9 BFPs in June & 11 in July!! Mine was July 3rd & I think Nell was the first (?).

Poor Tehya, teething must be tough on bubs I reckon. Hopefully her teeth will pop out soon. Bummer that the cleaner didn't do such a good job in the bathroom. I think we're going to have one of those nights again too Aaah well, it can only get better........

    Have a great weekend Deb

Wow thats alot of BFP's in 1 month hey. There must of been something in the water. Either that or some really cold weather that got us all snuggled up.

Deb, I hope you have a great weekend and don't get too cold there. Gabby should be nice and warm in the hug a bub too. I wish it were that easy to say something to my cleaner. Only problem is she's a good friend of Mums and I don't want to upset the apple cart IYKWIM.
Yep I have the formula warm, I don't think it's a temp thing, more like a "it's not my booby" thing for her.

Sarah, fingers crossed for you that your night isn't too bad. I think I've given up on getting a good one. I'll settle for one that's not too bad too.

Finally got Tehya back down around 8.30ish. She screamed most of the time she was awake. I ended up taking her in for a bath with me to try and settle her down, it worked great til we got out of course. Lots and lots of cuddles and booby later she finally settled. She must be exhausted from all the crying.

I have updated her page. Yes, again. I got some pics done of her last week at the shopping centre so I put them on there. Also I just got another one of her newborn portraits back from the lab. It had some work done it and I think it turned out great.

P.S. It's the black and white one in my hands

    Take care
    Trish

That's funny Sarah that you were reading our old posts, makes me want to go see as well now.

Was I the first? I can't remember? I remember there being heaps of us, what an exciting couple of months that was. I think I got mine on June 6th? Gosh, long time ago and now I have a handsome little man here. Lucky us.

Deb - have a wonderful time and I hope Neil sells heaps and Gabby has fun. Also meant to say your scrapbook pages look great!

Sarah - have a great weekend with all your parties! I am also thinking of cutting my hair but really short... Matty is know in the habit of pulling on my hair and it does hurt and I hate wearing it up. You could always get it cut in stages? See how you go? Thanks for the tip on Targets sale.

Trish - I love the photos of Tehya - that one of her in your hands is really gorgeous. She has such a lovely smile

Alex had me up every 2½ hours last night and only took 70mls each time.

Hope everyone and their little ones are doing well.

Aww Lesley!! I remember when Emily was feeding every two hours, the midwife told me "don't feed her until it's been 3 hours". So I nursed her and she screamed the place down for an hour... but after that feed she fed every four hours . My point is as you can see she is only having little drinks most feeds so maybe she is just topping herself up... maybe make her wait and giver her a full feed and maybe her intervals will increase.
I hope you get a break... don't go insane while Anthony isn't there, you can do it !! Remember we are here, or call someone if it is too much. Also there are plenty of help lines that you can call and vent too at any time of the day.

Sarah, I remember our ' We Want More BFP Tanty Chat' ... seemed to work, Nell had just gotten her BFP.
How was your night? I hope your little prince had a good one and gave you a break . Have a good time tonight.

Trish... I can't remember how I stumbled across BB, I think it might have been when I was researching conception, but I am glad I did . I hope Teyah had a good night. I haven't peeked at her new pics yet, but I bet they are sweet!!

Welcome Michelle!! Has it been a month already?? Geeeez! That's flown by!

Went to my niece's 6th b'day last night at the bowling alley, I left Violet with Wato
Had Pizza afterwards, so it was a good night . Violet selpt from 9:30 till 8am . It's just a sham Wato snored!!
Didn't it **** down last night?? Well it did here . Bout time too! It's been sad seeing all the crops sown in dust! Something for the farmers to smile about

Tanya - The Banana cake turned out well, thanks to Kathryn`s recipe. Yay at the great sleep Violet had, shame about Wato snoring though. Can you send the rain up here, we need it badly.

Lesley - So sorry your having a rough time and all your nightmares must be awful. I`m sure you`ll cope well without Anthony, just keep thinking I can do it, I can do it.

Michelle and Alex - Welcome to the 1 - 3 month thread.

Deb and Sarah - Have a great weekend.

