Thanks for the good luck wishes. Have tested recently and had a faint pos and then a neg the next day, not sure what the go is. No big deal, we shall just wiat and see.

Jacki Alex isn't rlling yet either, he'll dig his toes into the ground and lift his bum and that's its/ Oh, he might roll off us, but nothing spectacular. I know he'll do things in his own time, I'm just impatient!

Sorry for the quick post, bbs.

    hehe, thanks minky.

he's also starting to roll in his cot. i heard him grizzling yesterday early mornig so i let him be, and then after a long while he was grizllling again so i thot i'l get up and feed him. usually when he grizzles, i get up and ahve a look, but yest i did. when i did, i almost died. he had rolled over onto his tummy and was still asleep grizzling. i felt so horrid for not looking earlier.
i didnt sleep all night cos i was worried he'd do the same last nite. i did roll over about 6am, i kept looking each time he made a noise. i still wrap him and put a sheet over him. but he manages to get his hands free. i think i will start wrapping him with his hands outside so if he rolls over he can lift his head. it was so scary.
anyone having his problem. minky you mentioned before noah does that now.

Hi Prama! it sure is scary though when they are in their cot and rolling...I used to check on Noah every 10 minutes lol..and if he had rolled onto his belly, I would flip him back over.....but of course that would wake him up...lol... now if he does it....he does it...not much I can really do about it...I find he sleeps longer on his belly. I think it took about 2 weeks before I calmed down about it and stopped checking him as often etc... We stopped wrapping him at about 8 weeks I think it was, if not earlier, its too hot up here to be wrapped, he does sleep in a grobag though as he was forever kicking his sheet/blanket off...

Hi Ash! I hope that you get the result that you want hun!

Hi Jacki! OOoh I love it when they are smiley and giggly!!! Your DS will be rolling in no time!!!

Hi Sue! Wow, that would have been a tough shift to do!! What is it that you do?

All is well here, was watching Noah today on his mat and he moves himself around, just by pushing and pulling on the mat, he started to even get up on his knees...but he has only done that twice, so hopefully no crawling just yet!!

    Better go!!

    Hope you are all well!!

    Hi Everyone,

I agree Prama -- Lakshman has changed so much!! Gorgeous bubba

Minky -- I am an Emergency Nurse and have worked in Emergency for 12years! I feel old
My hospital is having a major upgrade and we are getting a brand new emergency department and we get to move in next week!! Very exciting. I am only working the odd shift to help them out we are a bit short staffed and the money is very nice!

No rolling in the cot yet, they think they are very clever when they do though lol.
We went to a first birthday party today, lots of fun lots of kids etc. Our bubs will be having their first birthdays before we know it. I can't believe we are nearly 6 months!!!

    Enjoy the weekend

    Sue

    Hi guys.

Well, DD and I have just returned from Melbourne and we had a fantastic time! She was soooo good, barely even noticed the take-off and landing on the plane, I just gave her some water and she either drank or played with the bottle. She even fell asleep half way through the descent on the way home! We did lots of shopping and she was good as gold. Nights are still not great, but much better than they were. We managed to see the paediatrician before we left and he put her on some meds and food thickener and it has done wonders. She is a much happier girl now. The paed also said it is fine for her to sleep on her tummy so she only sleeps that way now and sleeps much much better. The most exciting thing is that on our trip she finally learnt how to roll from her tummy to her back! It has taken aaaages, she learnt to roll from her back to her tummy in May, so she took her time to learn how to get back! It's hilarious, she can move so far now and so quickly! Now I will have to start being v careful, the other night she rolled into the kitchen in about 2 seconds while I popped into the bedroom to get something! She has been so lovely and smiley and giggly lately, it really is a gorgeous age.

Prama - wow, Lakshman looks so grown up now! I love that photo. I should update DD's too.

Sueby - gees, it must be hard doing a shift like that with kids, I reckon I would struggle to do it without kids!

minky - DD has just started doing that too, she can get her legs under her but then doesn't know what to do. She has also managed to tuck her toes underneath her and briefly support herself on her hands and feet. I am so not ready for crawling yet!

    ash - good luck!

I tried DD with a rusk the other day, but she wasn't interested. She is now having one meal a day and I will soon start her on two. It is so messy!

Hi to everyone else, hope you are doing well
