    Hey girls

I have 1 very grumpy girl atm, shes sick and just won't tell me whats wrong so is very frustrating. I've dosed her up on panadol and making sure she has fluids, but thinking we prob have to see the doctor for antibiotics... poor thing.

Harley is ok, doesn't seem as sick, I've used fess for his blocked nose and a couple of times he has had to have some panadol.
His cradle cap has pretty much cleared up thanks to the no name baby oil, its just plain and has seemed to work well. Using some sensitive skin sorbolene atm for his skin and its starting to clear but not 100% happy with it so happy to use other options. One mum told me about bathing him in olive oil and using the dove soap as she used that with her son...what do u girls think? Also it would be the olive oil we buy in the supermarkets?

Kim I haven't come across that with Harley, hope its nothing to serious. Looking forward to hearing how your visit goes with Kirsten!

Jo, Ruby is just so adorable and I love her nickname!! So cute!!

Tash, glad your period came, and really hope you are all feeling better soon. Yay to new appliances and especially with % off them!!

Big hellos to everyone else... I'm now off to attend my sick lil girl who sounds like she is in the fridge!!

    Take care

    LOL Jo....attack baby...Ruby is gorgeous.

Hows Charlotte going now Deb...did Harley avoid the bad sickness? I personally wouldnt be using Dove soap if his skin is bad. To much purfume in it. Yes its just not olive il you buy in the shops.

Kirsten it was so lovely catching you with your and the major handsome young Ryley. I still have no idea why Zachery kept laughing at you, but you won his heart thats for sure.
Theres some pics of our playdate on my Facebook page now.

Tash next time Kirsten comes over (unless you have changed your mind Kirsten that the 2 terrors have scared you off...lol) you should come over as well...have a big play date.

AFM....tomorrow we have the 4 month check up...will be interesting to see how big Z man is. Compared to Ryley he is heavy

Hey all, just a quick one as I have to try and get some rest.

All of us are sick now except DH, and he really is a darling my hubby. He took today off to help out and will be home with us tomorrow as well. Riley has been soooooooo sick this time around, it's prob a bit more than just tonsils. We have another referral to another hosp in the city. I called today and they've asked me to call back Friday to see if he has been put in the computer yet and which clinic he'll go in, then they can tell me the wait time.

Judd is v sick today too with cough like mine. Other than that, I don't feel bad, just tired. But Judd isn't liking it much, so will see how tonight goes. We gave the older 2 painstop last night and that worked. The antibiotics are working well on P, and he was off to Kindy today with Dad. Still v tired but getting over the worst of it.

I hope the meds kick in for Riley soon. We're supposed to be going to a wedding this weekend. I really don't know if it'll happen. I REALLY want to get out of the house and have a boogy, but my Mum still have major pain since her operation, Rod's Mum is sick with bronccitis (they were our 2 babysitters). Then there's the kids being sick, which would be really hard to look after for just one person. The weddings at 5pm, so it's a shocking time, kids wise. Anyhoo, fingers crossed the meds kick in and the kids are getting over all this. 4 more sleeps, so it's a posibility.

KIM - YES I would love to catch up!! I'm not fobbing you off, believe me!! With Riley it might be hard now, as it's the lurgy season, and he's had tonsilitis 8 times since June 08, hence trying to get him in to a specialist. All I can do is try on the weeks he's OK and stick with it. It's coming on every 6 weeks, so hopefully the first week in June, he'll be clear and we can make a date then.

On the willy front - don't worry about it. If it's red and there's a line going up, then it's infected and he'll need antibiotics. This happened to P just after his third birthday, and yes there was puss, and it was yuck and sore, but it was v red also. Otherwise, it could just be stuff under the skin coming out or after his nappy being on all night, might just need an airing IYKWIM! LOL

Sure sure Tash..you just dont wanna visit (jokes hun). I feel for your family and this damn sickness...you have to be due for a break soon! Thanks for the advice on the willy front..i asked the nurse today and she said it looked fine and that the white stuff was very normal.

Now we had his check up today...i must say....Zachy loves his milk and still gaining 196grams a week...which is huge amounts! He now weighs 7.3kg, 68cm and 43cm head. On the down side she is concerned about his head....its rather flat and we really need to work on it. He has weak neck muscles too when she tried to pull him up with her hands (so bad head lag), but when he is on his tummy she said his neck is great...so go figure.

Told ya Zachery was heavier Kirsten!

