Kel - thanks for the tip, I have asked the Bear to bring some home tonight. Well the little one is fast asleep and the Bear is out, my mother has gone home, so I'm going to potter around doing a little bit of housework and catch some z's
to all, hope you're having a relaxing day!

    hey all =)

I'm still around. Have been reading all and attempted a couple of BIIIIIIIIG posts addressing one and all only to get the usual errors and lost posts, so decided to try again later (and now is later!). Since the site can't be trusted to actually post what I write, I'm not going to do a big personals list... Will some other time when I'm more confident that it's actually going to happen - think I've chosen my times perfectly for when this site was having issues!!

Things going a bit better here. We're back on the boob, although still a bit sore. Have been to a breastfeeding day stay workshop thingy and it helped A LOT, although still getting some blistering on the tips of each nipple during feeds. The MACH nurse said it's because I'm feeding for too long, but it happens whether I let DD stay on for 3 mins or 30, so who knows... Still expressing a couple of times a day to give things a rest, and on the BB all other times. We're getting through =) Spending lots of time lurking on the Australian Breastfeeding Association forums!!

Still completely smitten =)))) Alyssa is just incredible =)

Anyways, back off to be a mummy =)

Waves and good wishes to one and all!

    Evening all,
SW - Welcome back sweet, good to hear that your little one is back on the booby.

Belle - Izzy is okay, she has been grizzly today and sleeping heaps but not really feeding as much. She had a feed at 10 then 3pm I tried to give her some another at 7pm but only took 40mls and is now sleeping.. So I will wait till she wakes to give it another go. How is Tara??

Kell - Izzy settles with my DH too which is lovely, but I try not to bother him during the week as his got to go to work in the morning.

Well I think that I'll go to bed early tonight as I'm exhausted before Izzy's next feed. I'll BBL tomorrow. Have a great night all..

Isn't it funny that we don't have time to chat as much as we used to.. hmmm.. I wonder why...

Belle - that sounds like a lovely sunday ritual... I want to live near a park too!!!! We have crappy parks up here - and a pretty crappy bakery near us too!!!! Can we come live with you? hehe I hope Tara's poo pains aren't too scream filled for you!!!!!

Kel - did you get the colic relief stuff?! I still can't believe no screaming here!!!!! I'm amazed.. really amazed....

    SW - *mwah*
Thats all that needs to be said.

Mez - An early night hey.. hmm... what are those again!?!? PMSL... we were going to try and get to bed by 9.30 (or at least one of us and the other does her dream feed) but there is soooo much to organise for DH to go to work tomorrow, plus I think my mum wants DS for a bit of the day so have to organise his stuff, plus more washing, nappies to put on a website to sell, clean up the bombshell of a house after DS trashed it this afternoon... its neverending!!!!! (But at least I got the sheets washed today.. now THATS something ... lol)

Ahh well... better go clean up the loungeroom in preparation to get trashed again tomorrow!!!!!!

Belle - the food markets we go to are in Orange Grove Public School in Lilyfield. They are on every Saturday and the fruit and veg is amazing, there is nice cheese, pastries, bread, home-made mustards, bush flower honey and all that good stuff. They also have a second hand baby clothes stall where I bought some very cute stuff for DD yesterday and ALL the baby clothes are $5 each. We go every Saturday so let us know if you are going sometime maybe we could meet up?
For Delis, the Bear suggests Delanti in Neutral Bay, Victoire in Darling St Balmain has a nice (but small) deli section and there are some excellent Italian delis in Haberfield.
SW bummer about the site crapping out on you, it always does that to me (although I have been lucky and haven't lost any big posts) then as soon as the Bear sits down in front of my computer hey presto it's back again LOL.

Kel - yay for sleep through!!!!!!!!! woohoo way to go missy moo!!!!! My little miss fed at 8.30 then woke up at 1.30 stayed awake till about 3 and then slept till 5.30 - when both of them woke up.... she's back asleep now and DS is watching the little red tractor on DVD. Hopefully that stuff works as well for Keira as it does for Mehkelti cos it has made such a difference in this house.

My cat is going spastic in the study.... I wonder if DH fed them before he left... hmmmm... Going by the way he is trying to eat the catalogue under his bowl - I think not....

First day here for me too by myself with the kidlets....and its a crappy, rainy looking day so no outside time either.. dang it!!!!! Will have to keep Dora on all bloody day... lol

Pixie - baby clothes sound like a bargain... I like cheap... I live for cheap... lol (except when it comes to cloth nappies!!!) Have you tried any of yours out yet mate?

Sal - Huge Hellllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooo to you.... lucky you getting to go back to sleep... ahhh... the days of only having one child to look after.. how I MISS them already... pmsl....

    Well my diet started today...
Have to lose most of my pregnancy weight before going back to work in 10 weeks time. I've already cheated and had a coffee this morning.. pmsl... was supposed to be tea - but holy moly I was up at 5.30 - somethings gotta give!!!!! (not to mention all the leftover chocolate that is in the fridge.... hehehehehehehe)

Thats all from here. I probably won't get a chance to check in before tonight - so have a great day everyone!!!!!

    Morning

Well I have to say last night has to have been our worse night since we came home. I think little Izzy had a belly ache cause she was just screaming the whole night. I gave her some Infants friend but I really don't know if it worked as she really didn't have many feeds (well not her full feed of 120mls). She did poo like 4 times though only little ones. I am so exhausted today I think I'll get as much sleep as I can when she is asleep.

Kell - woohoo on Keira sleeping for you guys last night, that is wonderful news I wish that would happen in our household Oh and on her smiles. Our little princess has been smiling for a week now it's so cute.

