oh, btw - EARPLUGS!!
dunno what we'd do without 'em in this house. the one without the kid sleeps with earplugs (AND a noisy fan going) and only for emergencies like a house fire can the one with the kid disturb the resting one!
so early in the morning, maybe your dh can don his plugs and you can rest guilt free. if he whines about them hurting his ears or something (like my dh) still rest guilt free cos they have an option, it's not our fault they didn't use it

). The person who goes to work needs to realise that it is just as hard to stay home with the kid/s, if not harder (I've done both, and it's much harder at home with kids, no question!), and we'd also like to be able to roll over while someone else takes the "noise" elsewhere, but time to put his big girl panties on and deal. (that's a phrase of a friend of mine and i've always loved it

to everyone.
Isabell refuses to sleep, fullstop. Nothing we try works, and if it does, its by fluke. I really feel like im missing something.
meg I notice when Oliver is 'over tired' it is so much harder for him to go to sleep and it seems like he is fighting it, they key is to watch for those first signs of tiredness which can be sucking on fists, not making eye contact, that first grizzle, I know there are more, but those are the main ones for Oliver, keep your chin up, you are doing a fantastic job.
