Reet - it is so hard isn't it?.... to plan to do the right thing but then like you said you'd end up doing nothing. Go on your trip, but get travel insurance that will allow you to cancel for pregnancy or medical reasons ( I am sure your Dr could write a note indicating they don't recommend international travel to give to the insurer).... lots of women get gastro during pregnnacy and their bubs is ok. And if you take precautions whilst over there, you'll minimise the risk. No guarantees of course. Besides, you might be like Bermuda Girl and have this nice idyllic holiday with lots of saucy BD'ing and end up with your BFP ( although I am hoping you get it much sooner than Nov). Some of my fondest memories are of doing stuff whilst pregnant - surfing ( very gently) and going to Sydney are some highlights... and even though bubs isn't here, I have those memories of stuff we did do and did enjoy, and it would be sad to have missed out on that. I mean part of the reason I presume that you and DH are on the TTC rollercoaster is how you feel about each other - so go nuture yourself and your darling DH with a lovely holiday, but have a back up plan, just in case.

Kezzy ~ Hope its implantation spotting, FX! Thanks. I feel like claiming someone elses too sometimes LOL.
Matthewsmum ~ thanks heaps hun. I am pretty proud of myself for going and socialising and enjoying my friends sons 1st bday. GL and FX you get a BFP very very soon. Are you still doing FET soon?
Forshelby ~ I can appreciate you'd be concerned - hoping your mind can be eased very soon. FX that bub is just small and that he/she continues to stick and grow! Thank you - usually im ok at parties with pregnant women and babies but this one there were just heaps. Unfortunately im pretty sure AF is here now as getting heavier.
Clairesmummy ~ Im very sorry and feeling for you You and your DF will get there, never give up! Best wishes

Reet ~ thanks hun, it was very hard but my friend was so happy I came. Esp since her best friend who is also my best friend didnt come. Probably because she has had m/c then she got pg again and found out after splitting up with her near fiance and had an abortion. She didnt give any explanation as to why she wasnt going to the party. I understand everyone is diff and maybe she thought she wouldnt be able to cope but I think thats why my friend appreciated us going as she knew it wouldve been hard but we still went.
As above pretty sure AF is here so dont think i'll be needing to test again. Big hugs hun, must be very hard. I feel exactly the same - why can't we be like the ones that can get pg easily and dont have m/c's.

MsKara ~ Really hoping its old blood, FX. Hope everything turns out ok and they can get your BP down.
Mum22 ~ Love your attitude, GL hun.

Alice ~ Thanks hun. I didnt know many people at the party which I think made it harder. But my friend was very happy we went so I felt proud. Really feeling for you Will you get your long awaited and highly deserved BFP very very soon. Are you doing IVF cycle soon?

Kellbell ~ Im the same at the moment - so many I know are pg or already have bubs/young kids. Sorry about your chem preg Enjoy the bd'ing.
Dory ~ Hi and all the best, hope to see you around from time to time

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well xo
AFM ~ AF here, light at the moment but getting heavier I think (sorry TMI). At least 1 positive is that it is smack bang on time. 1st cycle AF has some on time since m/c in March/April.

Loops did I read your signature right that you are due to have IVF in October this year? I"m not real good with all the signatures.
Well the start of another cycle for you too!! I hate AF!!! I hope you have luck this new month and hope AF goes away very quickly for you. Does that make you CD1 or are you further?

Reet, have you tried preseed. I stand by it, it is sperm friendly. Buffy is going to give it a go this month as well!! I hope it gets her a BFP!! It's a really watery sort of lube I guess and comes with applicators to apply it with. I got preggers first time last preg with it and also this time (tho it didnt take). Also, silly as it may sound a few of my friends and I stand by lifting your legs up after BD to help the swimmers get to their destination. A couple of friends do handstands, or etc!!! Hmmm, probably sounds a little wacky?

Hi mum22 ~ yep that is correct, IVF/ICSI in Oct, I'll look forward to that. Yep AF sucks!! Probably not quite CD1 as I think they say usually your 1st full bleed day dont they, im really only spotting at the moment so Id say tomorrow will be CD1. And you, where are you at the moment?

