Katkins! Stay strong and do whatever you have to do to make your life and the lives of your gorgeous children sane and peaceful. Your kids deserve to grow up in a nurturing and loving environment and if that happens to be without a Dad then so be it. Doesn't sound like he's much of a dad anyway. I wish you all the strength in the world!
    .....geez that makes me angry!

Katkins, I am so proud of you. I so understand the sleeping part with the kids. Just think if they did have something wrong, Im sure the mother would be the first one to blame.
I agree with danda post 100%.

Ash, I just hate needles given to kids. I freak . Poor little things :-(

Rock on Prama! I couldnt do anything like that. I would have a huge handicap with a baby the size of Jake.(5 kg at birth.) I would have massive cannons lifting that boy. Yikes!

Sorry about the lack of personals. Im lost since starting a new thread.

The garage sale went great in the morning, but dropped off in the arvo. Heeps of clothes went off to the salvos. Just way too much to sell.

    Enjoy the morning off.

My heart goes out to all the families whos lost someone in the war.

I have the highest respect for all people who fought for us in the war.

    How could we forget....

    Hi All
I'm back. I have been reading but not posting for the past couple of weeks. I am soooooo far behind I won't even attempt personals.

Life has been pretty chaotic but good. Luke has been great and sleeping well during the night. His day sleeps aren't so good. Can usually get a 45 minutes sleep cycle out of him but no more so during the day he seems to get more and more tired. Feeding has been going well and he is busting out of all of his clothes (damn !! have to go shopping again ).

Had needles a couple of weeks ago which went well. He screamed as the needles went in but with a bit of distraction and a cuddle soon forgot all about them. Was sleepy, feverish and a bit whingy the next day but right as rain the next.

Getting lots of giggles and goo's and ga's which are so cute. Luke is starting to hold things for a short while in his hands (once I put it there), still HATES tummy time and loves looking at himself in the mirror.

Welcome to all the new people in the thread. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hope everyone is doing well and the bubs are growing, growing, growing.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I have been way too busy!

Katkins - sorry to hear about DH. Same goes - I agree with everything danda has said.

Jacki - good to see you back, I was worried about where you had gone! DD also still hates tummy time, but I am persisting nonetheless! How gorgeous are the giggles! DD has just started giggling and I love it!

prama - I missed ACA! Such a bugger, I would have loved to have seen the story and you and Lakshman. I love the new pic you have up of him!

Hi to everyone else, sorry I am way too far behind for personals, and I am on the pc to write a speech for a wedding next week and I really should get around to starting it!

I hope everyone is going well.

    Bun xx

hehe - Poopy also doesnt enjoy tummy time, he's fine if he's on the chest, he raises his head high. but he doesnt like it on his playmat. he lies there for a min or so, doesnt try to really lift his head then starts to cry.

bun - it's on the ACA website..

Kerrie - sorry to hear things are so tough for you right now. I can't imagine how difficult for you it must be and especially with all your children. Just wanted to offer you some support and hope that things improve quickly for you soon. Do you have family nearby that can help?

Amelie had her 8 week check this week - 6.26kg so she has put on nearly 3 kg since birth! All going well and her big sister has been gorgeous too, very loving and giving lots of kisses and hugs which has been beautiful to see.

On the upside - bubs has found his voice which is so very very cute and I just love it.

On the downside - decided to sing and chirp and giggle and goo and gaa from 5.00 until 6.00 this morning in his cot. i finally got up to feed him and then he wouldn't go back down until 7.00am.

This brought the sleep into more of a day sleep rather than night sleep so only slept for his usual 45 minutes !! aaaarrrggghhh !!!

Anyone else having major problems with the 45 minute sleep during the day. Its driving me insane. He sleeps for 45 minutes then up, not ready to feed and then by next feed is due he is too tired to feed properly and then straight back to bed after feed and thenup 45 minutes later.
