Chantal, that's so sad Sorry about your Nan. Yes, I truly believe babies can pick up on our moods. Natalie is always fidgety when I am upset, and she is always most unsettled when I am tense and/or angry. Hoping you have a much better night tonight.
What a refreshing look at night-waking, Jo Yes, I suppose the late-night party is sort of amusing and you're both right, it is a whole lot cuter than crying! We had a great night last night - Natalie did 5 hours in a row... I can't remember the last time that happened. She was wide awake after the 3:30am feed, but I just cuddled her til the eyelids drooped and wacko - back to sleepybyes. So, I got a decent sleep, and I got a lovely cuddle to boot! I'm a happy mummy today.