Fi - I`m sure your having a great time in NZ, hope Jenna is well and a good little girl.

Welcome Mark, Jess and Kristanna, hope your all well. How`s Jess, recovery well from her c/s I hope.

You girls and your talk about your BFP`s from last year, makes me want to go and have a look. Well it was only Lesley and myself who got ours in August, me 1 day before Lesley and I`d only been with BB for 2 weeks, found it by looking up conceiving then I thought it was a great way for my 2ww to pass by quickly, I remember asking about all my symptoms and most of you thought I may have been ovulating but it turned out I was already pregnant and had preg symptoms immediately, I was hoping it was preg symtoms but thought it must be too early.

Mark wanted to watch the incredibles last night, we`d brought it for Alister`s Birthday but his Mum had also brought it for him and he saw it before coming for the weekend last week, what an effort to try and watch a movie, we haven`t watched anything since before Matthew arrived, Matthew decided he wanted to watch it too, no bed time for him, finally got him down at 11pm, he did sleep for 4 3/4 hours after that.

    Hey Girls

I am here......just. Have been in hospital all week after dh thought he had lost me. Last Sunday night I was feeling really off and just not there. During the night I got up to get a drink of water to try and feel better and next thing I knew dh was sitting by my side in casualty at the hospital. Turns out I caught a staph infection at the hospital when I gave birth to Pheonix. A huge abscess had grown in my bikini line (which I thought was an infected ingrown hair) and was full of poison. Well it burst internally and as you can guess I was in a bad way. They had to pump me full of antibiotics via drip and surgically drain it. It is so painful and labour now seems like a breeze painwise. Sorry to be so graphic but it was full of black gunk that smelt so bad, never smelt anything so bad in my life. Now I am on massive doses of antibiotics that have given me severe thrush so here I am having a whinge and so not a happy camper.

Better lift the spirits of this post now.

Pheonix is doing great. Only thing bothering me is that the specialist at the childrens hospital has put her on solids already. She only has rice cereal with pears but I feel it is way too early. The screaming has totally stopped since though. As of 10 days ago she weighs 11lb 13 and 58 cms. She is growing so fast. She is sleeping from 8-9pm until 6-7am everynight now.

I have had a quick look at everyones websites and all I can say is WOW the babies are all looking so beautiful. I havent updated mine yet I need to find a program that will reduce the photos as I keep getting error messages saying that the pic is too big. Does anyone know of a good one?

My older 2 kids are away with their grandparents so its a bit easier to recouperate.

    Hi Guys,
Just a quick hello from NZ to say we arrived and everything is going really well. After an atrocius week with Jenna, she has been a perfect angel since Friday morning when we left for the airport. Slept all through the airport and takeoff. Woke up for a feed and a play, then back to sleep for the landing and through the airport again. Could we have been luckier!!!
Since getting here she has been sleeping and feeding and playing so well, Gramma is getting lots of nice cuddles. Bloody typical!!!

Anyway - we are off to go shopping. Gramma wants to buy a bouncer for her and some toys. She figures she will have more grandkids (not sure who's going to provide them......) so its all an investment!

Hope all else are well - I will gt on at some point and find this out, but in the meantime have to get back upstairs so we can have some cooked brunch.

Great to hear from you Kayla. What an ordeal! Sounds bloody awful! Glad to hear you are doing better tho.
I'm glad that Nixie is doing well, sounds like her sleeping patterns are going well

Fi, sounds like you are having a great time, great to hear the flight was no trouble... I am sure it could be a nightmare with a screaming baby!!

Dee, what type of farm do you have up there? It's mostly cropping and grazing here, there college also has a dairy farm, not sure how many head they have tho.

Well it seems like the colic has gone (knock knock). Another great night from Violet... 10:30 till 7:30. I am tired tho. Woke up to Em screaming @ 1:30, I waited for Wato to fix her but he didn't (he was still up). So I got up fixed her and went to check on Wato... he was asleep on the couch... it really gets on my nerves that he can't come to bed and sleep!! He has to stay up so long that he falls asleep on the couch every night! Then he came to bed and started snoring so I cracked 'em big time!! Made him get out and sleep on the couch. Even tho Violet has not woken for two nights even for her dummy, I have had broken sleep...grrrr! What I'd give for my own bed! I have to say I hate sharing a bed...bluh!!

