Thanks Maya I know it must be hard for him always having to move so I am guess he is just trying to see how far he can push.... But like you said thats just not aloud in school they all are ment to be the same and the minute that arent doing what everyone else is they want them on meds....I always thought he was such a little follower that I am quite surprised he has some inderpendent thoughts...

As for Kindy I have filled out all Kai's paper work for Casey so I am hoping she gets the same kindy that May is at as its nice and handy for us as we get to walk there and its next to the school.. If I was you I would enrole anyway as you can always tell them no if you dont need it, but to get spots at last min is really hard... So put his name to all the kindys you are even thinking about maybe putting him in that way YOU get to chose which Kindy he goes to and not the system iykwim...

    Happt beldated birthday Tori!
sorry i have been MIA the days just flash by me and i dont ever seem to get through half of what i want to.
Amanda- how did your check up go?
Bath- LOL cheeky Niall, cheeky boy

birthdays, ok get out my trusty bday book lets see!!...... Alexandra (CeeCee) i think her bday was the end of the month but not sure on dates (maybe 29th) and Lucas (Tanya) last June bub was born on the 4th of July!

About 5 nights ago i took Nixon's dummy away. he's had mixed emotions about it! we seem to have a good night, and then a not so good night. i kind of feel like a slack mum, i found them all, showed him they were going away and he kissed them bye bye. he tells ppl his "ummys went bye bye"
It helps that Ty doesnt have one so he is no longer seeing them around the house.
Got about 3 more weeks till we move and have SOOOOO much to pack..... dh hasnt packed a thing as yet, to his defence he has been doing heaps at the house there after work and on w/e's but i just cannot wait to get in i feel like i am a single mum atm.
Tali- i wish the school would just let him settle in a bit, it must be very hard for him to adjust, other kids already have their friends, their routines and Zayden is still trying to find his spot.....

kinder.... In Sydney we call it pre-school and they start when they are 3yrs. i went to one at our new local area last week and had a look and put his name down. Nixon already felt right at home and went and sat in the circle with the other kids and started singing lol!
boys are quiet, that could be anything!! better go

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Tori, she had a nice family BBQ on the weekend, but has been sick since she woke up Sunday morning- so not had such a great week. She is starting to refuse her day sleeps, but it sooooooo over tired by about 4pm that I just dont know what to do with her.
Liam is sick too with a runny nose, and I think he might have more teeth coming so not such a happy household atm.
My nephew who is 3 weeks younger than Liam got admitted to the children's hospital last night with a Staph infection, poor little man is quite sick covered in rashes and all his skin is peeling off. He will be in there untill at least the weekend and is on some pretty strong meds.

Tali- I would strongly suggest making an appointment with the schooling and going in and asking what strategies they are going to use with your DS, it is not good enough for them just to say that he is disruptive etc, without offering some ways to support him- ask if there are some skills/ strategies that you can use at home that might help him with his behaviour at school.

Kids in WA can't start kindy untill they are 4, so Tori wont be going untill 2010, which is a bit of a bummer because I think she will be more than ready to go, there are some private 3 yo kindies but she wont be able to start untill June and it is only once a week for couple of hours. I am contemplating putting her in Daycare one day a week next year because she really craves that socialisation and stimulation.

I hope everyone is keeping well, I am heading off to bed as I am totally exhausted!

Thanks Bath and Mel for the advice. So far at least he is starting the night off in his bed so that is a good sign. Half the time he climbs into our bed, in between both of us and under the sheets without us even realising until we wake up the next morning with this warm, snoring little man next to us!

Ali, hope your nephew gets better poor thing. I was also thinking about 3 yr old kindy for Alex but wonder if I can be bothered with it for only half a year. May consider daycare instead for one day next year, will see how I go.

Regarding kindy etc for our June kiddies: I have Niall on a list for our local co-op children's centre for 2009. It has daycare and pre-school options should I feel that Niall would benefit. He probably will... even just for a day each week. Hopefully by the time he is 3.5 (2010) we'll be able to afford to put him into an Early Learning Centre that offers fulltime (9am - 3pm Mon - Fri) classes for 3 - 4 year olds like Verity used to attend. THEN I might be able to consider either returning to study or work.

Kai wont start kindy until 2011 ( now doesnt that sound just so far away!!! )

Thanks all for you kind word about Zayden I know I should even be bothering you all with stuff about him as this about our junies after all and not ment to be about my "oldies"

My sister came over today for a school sports day and Kai started to call her " dumb dumb" lol as she was playing a game with kai and singing a silly tune with kind of sounded like dumb dumb so now that what kai was calling her all day I wounder if Kai will remember when we see her next...

    Tali-
Zayden is a part of our group as well, because he is a part of your family and we love hearing about all our Junies families. I mean look at me, I mention what is happening with all my kids!

That reminds me, Pat has been really annoying lately. Crying at the drop of a hat!He is really driving me crazy.
    There he goes again...BBL

Tali - pls don't think that, as Jess said, he is still part of the group too. All the Junie's kids are part of the group and I know I like to hear how they are all doing. Chelsea usually appears in my posts, so don't think anymore about it. Hopefully things will start to improve with Zayden once he feels more "settled in" and finds some good friends.

Nic - how is Nixon doing without his dummy? I took Chelsea's away about 2 1/2. Told her it was going to my friends baby as he needed it more! Marley is obsessed with hers, she hides them around the house so when I take one off her she just goes and gets another from her stash!!!! You must be getting so excited about moving and having your DH back. I've been watching for more photos of the house, it looks like it's coming along nicely.

Ali - how is your little nephew? Hopefully on the improve (and your kids too). Don't know what advice to give about days sleeps. Chelsea still had a day nap when she was 4! Had to wean her off them before she started school. Marley will still have one though. It makes life hard when you don't get that bit of quiet time.

Feels so weird to be thinking of kinder. Marley will do the kinder program at her day care centre the same as Chelsea did.

Life has been rather hectic for me lately. Work has been frantic with end of semester results etc, so I haven't had much time for the computer (unfortunately!). Things have quietened down now.

Kids are great. Chelsea is on school holidays and I took her and her friends to see Kung Fu Panda today, great movie. Then out to lunch. Tomorrow she is going with MIL to see Disney on Ice. Marley is starting to really chat now, most words are still a bit hard to understand but she knows what she is saying. We are getting to that frustrating age where they want to tell you something and you have no idea what it is. Then the tantrum, foot stamping, head shaking business starts. Ahh the joys of toddlerdom!
