    Morning All,

Trying to figure out how to get a ticker LOL I am a techno idiot HAAA!
Right I got to the site and made the ticker but all of the ways to show it won't work here, they just appear as the text not the ticker. Do I have to have a Platinum Membership to have one in my sig?

Leah- Anyone can have a ticker. You will be given a couple of codes, you have to copy and paste the BB code to your sig. HTH

    BBL....

Rebecca I was told as long as you give the baby 0.5ml's & under they'll be fine.
If you wanted you could ask your chemist about it
The Novolac formula's are really good as well.
  9. Babies Born October 2007 #11

    :

Leah - you will get it with the ticker...it took me a few tries too!!

The chemist dont stock novalac formulas. will see how we go on this one for a week and if necessary - will order it online.

    Heya all,

Ryan's over his needles. Took him to his pediatrician appointment about his bowed legs and twitching and he said it all seems normal to him and the twitching is normal reflex that's called something that starts with a "C" and that it isn't a problem unless he's still doing it by 4-6months of age and his leg has unbowed itself so that the angle is the same as the other leg now.

Also got told the amount of formula he's eating is fine for his weight and the fact that he's grown nearly 7cm in a month and is still growing explains it.

He's been very teary the last week I was worried he'd had a reaction to the needles but no he has a gastro bug! Tried some baby panadol but just seems to make him drowsy but helps him sleep at night and is still eating like a trooper so just have to wait till it passes poor bubs!

Trish-Thank you your lil man is gorgeous as well I love the smiles! Ryan has started to squeal and babble at us too he tries so hard to talk to us and gets cranky if we ignore him while he's talking LOL. They get such cheeky looks already :-) you can't help but adore them!

Anyways while Daddy and housemate are awake I'm going to go have a nice snooze hope all are well take care!

    Hi ladies.

After much personal debating, Lu had needles last week- Not HepB or HIB. She was asleep, woke and screamed for the time the needle was in her leg (about 5 seconds), and then stopped and went back to sleep?! Crazy child. No side effects at all.

I bought this teddy thing with a music box in it, you pull the cord and it plays "let it be" by the beetles. I put it in Lu's bed and she is asleep within two renditions every time. Gotta love the beetles!

Mo- They grow so quickly dont they. I saw a 2 week old and she seemed tiny!

Trish- Woot on a new car!

Leah- No luck with the ticker?! Lu fusses and pulls when needs to burp, and also fusses at evening feeds. Don't think she gets as much milk as she would like, that added to the fact she is tired and grumpy from the day!

Amelia- Hope you are getting over your flu

Rebecca77- You sound really down in your posts, hope you are getting some support..... also hope you are feeling brighter today. It must be so hard with a bub that is in pain all the time. Hope you get it sorted out soon.

Viv- How frustrating is it when their sleeping changes. Lu sometimes sleeps through, sometimes wakes once. She also seems to sleep for nearly a whole day every 3 days. I can't work it out.............. I think she is on a 72hr routine not a 24hr one! How is Sir J after his jabs?

Misskate- what pram do you have? ROFL at lady commenting on it, was she UTD or just interested in prams?

I still havn't bought a pram. (Using an old one given to me but is SUX to push) Any recommendations ladies?

I'm making a christmas cake and some chrissy cards today. Having a baby has done wierd things to my creative side!

    hey ange,

    i bought a childcare commuter
    Childcare Products

and have found it very good so far, after much debating about 3 vs 4 wheels and reversible handles ect, this was my fav one on the market at the time. hope that helps
  14. Babies Born October 2007 #11

    :

(i forgot to mention that the 4 lockable wheels make it easy to drive when the handles are backwards. a must if you plan on the baby facing you)

    imm update.

i'm stuffed. but aside from that, mr j is doing pretty well. he has had a mild temp but the baby panadol seems to be helping. he slept 10 hours last night again after two nights of midnight snacks. you can imagine how *awesome* that was for the boobs so... blocked ducts again! gah! treachery.

i'm praying we can empty it all out before I need those antibiotics I got the script for last time. don't want that going into jj with all the vax crap rolling round his system.

there has been no grizzle-box out of him either... the fitball methinks.

i'm wondering if my iron has taken a dive again. ...

hope everyone had a blast at the mommies' meeting yesterday. shame i missed it but i had to be on vax watch for the big fella.

amelia - i think having big legs helped jj out with the needles. he only did a quick scream too. he also did a big smiley/laugh session this morning so he's forgiven us already.

Well what a day! She has been ok on this formula so far! But I went in to visit my work and that was at 9 am. Didnt get home till 1 pm! Lil miss has just gone down for her first nap of the day so I assume she is going to be extra tired tonight and even harder than usual to pyut down for the night!
DH is still at work and looks like he will be there until about 530-6 so that will be fun - he wont feel like playing with her at all! And it looks like we are getting abother big storm and I just LOVE storms! Caitlyn and I will just cuddle up in my bedroom (we both dont fit under the bed!) and hide from it all!
Other than that am having an ok day - just cant wait for tomorrow when DH is home and I can get something done around the house - unlike last weekend where he stayed out till 4am and then slept on the couch all day. Oh DH and I are fighting about that still - just found out that he wasnt where he said he was! So hes been lying to me - not impressed! There is always a reason behind a lie hey - something I shouldnt know! Will "discuss" that with him this evening!

Leah- i foun i have to fiddle with the text for the ticker to work, might take a few tries.
It needs to have [IMG] before it all and [/IMG] after it all to work.
so img inbrackets then the http and then the web site then what ever numbers your ticker is then /img in brackets at the end

Had a 2nd bday party to go to today, was down woolongong, dh had to work so i went solo. wasnt concentrating and missed the turn off, eventually got there 30min late. Was hard work with the 2 of them but had some help. it was at a play centre and some girl not in our group scracthed a grl in our group right down the side of her face, real nasty one too. Then later i noticed Nixon had a big scracth down the back of his neck?? he never came to me crying so i couldnt blame the same girl as i never saw it happen, im sure it was though little brat.

Rebecca - carp at your chemist not stocking the Novalac formulas - check out their website (just google Novalac) perhaps they could arrange something for you if you chose to give it ago. Atleast the other formula is working for you, hope it continues.....Sucky poo at your DH, he better be ultra helpful tomorrow to make up for it!

NT - glad to hear that Master J didn't have any reactions to the vax, mighty relief I reckon.

MissKate - your pram looks really nice and versatile, I have one of those large baby carriage types by Bertini and people are always staring at it so far no nice compliments though.....

Celtic - well done Ryan on being such as champion feeder and sleeper and 7cm in length that's awesome...Maddi has grown 8cm since birth so hard to believe that all this growing happens right before our eyes...yet it isn't until you see them up against a newborn or look at past photos that you realise just how much they have grown and changed.

Nic - Yay to Tyron on being 2 months!!! Where has the time gone? Pooey to Nix getting a scratch, even though those play centres are good you always have to be so vigilent abt other people's chn though....hope it goes down soon and not leave a mark.

Well like I said before finally took our annual Christmas photos so now I can get them developed and organise the Christmas cards, updated pic of Maddi with a santa hat - she really hated the hat or perhaps she was just fed up with Mummy and the flashing thing.....Heaps hot here today so haven't done as much as I would have liked and have the first of our family Chirstmas dos on tomorrow, really feel like cooking a cake but I reckon the moment I start Maddi will be wanting my attention.......

Ange - Lu looks so gorgeous in your ticker pic...good luck in getting all the chrissy cards done...I only just took the annual christmas photos this afternoon...better get my butt into gear otherwise all the cards are going to arrive after Christmas.