I'm CD8 and counting!! Gosh I have a couple of friends who have gone down the IVF path (and had babies) but sheesh, it is soo very daunting and time consuming. I feel for you, and hope that you get a BFP this time around (if not sooner). Have you got to have eggs removed this time or do you still have embryos (or whatever they call them) frozen?

Loops I have re read this and I htought it may sound harsh I didnt mean for it to sound that way. I think IVF is great!!!! Not the way it sounds just wanted to make sure you knew this!!! IVF babies are miracles.

Dory - thanks, I think I made the right decision. How is the countdown to bubs going? Forgive me if I should know this, but do you know the sex??

Reet - I did have breakfast but it stayed down, miraculously. Only the large amounts of water I drank come up and a distinctly vitaminy taste. LOL... def. TMI there! Oh and the toilets are quite clean.. but still. It's the thought. Ew. Enjoy your travels later in the year, sounds like so much fun! I'm hoping to get to Melbourne to see DP's 91y.o grandma (only grandma I have now.. aww.) and spend some quality time, just DP and I.

Loops - I've decided that this new cycle is your bfp cycle. Ok? I have a creepy way of being right about this stuff.

Mum22- I too did the post-bd acrobatics. Seems it worked!! Though mine was more of a 'legs together, don't move or roll or cough'... bahaha.. I swear by it though. That and OPKS.

Hmmm... ok sorry for a me-ness post, but the results were not what I expected at all. I was expecting either a HB or a M/C, instead they've found the sac, yolk (i didn't know there was a yolk ) and approximate age of only 6wks 1 day, plus a recommendation to go back in 1-2 weeks.

My question is... at 6wks, shouldn't there be a HB or something? I think I've lost hope here.

mskara - have you had bloods done as well?? not sure on the hb as i was told that they can't see a hb sometimes unless your hcg levels are over 10000. sending you heaps of hugs tho sweety

bons - when are you thinking of testing?? not sure if i have missed the post where you said when sending you heaps of bfp vibes

mum22 - let the bd bonanaza begin!!

dory - i can't believe how quick the weeks are ticking over (hope it feels that way for you sweety)

loops - hoping af is kind to you this month

forshelby - so glad that the m/s has kicked in for you - still none here

hi to everyone i have missed, and all the newbies (sorry to hear that you have joined us) really need to go back further

AFM - oh the tiredness got me today came home early from uni so I can go for a sleep plus still getting over this cold

mum22 - thanks for the info. it's just the wait that frustrates me and the fact that "spotting" can mean so many things. i tested last cycle when i had the spotting, a few days later at 11 DPO and got a BFN so i just assumed that was that. if this continues next month i will definately be having it checked out.

forshelby - i am thinking of you. it sounds like you are having a very confusing time with these scans. i hope that they soon have some news for you that puts your mind, and your heart at ease. keep faith. oh.. i just read about your ms, great news!! and its always better to throw up in your own toilet isnt it? unfortunately, not always possible!

clairesmummy - you are certainly no failure. listen to your dp, sometimes its hard because they always seem to be so positive when we are feeling so down inside, but they are right. it will happen when it happens, all we can do is try and pray.

reet - i am glad to hear that clomid isnt playing havoc on your emotions. as for the rest of your post, you touched me!! i could empathise with everything. when is your EDD? mine is aug 24th and i am crushed knowing that on my EDD i will not be preg again, i always hoped i would. the camping trip will be a nice "distraction"( i guess is the best word for it) for you, some together time away always helps. i too have the fb friends broadcasting early BFP's. but wow. 3 weeks. thats crazy. thats the difference with people who have never lost a baby. they will never understand the fear or the hurt. we will get there. stay strong.

alice - you're story bought me to tears. you are doing everything right by the sounds of it. i have everything crossed for you that you will get a BFP before you're 42nd birthday. its wonderful to know you are staying postive keep it up.

loops - congrats on the regular cycle. FX af has figured herself out!

bons - FX for your BFP!

AFM: wow! i need to come on and catch up more. that took forever! spotting is following the same pattern as last cycle, light for two days. then third day (today) heavier but still brown, so i think af is about 1 or 2 days away. i also tried the post bd legs-in-the-air. didnt work in my case and i felt ridiculous! dp thought it was hilarious!

