelings about your MC, my friends hate it when I start talking about my MC and TTC again, "They Feel Uncomfortable" .....!
TTCALC, hope you get the news there are some strong healthy swimmers!! Funny about you having to help, but you will never beleive what I have to go through with this subject..........where do I start!!!! For all of the IUI's we had to use a special sperm collection condom because DH couldnt......um......DTD himself.
And with the IVF, well, just imagine, my tummy felt like it had party poppers going off inside it, and the morning of my EPU, I stil had to give him the 'Pleasure' of using a collection condom, just before my op. I was sooooo delighted to help out
Jahzara, any news on 'O' yet!!!! Hope you get a nice suprise on valentines day!X
Sarahrach i hope the bleeding stops for you soon X Take it easy XXX
Jilly very best of luck for your ICSI cycle comming up Am so proud that you are strong enough to give it all you have X New FS, new hope! XX
Keep in touch XXXXX
Craftymummy, Just sending you a little more X!! Could be an implanter!!
OOOHHH the suspence!
Emmy, second opinions are always good if you are still unsure of what your next step needs to be, I hope you find great success no matter what you need to try!X I do hope that you caught that egg this month though!XX Spermies can live for an amazing amount of time, especially the Girlie ones!! I think Jahzara is gender bending ATM!!!!
Hubbabubba it was soooo lovely to hear from you the other day!X I hope you are well X
SPF!!!!!!!!!! I laughed at your thaughts on the bumpy road and implantaton....not at you, but with you!! I was worried about the 5hr very bumpy road home after ET last month so I asked the FS about it and he giggled at me, he said having an embie in the uterus is like sticking a grain of rice in peanut butter then screwing on the cap, theres no chance of anything 'falling out or not implanting' even if i went off road 4x4ing!!
In saying this, I still worry about sneasing....still!!!!
Ric I hope that you have some luck with that referral you were after hun XXX Thinking of you sweetheart XXX
Snugglybean, I hope you are having a ralaxing break, and I hope you are doing ok, if you are lurking away, know I am always wondering how you are XXXXX
Ferrals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Late again!!!!!! give your naughty reproductive system a nudge from me! Have the coolest news about today, am so darn excited...............yeup, excited all over again! Bloody rollercoaster!!!
Visit with FS in Adelaide went better than fantastic, when I mentioned to him that DH and I would like to try out FET before a stim cycle in April/may, his eyes lit up like shining lights and said it was a great idea!! He said he was so glad that we decided on our own do a FET, he always likes to do a FET if able before another stim, and also reassured us, that even though there was a 50/50 chance of thawing, the chances would still be 50/50 if we had 2 or 3 to thaw, so it doesn't make a difference.
He even asked me if I wanted to do it this month on the cycle im on now! Decided on March cycle though, think my body needs a break from all of the drugs!
Because I have such long natural cycles, and all over the place he gave me the option of taking Clomid for the FET cycle so I jumped at the chance. Would much rather have a 28 day cycle for an embryo transfer, much better than a 38+ day wait !!
So charging away, got the boxing gloves on!! We also filled out all of the needed paperwork for our next Stim Cycle so if the FET brings no success, all we have to do is ring and let the nurses know when I get AF, so they can start me on the Antagonist Stim Cycle injections. All organised!! Amazing what you can get done in one visit girls!!
Fs also offered us phone consults now so we don't have to travel to Adelaide all of the time for followups, what a Darling he is!X
Have a lovely night everyone XXX
To the Darling thaughtfull person who RAKed me, thank you so very much X I will treat it with great respect X May Karma give you a special gift in return XXX Thank you Thank you XXXXX

Murrycod-i am gobsmacked that you had to DTD on the morning of EPU i was so uncomfortable there is no way i could of managed it i am lucky my DH has no worries with umm not sure if i can say this but doing the old hand job the only problem was i got jealous that he was having fun without me and told him he owed me one it is natural and they have all done it at one time or another i know it is embarrassing but we put our vjay jay's out there for the world to see anyway is he going to help out next cycle now he knows the whole process?
Dory-hope spotting has gone.
Sunbeam-hope tomorrow's BT is all good.
AFM-still no AF my body is a mystery to me now i could have bet money on my cycle being on time before november now i have nooooo idea i hope it was all the hormones and not my body telling me time is running out.
Im off to work talk to you all later.
Thanks ladies - bleeding has stopped today. God that's a great feeling isn't it. I felt so depressed during the bleed, and now I feel like I'm coming out of my cave.
Oh god Dory, how frightening that would have been for you. Good idea with the deep breathing - sounds like you are in good hands with your OB.
Ferrals sorry no AF as yet I know how hard it is when our bodies don't play the game !
My spotting turned into full AF with cramping and small clots so I have no idea whats going on with me, was not due AF for another 8 days ! I really am getting so fed up of this S**T so Ferrals im with you at the end of my teather !
sorry not a long post but my boys fly off tomoro and its not a good day for me AF arrived 8 days early and I definately did not Ovulate this month so what now I am not sure maybe I should go back on the vitex but it gave me migrains and nausea just don't know whats going on with me !

Thopes - I thought that was you hiding on the other side of my lurking pole!. I hope things are doing really well, ad everything smartens up nicely for you.
Dory - do NOT forget what I said about the mirror - it's just as important now as it was then. Relax - and remember there are many reason for bleeding that are in no way connected to that!
To those of you chasing the dream - and having trouble keeping focus on the dream, stay strong. Even if you lose strength - remember there are many big strong shoulders here. And keep chasing the dream, just as much for those who can't chase the dream as yourselves!
I actually came in to drop this story in, which I thought you ladies would enjoy. It was DH & my anniversary yesterday. We went off to stay at a hotel in Melb for the night. (I should point out that there hasn't been any bd'ing in this house for a month or so - I just mentally can't do it) We get to the hotel, first thing I do is go pee. OMG - I haven't seen her for SIX MONTHS, but there she is, the witch!!! DH was all , yet I was I have NEVER been so excited to see her in my whole life!
Hope you found that timing as amusing as I did.
