Was very confused for a minute when I visited the April thread and realised it was locked - I can't believe we're into May already! Time flies when you're having fun...
Hooray for Yasin's swimming lesson, dachlostar. It's wonderful that there are only 3 bubs in the class - did they plan it that way, or didn't many enrol? Either way it works out well for you. I'm sure you'll have a great time when it's your turn.
Hope Jay's party goes well, mooshie. So many people! Hope it wasn't too much of a drama. I read somewhere that you should invite 1 child for each year old the child is, eg. 2 kids for 2, 3 kids for 3. I know that for Charlie's birthday there will probably only be one other bub because I only know one couple with children. Anyway, I'm glad that the parties went well and hope that your house wassn't destroyed in the process!
Really sounds like Jessica's on the move, Michelle. I know a one year old who is RUNNING already (scary stuff) and Charlie is kind of on par with him as far as when he learned to sit up/crawl etc, so I'm a bit scared about when Charlie will start walking. Part of me says, "He's such a clever little guy" but the other part of me says, "No! Then my little boy will be growing up too fast! Not to mention how bad the house will be...". He's walking very confidently around furniture and has stood up on his on a few times for about 5 seconds. Who knows when it will be...
Not much else to report. Having a nice weekend with DH - no rehearsals! Although I have a gig tomorrow through the day as it's a public holiday up here. I think DH and Charlie are going to come along, so that should be nice. Charlie has been invited to his first party - the little boy who runs (see last paragraph) is turning one on Thursday and they're throwing a party for him on Saturday. Should be lovely. Charlie will have a ball playing with the other kids - the only time he plays with other kids usually is at the Playroom (creche) when I go to the gym.
Anyway, lots of housework to do. DH was using the computer to compose this morning, so I have been spending the last hour doing WASHING. How boring. Must keep going now.
Sorry if I missed anyone. Hope you all are having a lovely weekend.