Mum22 - I'm confused by the toothpaste remark.... am I having another baby brain episode? lol

MsKara- Try not to worry! I had to have an internal u/s as things are so small at 7wks, so I'm not surprised they couldn't make out a hb yet. It will come, please try to relax as best you can. The tech told me that the reason my bubby has a slightly lower one is because it's probably just kicking in. Hugs!!!

Iona - Oh yes, I know all about the tiredness. I wake up tired, and yawn ALL DAY LONG... much to the disdain of my coworkers. LOL. They keep telling me to stop yawning, it's making them tired, but I just can't help it!! And it is a good sign that ms has kicked in for me, a part of me wishes it would go away now.. haha. I'm over it after about a week of feeling bleh, and after today's vomiting episodes (SORRRYYYY TMI) I really hope it doesn't come back like that again! I never thought it would be so hard to handle accounting with a queasy stomach. It's so hard to focus on reconciliations when you just want to chuck!

Kezzy - Yes, it's sooo much better to throw up in your own toilet. Or preferably shower. Saves thinking about what's meant to go in that bowl.. lol. ew. Sorry about the spotting.. it must be hard. I've been lucky to never really experience it except during a mc. My body is kind to me, so I'm sending you some 'well behaved body' vibes, and bfp vibes to go with it!

AFM, I forgot to mention I decided to blow my cover today at work. So many people have busted me, or have found out through others (people gossip a lot apparently) I asked my old boss to make the announcement. I knew she'd be chuffed since she's so clucky herself. She loves babies, so I asked her to do the honours. Oh, and there was sooo much speculation going on, probably because I, the serial high-heel wearing, make-up clad, straightened hair and generally well groomed self have traded in the heels for flats, skimped on the makeup, and not done my hair in weeks. I was so busted.. lol. I went home before I could see if the email was circulated yet, so looking forward to checking my inbox tomorrow, and receiving the congratulations. After seeing a hb, I feel more confident, so I'm just going to go with it! If the worst happens, I'll need support, so I figure what the heck. But you know what? This is a super sticky bub, and we are bringing it home. (Thanks for the reassurance, Kit, you rock.)

Sleep tight everyone, and happy bd'ing to those approaching O!

Forshelby- When are u planning ur melbourne trip for?? before bubs or after bubs?? Love that ur positivity is back! Yes u are defintely going to be bringing this baby home do u think u will find out what ur having??

MsKara- Hopefully its just too soon to find the heartbeat.. i have heard plenty of times that in the early days they can mess up how far along u are quite easily. Have u had blood tests done?? I wld be asking to get one and then a couple days later get another one.. just to make sure levels are going up. I think the fact that they said bubba was 6 weeks old means that everything shld be ok.. when i lost my baby at 9 wks they said that it looked like it had stopped developing at 5 weeks old cos all they cld find was the sac.. they call it a blighted ovum. Could they see where the bleeding was coming from?? I reckon try and push for a scan for a weeks time rather then wait til 2 weeks (i hate waiting!) by then it wld have grown and shld defintely have a heartbeat. Are u still coping alright?? Is the bleeding getting worse or is it just still brown spotting occasionally? Thinking of u xxx

Kezzy- Its so nice to be going thru the same journey with other ppl that truly understand my EDD is 19th sept. And dont give up hope yet u cld be newly pg for ur EDD.. hopefully this is ur month! Isnt that pre af spotting so annoying! i got it for the first time this month.. its awful.. it makes af seem SO much longer!

Bons- I was going to say something bout ur ticker.. but noticed that a few other ppls had stuffed up too.. including mine.. i had to make a new one. Glad u have got it sorted!! ooooh ur symptoms do sound promising! hhmmm shld i egg u on to test early???! haha

Mum22- Where do u get preseed from?? i might have to get some! Does it make things way too 'wet' down there tho or is it just right?? We havent ever had to use lubrication and i cant stand that drenched feeling!! (TMI!!) And yep i am defintely into the acrobats after bding! i was only just telling everyone my antics last month! haha my dh knows to grab the pillow (or 2) straight away and jam it straight under my bottom! (which forshelby made me realise is actually quite gross haha) i also put my legs up against the wall to help gravity along. We also only do deep penetration positions.. and i am NEVER on top during O time incase the stuff falls out too quickly after! haha way tmi once again!

