Welcome Back MRS NICKY! So glad you had a great day. & glad to hear that everything is okay with bub#2. Those first 12 weeks are so nerve wracking to get through.

Megan - I hate Daylight savings. I'm still struggling to get Liam into bed before 8.30, which is just waaay too late. Mind you, our sleeps are all still pretty diabolical, we're having regular screaming matches in the middle of the night, for who knows what reason. Heaven help us when he starts to get some more teeth.

Lis - Liam's still pretty happy to have me feed him, although we have started a game where he wants to play with the bowl & spoon when he's had enough to eat. Which is great if he's finished everything, but awfully messy otherwise.

Mel - woo hoo for the weight loss, that's great that you've reached your goal. But OMG, what's with being hit by a ute? Did I miss this detail?

Em - hope you're over your headache. I don't have biting or kicking issues on the change table, just wriggling issues. So I just put on my stern, no nonsense voice & get on with the job, & ignore the screaming, and this seems to have calmed him down a little, as I seem to be getting fewer perfomances. Except when he's tired, or super interested in something else. I guess my approach to all of these more trying experiences is that sometimes things/jobs just have to happen, and if we get on with them without negotiation then they get done quickly & we get back to the fun stuff faster. I still try to be nice & happy, but if he's really pushing buttons then I turn "efficient mum" on, IYKWIM.

Well, today was orientation day at day care, in preparation for our first day on Friday. And I'm totally pathetic, I hadn't even left him & I was bawling. So not looking forward to Friday, although he'll be fine. But he looked very cute in his new shoes which we have bought especially for the occasion, and he's so proud of himself when he wears them. Cracks me up really.

ANyway, better get off here, have mother's group at my place tomorrow and have a house to clean, toys to organise & some biscuits to cook.
