    Hi all,

Tracey, feel free to vent how the return to work is for you to me, I will know exactly how you feel.

Happy half birthday Jack, won't be long till his full birthday

Em, a few weeks ago when it started heating up xavier was sleeping well, but now just like youo it has gone to crap, at night as well as during the day. We have to find a cool spot to lay him down.

V, what a good girl you have, but how on earth did you manage to stay up all night?? and your comment of relaxing?? sure sure, that'll be the day

Well today was a big day for us. Xavier had his first day of childcare he was there from 9-3.30 today and he was pretty good they said. He drank 175ml of ebm in total, he probably could have done with a llittle more and had 3 short naps, too many other bubbas to look at I think. He was so tired when he got home and missing boobies too i think because he started gumming me anywhere he could, so I gave him a top up 'cause I don't think he ate enough and then put him to bed and he is fast asleep and has been for almost 2 hours!!
And before you all ask yes mum cried, my poor little boy, he was fine though, i just didn't want to leave him. Fingers crossed I'm ok tomorrow. I have 2 more days to get used to it before I go to work. Argh I don't want to go to work on monday. I just have to remember that it's so we can afford to build a house and the sooner it's built and we start paying it off the sooner I can have another bub and become a sahm I can't wait!

HI everyone. Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New year.
We got back from holidays yesterday, and although we had a great time, I am glad to be home.

    Sounds like everyone's been busy

Rebecca - Poor you having to leave Xavier at childcare. I am so so glad that I am not going back to work anytime soon. Xavier sounds like he had a great chrissie.

Well, sorry for lack of presonals...(how unusual... lol).

Not much to announce here. Lach still commando crawling like mad. But he is not sitting up unassisted yet. Very very very close tho.
    Still breastfeeding. Going reasonably well.
Can't beleive he will be 6 months old in a few weeks!!!!

oh and Happy 6 months to Jack!!!

    Have a good one all.

Hi girls - this will be a quick one. Moving day tomorrow and still so much to do! T has just had a screaming fit for the last hour, finally got him down to bed so thought i would jump on and have 5 mins of rest and relaxation! Lots of packing to still be done - i am not usually disorganised but every time i have tried to pack something Dh has said 'dont pack that, i might need it before we move!' - even if its just an old baking dish.. Grrr!

Becc - my sister is a childcare worker and she just said that once the bubs settle in, they usually sleep well and start feeding better. They rarely have any children that dont sleep during the day - she has one little boy who will not sleep for more than 10 mins a day at home but sleeps for hours at childcare. His mum is devastated! She cant work out what she is doing wrong at home. Xavier will love it having new friends and different people to spoil him.

Better be off - monster child is awake again. Catch up soon!

Ok back again.. Just told DH we should leave T behind for the new people when we move, like some people leave behind their cat. He is laying in bed with legs sticking straight up in the air, kicking off his sheets and singing to himself.

Has anyone ever used one of those things (cant think of what they are called) that stops baby from rolling over in bed? Its kind of like a pillow that you put them in between? I am not so concerned about the rolling over if he would just got to sleep on his tummy, but he worms his way up to the top of the bed, switches his monitor on and off and then screams blue murder because he has his head wedged in the top corner of the cot..

Off again - going to be a long night i think!
