Hi ladies - zen-ness was tested a bit more today... after no spotting at all yesterday, arrived at work this morning, went to the loo and there was more spotting than there had been. Totally FREAKED of course - saw a dr at lunch. Got referrals for quantitative hcg's from the dr (not my normal one) as well as an extra scan referral to use later on - you can never have too many security blankets! Spotting had eased by then anyway... went back to work and tried unsuccessfully to concentrate whilst running to the loo to tp check every 15 mins.
This dr had also never heard of progesterone support during early pregnancy - hmmmm...
Anyway - long story short got results at 6pm - reassuring (hcg now 463 up from 103 on friday, doubling time 33.2 hours). Back for bt on Wed to check they are still rising
And .... my normal GP (Dr Amazing) lived up to her name. She called me tonight at 7.45pm because she had just seen my test results - she said she just had to give me a call to congratulate me! I was so teary - it was just so nice of her. She rocks.
Sorry ladies for the selfish post - will be back tomorrow night for persies - great big and lots of love and for you all...
chappas--8 days late! Did you only POAS at 2 days late? Maybe you should give it another go? Here's some vibes for you!
21--Have to agree with Angel.... most of the BFP's that come from this thread weren't "easy" ones.... some of the girls tried for well over 2 years before getting their BFP, and some of the others have been trying for over 4 years--still waiting for their BFP's! You have to kinda watch the things that are said, so as not to offend anyone that's had it worse than you.... I'm sure it wasn't intentional, I just wanted to let you know that it could be offensive to some. Hope AF stays away on Wed!
hannah--A healthy, loving environment is definitely the type of environment you want when TTC! Good for you!
missbec-- I'm so sorry for the reasons you're here, but grateful to have this opportunity to get to know you! The encouragement and support received from the girls is this thread is amazing! I'm so happy for you that you have family and friends to help validate your feelings--that alone is huge! I your journey here with us is short and sweet, and you're blessed with your forever baby soon!
larz--Congrats on a great u/s! Sorry to hear bubs wasn't being very cooperative! In the womb, and already pushing your buttons! Have fun telling family and friends!
megsmum--It's official.... we're cycle buds again! Welcome to the TWW! Glad to hear your IUI went well! Will keep the going for your BFP!!
Krystie--I thought for sure I must be seeing things! It's YOU! I knew I missed you, but it wasn't until I saw you're beautiful avi that it really hit me how much I've missed you! Have you noticed how advanced little Chyan is? Check her out.... she has already learned how to flip people off! (it said not to tell, but I felt you should know that she's learning some terrible habits in that belly of yours!) Oh, yes, would love the book if you're willing to send it to me! Love you lots, Krystie! So glad to finally hear from you.... hope the m/s eases soon! *kiss*
Angel--Stalk away! Maybe it will bring me good luck! I like the new saying in your sig, "Sometimes we need to change the paths we walk". Will always for your miracle, Angel!
p.s. The teach in me just can't help it.... it's hallucinations! Yeah, I know, bite you....Love ya lots! *kiss*
Jen Jen... you got it.... here it goes..... ready... its coming..............Bite......... Me... now if you push those a little closer together Bite....Me ooooops a little closer bite me.... ohhh see there you go... when you push those 2 words together it says BITE ME.... fancy that...ROFL
Easha--Aww, honey, I'm so sorry I wish I had something exceptional to say to help you feel less pain and disappointment. Know that this is filled with love and support... wish I could give it to you in person!
Mel-- I'm glad you found your way to our little thread, although for obvious reasons, I wish we weren't all here! You're definitely NOT alone with your feelings! I that we're able to offer you all the comfort and support you need throughout your journey.... And, hey, you're not jealous and bitter, you're heartbroken... it's normal and natural for you to feel that way! I hope your journey with us is short and sweet, and you're blessed with a quick, sticky BFP!!

: added one thing
Sorry have been offline - have been in Syds with DP and limited internet.
Welcome Jonisteve - sorry for your loss darling hopefully your stay will be short. People tend to do either (chat or post) or both honey - do whatever you feel comfortable with.
Mummy of 3b - I am so so sorry that you are having to live through your loss again. I totally understand how this would bring all those feelings back. My heart goes out to your DH's cousin and she is in my prayers.
Chappas - so sorry sweetheart
Jenushka - what a wonderful doctor you have - that must have been terrifying for you - you can hopefully breathe a little easier now. Yay!
Issy and 21 - wise words darling - it is so easy to get lost in your own grief and forget people have had to walk their own path
Smi - Happy Monday to you too petal
Sorry to anyone I have missed - hate losing a couple of days on here I feel like a total novice when I come back.
AFM - had bloods done again yesterday to see when to start Syneral and was told by the receptionist that I am not to start Syneral as my levels are not right yet. This led to the usual bawling my eyes out and today I am waiting to speak to my FS to see what the dealio is. I think I started too early and need to wait for my next period b4 TTC with again. Oh well, I made some fabulous tahini balls in my grief stricken moment. I am one of these weird people that cook their way through sadness. There is probably a scientific tissue:tahini ball/anzac biscuit etc ratio I could use.
Love to you all
Adelexxx
Will be back again later for the rest of the persies that I still haven't been able to finish! I'm working on it, though! Just don't want anyone to think I forgot them!