    Hi all.

Jess and Kristanna are both doing well. Jess had a few problems after the c-section - a slight wound infection and some bruising in the uterus, so she was very sore and immobile for a few weeks. Meaning that I got thrown into the deep end and had to learn pretty quickly how to care for a newborn I think I'm doing okay though, I feel a lot more confident now. I think it's a good thing that she is a big baby, I wasn't so scared of "breaking" her as she isn't as tiny as other babies I'd held.

Kristanna's sleeping patterns seem to be settling down slowly - she has had a bit of colic now and then so has had some screaming nights. She is seeming to alternate lately - one night she will sleep between 6 and 8 hours, and the next night she'll be waking up every 2-3 hours. Hopefully she will settle in a bit more soon.

We think she has a bit of reflux? She has a bit of a throw up now and then, usually followed by a screaming session. Does this sound like reflux? Anyone have any tips to help avoid or control this?

Anyone else have a tongue poker?? Kristanna likes to poke tongues at everything. It's quite cute. I took her outside to put her into the car the other day and she was squinting and poking tongues at the sun...funny to see. She is getting more vocal each day, starting to make some rather interesting noises.

Sorry for raving on, I am just finding this whole experience so exciting and full of wonder.

OK, back to post properly having read all the posts I missed!!!

My BFP?? I was pregnant when we went to Vietnam, (due for AF the day after we got there) but nothing showed up. Hoped we were, but the test was done when we got back from holiday about 2 weeks later. So I think mine was in August, but should have been July. I found BB after searching for sites to help me out with pg and exercise!

Lesley - I have thought that same thing sometimes with Jenna " I'll say the words - no I musn't - Goblin King etc...." I even have a little red and white striped jumpsuit that is very similar to little Toby's in the film! I hope Chloe is getting better for you.

Deb - pleased to hear the job is going well. At least it will bring in some extra cash right?? And I hope Neil had a lovely birthday. Hope you guys are having fun at the lastest muster too!!

Trish - I checked out your photos - they are great, especially the new one in your hands. Its funny how people keep saying how small Jenna is - but she's got 30% larger since birth!! Hopefully Tehya keeps on getting healthier.

Kayla - you poor thing!! Liek Trish, that nasty cloud above your house has got to break up and move on. No more nasties for you!!

Sarah - did you end up buying any new toys?? We bought a cool new bouncer today for Jenna. She's already loving it but unfortunately it has to stay in NZ. All Gramma's stuff gets put into the cupboards until the next grandkid arrives. But its good, cause Jenna is sleeping in a really nice new portacot. And sleeping for 8 hours at least!! Yippee!!

Nell - I love your scrapbooking pages. And Matthew is such a little cutey. I must remember to get some more feetprint from Jenna before they grow too much.

Tanya - love all your photos too - Specailly Violet with the sunnies on!!

Right - better go, apparently missy-moo is summoning the cow for more tucker!!

Fi - Sounds like your having a great time and Jenna is getting spoilt, glad the plane trio went well for you all and yippee for Jenna sleeping for 8 hours plus, that must be wonderful.

Mark and Jess - Glad your 2 girls are doing well Mark, c/sections aren`t pleasant are they, I was given an antibiotic intravenously for my c/s to prevent infection in the cut or where the spinal block goes in, apparently it`s more common to get an infection where the spinal block is administered then where you are cut but they do it as a preventative - Was Jess given an antibiotic as a preventative? Wow at Kristanna sleeping for 6 - 8 hours. I`m sure Sarah can give you lots of tips on reflux babies, I think there`s also a thread here on BB for reflux. Matthew found his tongue when he was approx 2 weeks and had to keep poking it out, he doesnt do it so much now.

Kayla - How dreadful, I`m glad your feeling better now. I also had a staph infection but it was 1 week before Matthew was born, it was in my groin, thankfully I mentioned it to the OB as it was so very painful to walk, he put me onto antibiotics, it went black and took weeks to heal.
