Hi Marcellus, welcome to the thread!
Don't worry, Benjamin (my little man) isn't overly mobile. Granted, he rolls around like a bowling ball, but he's not crawling yet....he can push himself commando style if he's pushing off something, but hasn't grasped the whole, digging the toes in thing yet!
BJ isn't sitting up yet (he CAN, and would be alot more stable and upright if I actually let him practise...but I don't) it was always recommended during my early childhood studies (and since, from my MCHN) that children learn to crawl, then push themselves backward into a sitting position, rather than sit, then learn to crawl...so I'll stick to that for now...Bj is mobile enough and happy enough this way so...if it ain't broke.....
Solids wise, we are on 3 meals a day including yoghurt and toast.
I can't imagine how all of the mum's are going with work...I'm so lucky to be a stay at home mum and I love it...I had a taste of what it would be like if I was at work though, on monday I had to go to the dentist, and I was taking Benjamin into my old work (a child care centre), we had to be out of the house by 8am...we left at 8:10am so not toooo bad, but gee it was a lot of work!
MGM I would guess that Rosa has had more of a reaction/symptom of a virus rather than a reaction to the cereal, as with Marcellus, I'm pretty sure that rice allergies are highly rare (hence rice cereal being the recommended 1st food for little bubbles), but thats not to say they don't happen!
We have a hectic day ahead of us tomorrow, Dr appointment to check up on BJ's ear infection at 8:45, home for a sleep (BJ not me!) then off to have photos done at 11:45 , then grocery shopping, getting care seat number 2's straps adjusted with the car seat guy (still not turning Bj round yet...its best for his neck to keep going backwards as long as possible and he's happy anyway!), home for lunch and bed (again...BJ not me) then probably taking poor DH to the chiropractor cause today he did something weird to his neck and he can't move....even after voltaron.
