Urgh, had a horrible night. At least we can confirm that Ben IS allergic to strawberries! We suspected it was strawberries as well as mangoes but weren't sure. I told mum it was okay to give him a strawberry yesterday since he's had strawberry jam lately and was fine - BIG mistake! One little strawberry and we were up all night with vomitting, fever and although I didn't see any hives, he was scratching himself all over. Went to bed at 1:30am but was up every hour. Soooooo tired today! How am I going to be able to stay awake to watch the Swans tonight?!?!

Us-well James is still not sleeping very well waking up at least 2 times a night but most nights it is more then that, so a very tired mummy here?.have also been in hospital with James as he ended up with pneumonia last month?.anyway that?s about it since the last time I popped in not much happening as you can see lol?but I am sure a lot as happened with you ladies..please fill me in?
Disgirl - DH and I did the ceremonial removal of the Swans dog collar today Bad luck on the strawberries, but least you have a definate now?

Anyhows, the biggest thing with us is that Pip's singing now, there's a toy of his that plays a tune and the first time it has a wait for a few seconds and the second time it goes "beepbeep" and he does a "beepbeep" the first time and 2 beepbeeps the second time. So cute!
Kazbah-So cute pip singing...James is a dancer is always groving around the house. James was in hospital for over a week and thankfully is now fully over it....I think he may be teething getting his canines he has all his others surprisingly even his molars.....well the first set of them anyway.....
Just a quick one again from me as dh is having his bbq today and I have to boss him around!!!!
My mum is ok, she has a oesophegeal ulcer due to the medication she has been taking for her osteoperosis. She lost alot of blood and is weak and she is scared too. She will be ok though. My little brother (18) is pretty messed up by it all and is worried about both the folks, so much so, I had him sobbing on my shoulder. Hes a hard one to crack too and wouldnt say too much.
Olivia hasnt been sleeping too well either...eye teeth...still. Am exhausted.

Well we've had an atrocious few days. Lily has been sooo sick, with vomiting, conjunctivitis and fevers for the past few days. I have been getting less and less sleep for a week now. Liam is a little ***** and isn't sleeping properly and I have no idea why. Last night I think I got all of about 3hrs sleep. Lucky I went to be at 9, or I would have gotten none. I am buggered but also over trying to get sleep. Everytime I lay down and try to sleep, someone cries. DH has been sick too. He's got bad gastro and fevers. But I'm also lucky he's been home or I would have gone insane. And I wanted 4 kidlets......ok gotta go and eat and change out of my shat-upon clothes!

Had a super lazy day...had another headache and stayed in pj's all day. Kids did pretty well just hanging around at home. So cute tonight - I got the placemats out for Louis to set the table but Dylan did it instead! He was so proud of himself!
Dh got home which was nice, I missed him and the help with the kids...
Von - So good to hear from you! So sorry to hear James was in hospital - a week is such a long time! I was in hospital with Dylan a week or so ago when he had croup - just for overnight and that was enough!!
P/g is going well - only 8ish weeks to go which is exciting!!! Feeling quite good other than having had the flu, a tummy bug and now headaches - LOL! Gosh I sound like such a sook!
We're moving house from next weekend which is super exciting as well!

Mel - Your poor mum! I don't blame your brother for being upset...it can be scary seeing your parents worried and with ill health...I hope she can get better soon...

It's so hard to expect a little bubba like that to sleep but I can understand your frustration...It does usually take them a bit of time to get into the day/night sleep habit...
I can completely relate to the not even wanting to try and sleep thing as well - I remember being so overtired that it just seemed more frustrating to get to sleep for 10min just to be woken up again...you need to use some relaxation techniques at times like that (which for me usually meant my dh giving me a shoulder rub or just stroking my hair or something calming like that)
I hope everyones on the mend soon - and most importantly that you and bubs don't get it!

Von, poor little James There's nothing worse than a sick bubba. We are not finding out what we're having. Most people seem to be guessing girl. I have no feeling one way or the other at the moment.
Kaz, the Swans loss would have been easier to take if they hadn't played good footy for two weeks. If they had continued their bad form, we wouldn't have had any expectations Yay on Pip's tooth! I'm hoping Ben will pop through a few this week.
Mel, bugger on the not sleeping still. Ben's been terrible since his allergic reaction. I am sooooo stuffed. DH has been working too so no rest for me.
Sounds like your brother is taking your folks' illnesses really bad. Would he speak to a counseller or maybe his GP? They might be able to help him deal with it.
Kel, you poor thing. Sounds like your place is really in the wars. I can only imagine how exhausted you are right now I know your mum doesn't offer great help, but maybe you really should ask her. Is there anything I can do? I only live about 15-20 mins away?
Us, well as I mentioned, Ben's been terrible with his sleep. He's only slept through one night out of the past four. I think it's a combination of his allergy still playing up and his teeth coming through. He doesn't seem to mind because he gets to nap during the day, but ME? I'm just buggered! I am sooo breathless today it's driving me nuts and a bit panicky at times too. I'm thinking tomorrow might see me too sick for work I just need a good, long nap!
What a great morning! The play centre was great and the kids had a ball! Was so great to catch up with you Mel and Kaz! The kids have grown up sooo much! Thanks Kaz for getting Dylan up the rope wall! That was harder than it looked - LOL! I didn't know if I'd recognise either of you since we'd only met up just the once but once I saw you I was alright! Hehe.
Dylan fell asleep in 3min and Louis about 15min after that so it's beautiful and peaceful in our house...I should probably have a nap too but I prob won't...although it will get me out of cleaning - LOl! If I have a read I'll probably doze off.

Hey thanks for the great morning girls. Was good to see you both and your litlle ones. Olivia fell asleep pretty much straight away, but woke up when I put her to bed 30 minutes later....and still hasnt got to sleep Luckily Adams home and I managed to vacume and mop the house....and dinner is almost done! Hopefully she will sleep tonight but going on what shes been like lately, she wont. Yesterday she didnt sleep at all, went to bed at 7pm and was in bed with us by 130am.
Mel- Olivia got a rash from eating too many strawberries on Saturday and still had a rash last night. I gave her some polaramine which helped settle it down. Hope Bens feeling better soon and sleeps through.
I am so tired and want to sleep, might lay on the couch for a bit and watch cartoons
We're all good...Dylan had his last gymbaroo today - both boys fell asleep after we got home but Dylan woke up after an 1h 45 but I gave him a cuddle on the couch and we both snoozed for another 45min! I've got to make the most of cuddles like that as he's growing up so quickly!
Been feeling a bit emotional about our move...I'm super excited but it's going to be a bit sad leaving our place - so many memories and just the fact that our whole routine as such will be gone once we move to our new place...I'm sure it will be all good!
Kaz - Yeah at having your power back - I hope you got your work done! It was fun - we'll have to do it more often!

Hi girls, sorry I've been off work again and therefore off-line (can't be bothered dealing with my ancient computer).
Ben's been terrible this week. He now has some sort of hayfever allergy and his eye is all red, swollen and weepy, he has a rash on his cheek. We haven't been sleeping at all! Grrrr! DH took the no-sleep shift last night so I could finally get some rest.
I've got so much work to do, so that's it for me today. Hope you're all well!!!!

Kaz/Mel - How are your bubbas? Louis has come down with a cold yesterday and Dylans got a runny nose today! I can't believe he's sick again already after just having the flu! I was thinking maybe it was from the play centre???
So just a lazy day for us today...My mums coming around to watch them while I have my midwife appt this arvo - didn't feel like dragging them out when they're unwell...
