Thankyou all. I know formula won't be the solution to his not sleeping but.... it is tempting. He just won't take the boob, or not without pulling off totally distracted.
Dusty sounds very similiar to E, pleased I am not alone but it is not a good thing.
E is getting solids, maybe twice a day, not heaps but whatever he wants, he usually has at least a teaspoon probably more. I try to offer the boob just before a sleep and he won't always take it, will bite me. When he is very distressed from not going to sleep despite me comforting him Ithink he is thirsty so will usually drink then and go straight off to sleep as soon as I put him down.
My boobs have really decreased in size and fullness in the last week or so. I try to feed as much as I can but if he won't take it...... E won't always drink formula, he will push it away if he doesn't want it and spit the teat out.
What I have been doing this morning is offering the boob then some formula. He won't always drink either but I have tried. My hubby is very supportive in whatever I decide to do. I just don't want to regret not trying harder IYKWIM? Maybe I should express but I don't think that will do much.