For those that know about my troubles with Chelsea i have been told today she is a 'Challenging child' and now needs to be referred to the Toddler Development team. Nurse thinks theres more to it then just the usual Toddler antics.....so least i know its nothign ive done wrong...i just have a DD thats challenging!

Jasmine went well with her check up as well, but the nurse thinks she is putting her jaw out?? I dont know how or have noticed it, but i was told to keep an eye on it. She is now 12kg and 86cm tall.

So yes..thats my round up for the day. Tomorrow im off for my 90 minute hot stone massage and CANNOT wait!!!

    Hey girls

Sorry I've been MIA... just get so busy, hardly have time to get on here as much as I would like to.

Harley still has the excma, his skin isn't as red and is starting to lose the dryness, his forehead is the worst part and his head is pretty dry... been just soaking him in olive oil in the bath... and using sorbolene/paw paw cream on his excma... but really thinking of getting this stuff from inner health for excma, it goes in his bottle and stops the excma, is a bit pricey but I'll do anything for him! You can tell he is itchy cos of all the scratches on his face and head... hes also lost a bit of his hair.
He loves Charlotte, and she always has him laughing, she can be a bit rough but I think shes learning not to be. I think the 2 of them will be best friends, well until they get to teenage hood hehe!!

I've been good, my panic attacks are definately under control... Having lots of fun with Charlotte, although shes been pretty sick lately...hoping she will be ok for day care tomorrow!

So is anyone thinking more kids, I know Tash you aren't...and Kim I'm not sure but any of you first time mums wanting to go again? I know it won't be any day soon but down the track or the next few years?
As much as its been tough this time around, I'm still keen for one more!! Will see how we go!

Hope you are all well, I know Kim and Kirsten have had fun lately! So happy for you girls

Well I can hear Charlotte banging down the door, better go check on her!! Take care everyone and give your beautiful babies a big cuddle from me!

Hi everyone... We had a fantastic weekend in Adelaide! Larfissa loved all the attentin she got from tris' huge family. It was sad to come home and go back to work on tuesdsay morning!

We are definitely going to have more kids!!! I coouldnt imagine Larissa being an onlychild, she has too much fun playing with other kids!! We aren't sure when we want the next one, just want to get ourselves somewhere else to live and save up a bit first... and get my visa of course! I also want a year where im not pregnant or breastfeeding so I can drink at xmas and my birthday without all the hassle of expressing!

We have started Larissa on rice cereal... she really loves it, eats so much of the stuff! I'm not sure when we should introduce something new but shes happy at the moment so i wont bother. Any tips on what to introduce and when?

Deb we are having another bub for sure...waiting til next year more then likely, as im aiming for another boy and a summer bub again

Steph id be introducing either pumpkin, potato or sweet potato next......do your vegies rather then fruit. Maybe start her when she is 5 months old...thats only a week away. Vegies are more important the fruit...kids love fruit so that eat it as its sweet then you may have trouble getting Larissa to eat vegies

Thats great news girls that you will try again, I sure hope I can join you... Would be great if we all fell preg at the same time again...but I'm kinda hoping to fall pregnant so I have a winter baby or Spring baby...just didn't like being heavily pregnant in the heat and then having a newborn in the heat!

I've been thinking about solids and I'm glad you mentioned about the vegies Kim, I would of gone straight to the puree fruit!! Just don't know when but, he is going well on the bottles atm!

My reasoning behind wanting a summer bub is very silly Deb, I want (and pray its a boy) to be able to use Zachs clothes again. The girls clothes got good use as they were born Oct/Nov so was in the same kinda weather. So i want to be able to get 'full use' out of Z's clothes too! Of course if its not a boy then that theory is out the window.

Zach is happy on bottles to and def no need for solids yet, besides that, he is gaining 200 grams a week atm which is more then enough and solids would just make that number huge.

Z decided lastnight to go to bed at 10....which was fine....except he wa still chatting at midnight...he dozed off until 1245 when we went to bed then wanted to play! He was back to sleep by 130am....and then i forgot to set the alram so we woke at 910am.....i had to race around getting the girls organised for FDC...mean while Mr Z kept on snoozing until 945!

Kim - I'm a bit shocked about Chels. I know I've only seen her twice but both times she was lovely and lively, yes, but to me, totally normal for her age.

Let me know how you go.

Now, so far, we are all well, but haven't arranged another visit as we've had major car drama's. Will be getting new car next Tues so will arrange a meet up again soon after that OK.