    Mel
    - you can do the diet sweet, and if you slip a little that's okay too. I'm sure you'll be looking gorgeous in 10 weeks time. Good luck today with the two kids I'm sure you and Kell will do just fine.

Skittlebub - Hello and have a lovely sleep see you when you are back on line.

to pixie, jess, missy, zee, belle, tasia, sw and everyone else. Hope your little ones are behaving

Mez - I'm sorry you guys had a rough night... if the infants friend doesn't work, I highly recommend colic relief - makes them fart like nothin else.. lol... I hope her poos don't get too tiny and tough - I'm on the watch for them myself cos little miss GRUNTS like nothing else when poopin..

    Sleep well today..

Mel - thanks sweet, if it doesn't work I think I will be buying the colic relief. Her poos are still like a mustard colour and soft (runny) looking just some amounts of it. Izzy GRUNTS too when she does #2s. I think I'll start writing down Qs I want to ask the MHN cause I really don't know what to do to help her, poor darling.

Mez - when DD was grunting just before and looking a bit uncomfortable (like it was hard to push out) I just lifted her legs to her chest a few times - like you do if they have lower wind and can't get it out.. it helps their poo come out too
(Now you know what to do for yourself if you are on the loo strugglin to push one out.. lmao)

Mez.. oh sorry you had a bad night hun. I agree with Mel. Try the Brauer Colic Relief. Not sure if thats what helped us last night (as for the past week + every night has been bad until now).. but yeh the Infants Friend didnt seem to work for us, and we were giving it before every feed. Oh thats great your getting smiles. Theyre so nice hey. Rest up today honey.

Mel.. haha yeh i have a few DVDs lined up too. atm hes watching In The Night Garden, but have BoohBah and Wheres Boo, plus his Dora one & Diego & mickey all ready to go hehe. Good luck with your diet. Oh i agree.. when you have nights like that you deserve a coffee! Im glad the colic relief is working so well for you guys. Makes such a big difference when theyre happy too. Hope it continues in our house too.

Oh Keira grunts too when doing poos.. even though theyre soft. Jesse did too.. think its just them doing a poo?

We also put Keira in her room for the first time last night. She had been in the cradle outside out bedroom door (which is kinda the entrance to the house area). Mum was in her room until now. I put hre back in bed when she was looking like nodding off just before, put some music on for her and just went and checked and shes out! SWEEEEEEEEEET AS! I really hope this baby stays and that grumpy one we've had before doesnt return!

    Hi ladies....

Just wanted to pop in and say hello

I don't have time for personals as i'm surposed to be getting dressed for a clinic app. so hopefully when DH gets home i can come on and do personals.
i pop on every now and then and have a read but time is scarse these days so don't get to post. its funny tho, someone on here always asks the same questions as i have and i get great advice from your answers to them , so thanks.

this morning was a nightmare with 3 screaming babies for about 45mins so my sanity is about to crash into a wall but we are doing ok.

I really miss coming on here for a chat.

    better go
    take care

    Hi.

Kell - Good to hear Keira is sleeping great. The sleeping alot in the night is awesome.
Hayden has been doing big long sleeps during the night for a few weeks, but I keep thinking he is going to change. He gets fed around midnight, then doesn't wake until after 6, sometimes even makes it till after 8. Today he had a feed at 6:30am, then went back to sleep until 10. It was good, cause I dozed and watched cartoons with Elijah, like we used to do before Hayden was born.
My DP went back to work today, and I was so sure I'd have a bad night with Hayden just cause it's just me getting up, but it was all good.

Mez - I hope you get some rest today and Izzy has a better night tonight.
Haydie grunts a bit with #2s aswell, but they're soft, so idk.

Ugh. I'll be back later with more personals. I finally sit down and go to post and Hayden wakes up. It's always the way isn't it. Lol.

Mel, Missy, Pixie, Kristy, Skittle, SW, Belle and everyone else.

    xoxo.

Mum went home this morning so I hope to be able to pop on now at least once a day!!!

Kellxx- OMG your so lucky , I wish Lucas slept that long. He also has been smiling for a few days aswell.

Mary- Sorry you had a terrible night, I so know how you feel as Lucas has only just started to sleep a few hrs during the night.

SW- I used to get that when i would try and BF Laila, one of the reasons why I gave up BF her when she was 5 days old. I got told it was due to poor attachment.

Tenny- Eeeeek lucky girl, hopefully Hayden keeps sleeping like that.

Mel- Dont blame you for having a coffee hun!!

    Belle
    - Did you get my txt the other day?

Well BF is going great, 3 weeks tomorrow (made it to 5 days with DD), the last 3 nights he has finally been sleeping a few hrs at night so im feeling abit refreshed..who would of thought id get used to not sleeping LOL. Smiling heaps, has been the last few days. Um... sleeps great during the day but then I have Laila to look after and house duties.

    Hello everyone else

Kel for your little princess sleeping through the night! how good is that!
I think I would still wake up - I seem to wake up in the middle of the night to feed her anyway!
Mel, we have been belt-feeding sposie's on to DD's butt since she got home! Once she went through three nappies in a single nappy change! It seems to be slowing down now from a more or less perpetual stream of poo so I've got a BBH magicall ready to try on her when it's got more than a 50% chance of lasting half an hour! LOL
Got that pawpaw ointment today and that is looking good. Went out shopping with her this morning and she slept through the whole thing.
big to all, sorry no personals as my brain is a bit fried today (wonder why? LOL) and little miss needs a bath!
    to all
