    Hello ladies

Klee - just read your post above about the cord and not written in the notes. I had similar experience. However i had a massive bleed on xmas evening and raced up to hospital and Thomas was gone. They scanned over my placenta (as that is where the bleeding should have come from) but everything looked fine (i was only a little tender). At this stage we didn't know what happened but i knew it was the bleed - it was just unbelievable. Then when i delivered Tommy the next morning he was a little bruised on his face, arms, legs etc and he had the cord around his neck twice. I said "is that how he died do you think" (forgetting about the bleed that i had the night before) and the midwife said "yes it could have been". We were then in two thoughts - it must have been the cord !!! So when we saw the docs later that day they were talking about my bleed and about a possible placenta abruption and i said "what about the cord ?" to which they said "there is nothing in the notes about the cord so this wasn't an issue and babies are born with cords around their necks all the time"...hmmm..i was furious - why did the midwife tell us perhaps it was the cord but did not find it that important to write it down !!! I look back and think she only said it as she wanted to disguise the bruising (actually being the death setting in) from the cord being wrapped around him. She probably didn't want to scare us. Very ****ed off i was - i would rather the truth. Sorry if this has upset you but it is something to consider if and when you get the chance to ask more questions.

Lynn - welcome back from hol's -good to see you had a nice break and go DH for doing those injections. Can't wait to see how you go with it all.

Bailey - hope you are doing better now and definitely stick "it" in the mouth ! I have Maybe Baby ready for you - but i won't be at Playgroup on Tuesday i might drop it around if i don't see you on Sunday.

Hello to everyone else - sorry haven't had a chance to read all posts. Hope everyone is well.

I had my first official scan with ob yesterday (yes, 2 vaginal scans in 3 days - how exciting has that been) and i saw the blur beating away again. He put my dates back again to 7+2 as of today (whereas i thought i was 8 weeks going off my dates) according to "when we conceived". Interesting as i (via midwives) have gone off LMP. Anyway i have another scan in 2 weeks - to confirm that all looks good - he says that generally after 9 weeks there is less chance of miscarriage so that is reassuring. I always thought it was 12-13 weeks (but the more i read and here it seems to be that it can take weeks before your realise you are miscarrying thus the extra weeks)...learn something everyday !

Must go - will jump back on later - little miss is pulling me away to go "shopping" but there is nothing open !!!

Bailey - I am sorry that you feel like crap. I hope you are feeling a little bit better today. You are right, the temping tells you when you have ovulated. You will need to chart your temps every day and you will be able to see a pattern once you have ovulated as your temps increase. They stay increased until AF arrives. Temping won't tell you when you are about to ovulate, you will need to use the opks for that. It is just good to know when you are ovulating so you can work out when is the best time to bed next cycle (if they are the same). It is all very confusing and I have to agree about being told about the not falling pg. I said to my mum the other week, you told me how not to fall pg, why couldn't you tell me how to fall pg!!!! It is funny looking back now and seeing how careful we are when the chance of falling pg is so small!!!!!!

Deb - how are you going? Have you started testing yet? that this is your month.

Jo - I think that you should talk to your mil and tell her that you find the comments insensitive. Unfortunately people around us don't think before they speak and it can be frustrating. I'm sorry she is making you feel like this.

Klee - I'm sorry that you are confused about Phoebe's passing. I think it might be best to speak with your ob and get him to find out the reason so at least you know. Yes CD1 is when AF arrives as long as it isn't just spotting. I hope she is kind to you.

Tommysmum - I'm so happy to hear that your scan went well. I have found that I have learnt so much in this journey. Not only about Stillbirths but also about infertility. While I wish I knew nothing about both of them, I do actually find the female body very interesting. I guess I need to know what is going on with me so I have asked the questions and done research. It would be a lot easier if we were all made the same! Have fun shopping if you get there.

Spring - it sounds as though you had an emotional day in Canberra. DH is right, your little soldier is always with you and he would have guided and helped you through the day. Thanks for the pics of lil Spring - wow half way! I can't believe how fast the time as gone. I hope you are doing ok. Is DH back this weekend?

Mel - sorry we didn't chat last night. I didn't get home until late and then cooked dinner and then watched BL. I didn't realise it finished so late. I hope you are doing ok today. Have you done another test??? I know it is hard (from one test junkie to another) but try to wait until tomorrow or Sunday. Let me know how you go. How's the house stuff going?

Well my poor tummy is bruised and now I have a skin infection from the bandaids!!! I have sensitive skin and obviously it doesn't like the sticky stuff on bandaids because I have these red marks everywhere! My tummy looks a treat!

I got my bt results back from my bt yesterday. Est is 203 which is better than 83 which is what it was last cycle on CD9. Not getting too excited just yet. Last cycle the levels went up and then down. I am having another bt on Sunday so hopefully the levels have gone up.

    Have a good day
    Luv & Hugs
