The reason for the 3 month wait might be US insurance driven - since the cost of IVF is so expensive there, they might advise waiting 3 months to get the most out of the IVF cycle because the DHEA takes a while to get into full gear. It didn't give a medical reason for waiting 3 months.

My FS moved me right to IVF after TTC for 6 months and having no success - she said this would give us the best chance. One FS's opinion, but it meshed with my sense so I was happy to go with it. I was just hoping that there would be something we could do to give us a boost during the holiday period during which we will TTC on our own. But as long as we have a plan for Jan, I'll be happy - I like a plan!
