Oooh moving quick at them moment...
Nic and Morgan- omg what happened on House? Is it over? Is he dead? Haven't watched it for a while, but it sounds very dramatic.
Jus- you poor darling never realised your wrist gave you so much trouble. Said it before and I'll say it again, you are such a trooper. Glad you got a big nap in- bet it made you feel like a million bucks!!
kts- I found baby vicks, fess (with the nose bulb thingy- hard to figure out but great once you get the hang of it) and a vaporiser worked wonders with Ty when he was sick. Vaporiser is about $50 from the chemist. try and get one with mild steam rather than hot steam to avoid burns, that way when bubs is older you can still use it.
Lauren- I'm a lazy sposie mum, sorry. Hats off to you all who use disposables, I don't know where you find the energy.
Morgan- Happy six months olivia!! We've got five days to go until we hit that.
Bekz- Moving is so emotional isn't it? Good luck hun.
My little man looks like he's getting sick again. Very cranky with a stuffy nose. he's asleep at the moment... I'm hoping his immune system can fight it off this time before it becomes croup. Missed mum's group today and we're stuck inside. But at least it's good weather for rugging up and staying in. And I'm in the middle of a very good book, so Ty wanting to sleep and cuddle is fine with me
Hmmm... can't think of anything else to write for now. Sure I'll be back later

LoriRae - I love going to playgroup on cold wet days because no one else goes and it is not too crowded.

Nic - Why do the kids always muck up on days that you feel like crap? I hope your day gets better. Love the pic of Olivia in your signature.

Alicia - Happy 6 months to Olivia!!!

*deep breath* What an afternoon.. Olivia slept for 3 hours *yay* Dinner was delicious. I put Isaac and Jacob in the bath and got around to washing up ect. Ethan was still eating and Olivia was in the swing next to him.. hile i was wandering in and out I asked Ethan 3 times to stop swinging her. I don't like the kids swinging her and I also think if she is happy just let her be kwim? anyways I start washing up and next minute I hear BANG.... SCREAM.. Olivia was on her back on the floor after the swing had been tipped. After a quick cuddle and check she was fine.. I am so mad at Ethan.. He finally admitted what he did and that was to swing her to high.. oh she was crying he said.. Well i can tell you know I wasn't quiet. I was infact the angriest I have ever been,, Olivia wasn't crying as I certainly couldn't hear her. and for him to have knocked the swing as far as he did he must have been swinging her extremely fast and hard.. even know just typing it I feel so damn angry.. He is just damn lucky she only got the tiniest mark on her head. I think the swing took the brunt of it and her head must have still been in the seat when she hit the ground.. now I feel like crying typing that thinking how much that must have hurt her agh.. Anyways the important thing is she is fine.. was happy and smiling at me within 5 minutes.. and not long went to bed . i kept her up for a while and she was fine..

Hope you all had a much better afternoon then me

Oh Nic - poor Olivia. It's probably just the beginning.. big brothers being what they are. She'll become a tough little cookie in no time.

Oh Nic you poor thing, that's terrible. Poor Olivia. Boys....
Pretty good arvo here. Ty slept half the day away. I finished my book. Dh is doing his absolute best to make me cranky and mess up the house *thinking zen thoughts and taking deep breaths* I'm gearing up for a bad night but... Ty has a tendency to wake every hour for boob comfort if he's not feeling well... wish me luck!!
We also had a super poo tonight... all over the towel and change mat while I was getting ready to bath him... one of those three day bf poos.. and dh gagging and trying not to vomit. And i was the one cleaning it up!!!
    Night all

at your Dh.. thats so funny!!

Olivia is fine and sleeping beautifully.. I know Ethan didn't mean to hurt her it was just his attitude about the whole thing..

I have decided to record LOST tonight and just go to bed.. I am to tired to sit up till 11:30

Nic- You think that's funny, I have a massive stain on my carpet where dh was changing a stinky nappy and actually did vomit. Everywhere. And Ty lay there laughing at him. And you should have seen him chuck in the labour room when the midwife pulled the placenta out...
I know Ethan wouldn't mean to hurt his little sis. He probably feels terrible about it!! Glad Olivia is ok but.

