    woo hoo - I'm first!

Mini max - the choice survey also highly rates the woolworths select nappies - might have to try those next time

Saffi - thats a great idea for tummy time, I'm going to give it a go myself

Rebecca - I think Tahlia would be asleep for over 10, but not 16 hours. She would be awake for at least 1 hour for every feed, and some days she feeds 7 or 8 times

    Hey all!

It is so hot and humid here! I've had a yucky headache today and realised that I get this same headache every Friday! How weird is that? I have had it for the last 4 Fridays. I was feeling really tired and sick earlier with it so when the boys were asleep I had a nap and it definitely made me feel a lot better.

Kieran has been sleeping so well during the day this week. I think it is because of the new routine that we have stuck to for the last week, it seems to work really well for us and Kieran seems so much more settled. He seems happier during his wake times too. He is such a smiler! I have a great time having chats and smiles with him, he tries to laugh too, it's so cute!

Re: nappies - I get mine directly from a manufacturer who sells bags of seconds. I can't find a thing wrong with them and I get a bag of 100 nappies for $10. They are so good and we never have any leaks. I use Aldi nappies at night because they are a little bit bigger and they are fantastic, I highly recommend Aldi's nappies.

Rebecca - I think Kieran sleeps up to around 15 hours during the day. He is such a sleepy head, I think he is doing all his growing while he sleeps! Everytime I look at him after a nap he seems longer!!

Saffi - What a great tummy time idea, I will have to try it. Kieran doesn't last long on his tummy on the floor, I think it tires him out quickly.

MiniMax - Wow, what an awesome sleep Max had last night!! I hope he keeps it up for you!

Wow - I think I am lucky if I get 10 hjours of sleep from her! I just find it so hard to keep her asleep! She wakes up after 40 mins of course and then wont settle back to sleep
Might keep her arms out of her wrap for her first sleep tonight and see if she can sleep longer then!

    Hi All,

Busy in here today! Apart from my modern cloth addiction I have lso tried lots of brands of sposies and I also think the Woollies ones are great for the price. At the moment I am trying the You'll Love Coles ones, about 56 for $15? They are OK not great though. I use them very occaisionally though, mainly when its been raining and I am running out of cloth or when we travel.

For Sydney ladies there used to be a good warehouse at Castle Hill that sold boxes of 100's or 110's seconds nappies. Out of the 100 I would get maybe 1 or 2 that were missing a tab or something, really good value at around $30.

Amara seems to be getting in a routine. Waking at 5am, feed, sleep to about 8am, feed, play to 9.30-10am, top up feed and then a sleep usually to 11-12noon. Then the afternoons can get messy and there may be more than one feed in there LOL! Though a few days now she has also had an afternoon bigger sleep of a couple of hours. Feeds around 6pm The she is usually mental from 6pm to 9.30-10pm, but after that late feed say 10.30-11pm she sleeps to 5am - SWEET!

Today she has been woken up twice by Miss E GRRRRR so she was mental at about 5pm and now is having a kip, refused to feed though and I had to give her a dummy and a rockingchair rock to get her down. DH has take n MIss E to a work Xmas party so WOOT I am having a wee break. Poor E, I think she has cabin fever as we have not been out much and she is really testing me at the moment.

Sorry for the long post, hope everyone is well.

    Hello all,

Mostly well here lil mr is mostly over his gastro, he's still a bit whingey and VERY drooly though. Has been pretty good today but has decided the apocolypse is coming and no one can tell him otherwise!

I use babylove till he's in crawlers been given a million boxes so had better last him a while! Looks like I'll be changing him when I think he might possibly be wet just to use them all lol jks

Hope all is well better go walk lil mr or try and sing to him. We like irish pub songs (what do we do with the drunken sailor) and aqua at the moment, well I don't know if he likes them but they're the only songs I really know other than red robbin!

Maddi sleeps for about 14ish hours & over night she can sleep up to 7-8 hours depending on how active she was during the day.
Then she has days where she wont sleep at all & is up for at least 12 hours with a couple of 20 mins power naps.

Forgot to add their is a New young couples chat thread, for all the young mums

    30's!!!!! I wish!!

Geez is there a special place for the nearly Naughty 40's!!! Cripes I feel old in here.........2 years and I'll be there...sigh. Hence Amara is my last, I have declared myself too old for more kids.

Re the nappy sizes. In sposies Eliza used the infant forever! She was only 8kg at 1 year but very very slim so they fitted her until about 18 months, I reckon I could still get her in one of Amara's.
In the MCN's she fit mediums from about 6 months right through to toilet training, never made it to larges. Amara aka "Chubbaguts" is in mediums already.

Might go and get her weighed at a Chemist. My MCHN said we don't need to come back until 6 months.

    Night,

Your only as young as you feel ladies........ Im almost 24

We had a good day today. Seems Chels had no reactions whatsoever from her needles. Has been her usual smiley self since 10 minutes after having them done! Yippee!!

I think nappies differ for everyone!! A friend of mine has a 4 month old and says the worst nappies she has ever tried were the Woolworths select, yet my sister (who works in Child Care) says they are one of the best! Ive only tried Snugglers and Huggies - LOVE Huggies but HATE Snugglers. Im too scared to by anything else in case they are crap.... LOL
