Apes, sorry to hear that AF arrived for you, enjoy your weekend away for your birthday!
Sez, I guess you will know more about your dates when you have your first scan. When do you think that will be?
Kate, Sorry about the BFN but congrats on losing 2kgs WOW!
Lisa, Wow about your crazy body, its just not giving you any clues is it. Do you think that maybe your naturopath didnt put anything in your ovary area last time because you might have been ovulating late and therefore this is an implantation bleed? im hoping for you honey. Thanks too for what you said about the angels staying close to their mummy's can i ask what the book is called because i am interested in that sort of stuff.
Paige, GL with the TWW i hope it goes quick for you and ends with that BFP!
Michelle, How are you doing honey? I have been thinking of you everyday and wondering how you are holding up.....
Well guys i had my ultrasound today and all is well (I wont go on here because i dont want to offend anyone but i posted in PAML if anyone is interested). I am really excited and am spreading heaps and heaps of ***babydust*** around in here so grab a couple of handfuls to hold on too!
OMG, I don't know if it's the hormones, but I am getting seriously good vibes from this thread today! I'm fully buzzing, I'm so excited! I don't know where to start!
Lisa, I am STILL crossing everything for you. Any chance that was an implant bleed? Do you record/remember your bding? I am BUSTING to know what's going on with you! I so so so hope that you're pg! Please keep us updated And thanks for your beautiful post, very moving.........
Kate, I'm so sorry for you hon, sounds like your Sunday was ****. It's so frustrating when your cycle goes on and on.........Sending you so much babydust for your next cycle! Mind you, it ain't over til the red lady arrives! BTW, way to go on your diet! You should be very pleased with yourself. If you're sure you're not pg, get on to some Nurofen for that tooth, it's the best for toothache. Is it just sore when drinking cold stuff, or hot things too? Hope you're appt goes well, make sure you mention there's a chance you may be pg, so they give you the right LA.
Paige, I have found the Discover HPTs to be fantastic! (The ones that say 'test five days before your period'). They gave me a clear, defined line before any of the others. It was still faint, but I wasn't thinking 'is it there or not?' IYKWIM. Fortel Ultra are very good for early testing, but I only ever get a faint line on them, which is very frustrating! Crystal Clear aren't bad for early testing, Confirm and First Response gave me NADDA! The Lullaby HPTs are good now, but not for early testing. HTHs! Thanks for the tip on 'mothers drift'! I have already been warned that if I think pg brain is bad, wait for new mummy brain! Something to look forward to LOL! GL with the TWW. It is a bit easier when you can post and vent in here, the gals are so understanding.
Sarah, I'm so glad your ultrasound went well! I will def be checking out the details in PAML!
Kez, it was five weeks after my d&c that I got my first af, and it couldn't come soon enough! I hope the witch shows her face soon sweets!
Shan, what's going on today?
Kelly, all the best for tomorrow. I will be thinking of you
Big 'hi' to everyone else, sorry I just can't keep up today!
Well, I got my admission forms etc from Frances Perry House today, which makes it all seem quite 'real'. I want to get really excited, but i'm not letting myself. I'm being very CC&C about it all. My first Ob appt is Thursday week, 05/10, and I think that I will have my first scan about 20/10. He will send me for one at 8 weeks, so it depends on which dates we work off! He may send me sooner, I don't know yet. Only ten days to go YAY! I told them at work today, and they were very excited for us which was sweet.
I can't wait to log on tomorrow night to see what's been happening........I will log on later tonight jsut in case someone posts something exciting!
Hello lovely ladies,
It's all pretty action packed in here at the mo.!!
Lisa-- Are you sure it's not implantation spotting?? Have you had anymore yet today??
Shan and Apes-- Bloody AF (pun not intended!) You'll just have to partake in a few glasses of vino (why not if you can) and try to focus on your new starts.
Sarah-- great news re: your scan-- they can be so daunting-- don't know how I'll cope next time I'm in that position?!
Sez-- Glad it's all becoming a "reality" for you. It can be hard to allow yourself to be happy after previous bad experiences but you are doing everything you can from your end so you just have to hand your fate over to whoever or whatever and live in the moment. Why shouldn't you be happy? You deserve it so just go with it!
Kate-- Congrats on being minus those 2kgs and on having what sounds like a very CLEAN house!! I unfortunately spent yesterday in the same state as your hubby! Why do we drink?? It doesn't help either that I am a pathetic "two-pot screamer" when it comes to wine-- oh well at least I'm cheap.
Megan-- Hope AF comes soon. I'm pretty sure if it takes what your doc. considers to be too long there is something they can prescribe to bring it on. I know you've been told a bunch of times that what you are experiencing is normal but at least you can keep that thought in the back of your mind as a back-up plan if AF refuses to cooperate.
Paige-- Goodluck not losing the plot too much during your TTW. I won't be too far behind you as I'm at cd12 now. We'll be able to freak out together!
Kelly-- I have everything crossed for you for your scan tomoz. I'm sure your little bean is in there pumping away and doing all the things it's supposed to do. Sending you some "grow baby grow" vibes. I totally understand your anxiety though-- it's very hard to put any bad past experiences out of your mind.
As for me, I visited my GP today to look at my test results. They've all come back completely normal-- which i know is a good thing but it just leaves so many questions unanswered. Why has this happened to me twice? Is is a forgone conclusion that it will happen again? I'm not even preg, again yet and I'm laready so worried. At least if they had found some kind of anomalie (sp.?) they would have something to work with next time. My other prob. is that all this info. is really out of my GP's league-- I do have a specialist appmnt but it's not until November-- seems soooo far away right now! One thing that i did notice was that my progest. levels seemed on the low side 3.2nmol. I'm not positive where I was in my cycle as it was only a few weeks after my D&C so I've asked for another blood test on cd21 this cycle. I've read alot about low progest. levels and miscarriage. Anyhoo-- trying not to dwell (hard when everyone around me is preggers).
Any info you guys have about testing, progest., etc would be appreciated. I am slowly losing the plot in my desperate search for some kind of answer!!!
