Yes, I am a musician, dachlostar. I am a pianist (jazz/blues mainly), and DH is a French hornist and composer. We’re hoping that Charlie might be interested in music too… he already knows what a piano is for. He’s been reaching up to play it while standing on his tippy toes for about a month now – it’s so cute! Then he turns around with a cheeky grin expecting applause… what a monkey! But you never know – kids will do exactly what they want to do. With my luck he’ll be a golfer or something! Also – I hear ya on the sleeping thing. Getting someone in through the day might be a good idea. We did that and have never looked back. Hope you find a solution that works for you.
Mooshie – sorry about the child at kinder. I know that it probably brings back a lot of memories for you. My thoughts are with you. You are a strong woman to have come out of this and I really admire your courage.
Lara – don’t stress about the crawling thing. I don’t think it’s really possible to “compare†one baby with another. There are so many variables – it sounds like she’s doing great anyway. Was it Alana who was starting to vocalise well? Charlie moves well but he hasn’t started “talking†– they all grow in different ways.
Sad news... I also just realised that I will only be in this forum for another week! Boo hoo...
Charlie has started to ‘copy’ us. He puts his hands in the air, shakes his head, blows raspberries and lays down with his head on the floor or high chair straight after we do. It is soooooo cute! Speaking of my little angel, someone needs to have his dinner soon and is getting sick of Mummy being on the computer, so I’d better dash. Will write later if I get a chance.