Zach isn't as heavy as Judd but is a touch longer. Judd didn't sit up well in his test either, but that was because he was looking at the big red fish hanging from the ceiling. He does it at home fine. If he's good on his tummy, that's the main thing anyway. I wouldn't worry.

Judd is nearly rolling from his back to his front now and is all over the floor, nearly pulling his nappy off in his moving around on this back - v funny!

    Sorry no more personals.

Happy 5 months to Zachery and Harley!!

Well i have a very sick Z man. asty cold, mucous poos, chesty cough and vomits after every bottle and bris up lots of pleghm (sp?). He still hasnt had his 4 month needles either. Was going to tomorrow...ill see how he is first.

Its been nice having Kirsten and Ryley stay over a few times since i last posted...LOL

Tash i had the toddler team come today...meh...they are getting me to try 123 Magic program, a time out thing. Wont work, but im desperate to try anythig right now. They are giving her 2-3 weeks to improve, otherwise she will be booked in for a full developmental and behavioural assessment.

Oh girls wat a day I've had

Started with Harley being really unsettled and found out why, his back was really bad, like red raw and blistered...no wonder he was so upset...

Then Nae (my sis) and I took the kids down to the Coffee Club for a late brekky...Charlotte had been full of energy so I took her outside the shop and out the front of coles to run around, well she was all happy and then started running for the cars...so I put my arm out to stop her and she tripped and fell and hit her head on the steel pole... I thought she was ok and grabbed her straight away, it was like she was trying to cry but couldn't breathe, then all of a sudden her eyes rolled right back and she started shaking and going blue, I just screamed for help and these 2 ladies came straight away and got her into recovery postition and found a pulse then after a few mins she came back to us...I was a complete mess along with Nae... and this lovely lady just calmed me down, once she came to it, she just wanted me and wouldn't let go...they called an ambulance and we went off to the hospital for a few hours just to make sure she was ok...was the most scariest thing ever, I really thought I had lost her, my worst ever fear... but shes ok now, she was a bit quiet for 20mins or so then started coming out of it... then yeh she was back to herself... Never want it to happen again
I got the images going thru my mind..scared its going to make me panic and have an attack but just keeping positive and looking at her, shes here with us! My nana must of been up there helping her!

Got an appointment with my neighbours doctor for Harley tomorrow... hopefully will start getting answers for his skin!

Kim: Hope Zach is real better soon. So glad you and Kirsten have been able to see each other!! Can't believe our boys are 5months already!
Will let you know how his appointment with the doctor goes...I just want him better!!

This group is very quiet, but I guess we seem to catch up more on Facebook lol!!

Well Im going to head off to bed, I just feel so drained after my day, Just keep having images of Charlotte rolling thru my head... I hope none of you girls ever have to experience it at all!!

    Hey all,

Well my PND is back. more anxiety based this time. seeing psych at Berwick. Been good cos I they just charge medicare, and only deal with PND and anxiety due to pregnancy.

Kim - would love to catch up. How does Monday arvo suit next week? What's 123 magic? Will have to fill me in next time we see each other. Wanted to catch up the other week but P's friend from Kindy had suspected swine flu, and i wanted to wait the 7 days incase we got it. nothing yet, but p has cold again and r seems to be brewing tonsilits again. Ahhhhh Seeing GP tomorrow for my depression, so will ask him to look at r's throat and let me know what he thinks.

R keeps getting out of bed and roaming around the room with the light on. Taking us ages to get him to sleep at night now. Any sugestions on getting him to stay in his bed at night would be greatly appreciated.

Deb - OMG! What a scare that would have been!!! Do you know what happened to make her react that way? Was it the bang on the head or whack to her throat do you think.

Hope you get onto H's skin. Judd has patches of dermatitis (I think) but nothing too bad. He's watching us eat and when I hold him and I'm drinking or eating, he watches me put hand to mouth etc. He'll be ready to have solids soon, but want to wait as long as I can. 1 because he still has tongue reflex, where he pushes it out and also, because if they have skin issues, the food can really make it worse. As he's isn't too bad at this stage I want to hold off. I ate nuts this pregnancy and that's a big no no for skin issues. Did you eat nuts with H?

AFM - we got a new car the other week as Dh's car started to really play up and were told by RACV that the head gaskett was about to go, plus the ignition switch was playing up again. So we got an 06 Commodore Sedan. V nice, but would have like a wagon. The only wagon's we could see at the moment were ex fleet cars with heaps of K's, so went the sedan. Now stressed about the extra finance. Might look at putting it on the house next year, but really don't want to cos you end up paying more in the long run.

    Keep in touch chicks.