    Hi Iona

Loops- Sorry to hear af is coming. Excellent that shes right on time for once tho. Hopefully that means that ur body is very ready to have another little bub growing inside it very very soon. x

Dory- Thanku so much for ur advice! I hadnt even thought of travel insurance.. ive never had to worry bout it before. But its a great idea. If i am pg and i go atleast if something happens over there i will be covered! Or if we change our minds at the last minute and think its too risky we can cancel. Im going to start looking into it! Thanku!

Once again hello to everyone i have missed! Hope everyone is doing great!

    Nothing new here

Oh goodness you had me lauging Reet that is hilarious. I get my preseed from Lullaby Conceptions - Affordable Fertility for Everyone I usually just ring them and place an order tho I havent had to place an order this time as have still some left from last time. Also, if you are after good HPT which read on really early on and are cheap they have them there. I tested pos with their strips 9DPO last pregnancy. They are like 10 for $10.95 or something. I think Lullaby is out of preseed but expecting it in any day and are taking phone orders for it in the mean time I read that somewhere that they have it sitting at customs to be released at any moment so they may even have some today. I find it particulary great with the applicators, cos you can apply just the right ammount and you can put it in you with the applicator (sorry if tmi) tho if you do order it you dont need the whole applicator ammount (too wet) and the stuff is really silky and not like other lubes. I def reccommend it!!

Forshelby, oh you will get it soon enough. Everyone I know who has been pregnant or is pregnant knows all about it. One day you will brush your teeth and go WTF as the toothpaste will make you feel like hurling. I had it so bad I had to block my nose to brush my teeth and wash my mouth out liek a hudred times or I would vomit. He he. I hope you miss that one all together!!!

MsKara, I had an early US with number 1 who they said it could be a whatever sack that never develops at 6 weeks cos no heartbeat, but it is right on the time that they do develop a HB and the HB might be so small the US doesn't pick up on it. Like you I got very stressed and went back in a couple of weeks later and it was fine and they dated it at just 7 weeks (so in 2 weeks the embryo had only developed 1 week) because they use the HB as a dating marker. Up until the HB develops they just sorta measure it and it isnt the most accurate. They say at around 8 weeks you will get a good idea of datings. Also that is a good sign that the egg sack was out as it feeds the embryo until it gets a placenta from my understanding. Also as I had my Us for no 1 as I was bleeding I can remember the US person telling me that although they could not see it the baby would be further embedding into the uterus to develop a placenta and it might have just hit a blood vessel which is seeping out. I dont know if this helps. Seriously I think it is **** being a bleeder in pregnancy.....I was sooooo jealous of my friends with their "perfect" pregnancies. But i had the better baby by far (temperament wise)

    Morning All,
Yay I got my ticker sorted!!! I get lost without it!
Reet - Im already busting to test!!! I dont think im going to need much encouragement! How is everything with you? not long til Dh comes home for a bding fest ???/ You had me laughing about being on top during O time hehe, DH gets cranky cuz I laugh so hard trying to dismount without losing any!!!
Mskara - Hang in there, I know the next few weeks are going to be really stressful but try and relax, Im praying for a stickybub for you! xxx
Mum22 - I know what you mean about the brushing the teeth! But for me it was the actual brushing!
Kezzy - EDD are hard, mine is the 31st of this month and Im hoping I will get a BFP just in time! Go easy on yourself a stickybub will come along in no time xxx
Iona - How is everything with you? Im not sure when to test, trying to hold of for as long as possible!
AFM- Surely gastro would be gone by now, i still feel sick FX it sticks around! Some slight cramping this morning and tightness across my tummy, I really hope im not imagining these things! Im in the bad books with DH, I took his cigarettes and threw them out, He has already quit once and Im not going to deal with him again if it turns into a full addiction again...ah well at least i did it away from O time
    Stickyvibes to everyone xxx