MG I am seriously laughing at your Dh.. you made my night Thank you hehehe..

ps Ethan doesn't even care he just kept going on and on about how bad his day was bla bla bla and we should apoligis to him for being mean and yelling at him and sending him to bed.. i should add I didn't get mad at him for what he did..Well I did at first but then his attitude totally got to me.. so he got sent to bed for that not for what he did cus he would never intentionally hurt olivia

To be fair Lauren we did stop the renos for awhile so it is our fault the tiling is only being done now, but after a night of no sleep I am not really feeling up to it! Once today is over though we just need to paint (if only I could seem to make it to the paint shop to look at colours...)
Know what you mean about no time to yourself. I used to be a huge reader, but now one book is lasting me weeks - either no time, or too tired to read :-(

Horrid night here too.. Olivia woke at 1:30 and was awake till 6. or I should say I was. I felt so sick I woke Dh at 6 and said Olivia is on the couch I'm going to bed and I didn't wake again till 8:30.

She is asleep now but she has been so whiny today.. My head hurts the other boys are showing no signs of napping. not that they ever do but it would be nice..

At least it is friday so tomorrow I can just lay around in my jammies till my head is no longer fuzzy.. Thankfully Dh as home for the morning and did the school thing. he is on nights now so is aslepe now..

Reading... whats that? I read a magazine but thats it. I can't read a book anymore. My brain won't hold attention to somethng for that long..

hey, well we've been out & about all over Sydney today. Remind me if I have another child not to give it a dummy. Dunno how many times we stopped on the freeway to re-install to the whoosh of trucks rushing by! We ran late for the whole day because after Ella woke early I actually got her (& me) back to sleep & then she (&I) did a marathon run. Can't say I'm complaining about that

Picked up a bargain $5 steriliser off ebay which I need to take to Karitane next week & most exciting of all a Jolly Jumper from a friend. Put Ella in it this arvo & she was thrilled to bits, so she jumped while I sorted out scrapbooking to do tonight. Would rather go to bed so can stockpile sleep for the marathon that starts around 12 am but need to get out & have a life not to mention get ella's photos sorted a bit.

So sorry to hear about all the bad nights out there. At least we were keeping each other company. One day they'll all sleep... sleepy vibes for tonight & high hopes for a sleep in Saturday he he he

Buzzie, I know what you mean about the hormones, they're shocking. That's when I really started coming undone, when AF returned. Last week was expected AF, (hormonal, v. grumpy & stressed, and serious pain) but never came. go figure. Maybe I was hormonal cos I was ovulating. Great, another good week in the month.

Nic, you poor thing, you must have been so worried about Olivia & furious with Ethan. I know just why he got sent to bed. In my teaching days I could handle just about any misbehaviour if a kid was sorry, but when there's attitude, then I was really furious. I could see the steam coming off my computer from your post. Hope everythings back on a happy road again for you guys now.

Oh Lori, what is there to say. LMAO. Just think, he's paved the way for Ty to trash the carpet for the next few years, then you can replace it. That's what we're going to do. Hope Ty slept last night. And man, if I'm a trooper, you're a super-trooper (hmm, Abba, now don't get me started), cos I know he's up way more than Ella, only you cope so much better than me! Thanks so much for the encouragement hun, I totally appreciate it.

Have a good friday evening all.

    Hi all,
Sorry you all had bad nights. We actauuly had a pretty good one- sleep in three hour lots rather than two hourly, with one big four one one!! Yay!! And dh opted to go in the spare room so he got a good night's rest. Double yay!!
Nic- ahh, some pj time. Rest up Hope the head fuzziness clears soon.
Lauren- Hormones suck don't they? Hope you are feeling better too.
Alicia- At least it will be done soon. Think of it like childbirth- imagine the reward you get at the end
Jus- Glad you had a good day. Jolly Jumper is life saver, you'll love it. It's our current arsenic hour tool here- stops the five o'clock whinging immediatley. I'm only coping because it's been like this the whole time- I'm so used to it now I'm like whatever *shrug* I literally haven't had longer than a five hour stretch of sleep in six months and the concept of sleeping eight hours without waking is completley foreign to me by now *sigh*. I like the carpet philosiphy- I've been thinkign about getting ours professionally cleaned but you make a good point. In another six months or so they will be getting trashed hardcore so maybe i should leave it (just stop looking down!!)
    Night all
