Hi all, I just found this thread so hope you dont mind if I join in.
Leighton was born on the 19th Jan weighing 3.8kg (8pnd3 I think) 52 cm long. He wasnt actually due until the 4th Feb but as I had high blood pressure they induced me. Ended up having an emergency c/s as Leighton's heart rate dropped once they broke my waters.
I am really glad that this thread is here. I have been having a bit of a rough time adjusting to my new life.
Leighton is feeding really well and he sleeps pretty good at night only waking every three or so hours for a feed and then settling really quickly. I think he must already have an idea when night time is. During the day he is a bit grizzly. he is suffering a bit from colic at the moment which is really upsetting. His cry sounds like he is in so much pain and then wriggles and squirms like you wouldnt believe. We have taken him to a chiro which is really making a difference.
I dont know anyone who has had a baby (excepy my mum hehe) so may ask lots of questions and advise.
