    Morning Ladies!

I just thought I'd pop my head in and let you know that Em seems to be heaps better. He's asleep right now but kept down his bottle over night which was a good sign. I am off to work today and tomorrow so I might not be around.

    Will catch up soon!

Hi Girls.....OMG I had heaps to catch up on!!!

Nat: Thats great Em is getting better.....Jayden lost his voice in Melb, I felt so sorry for him cause his throat was probably so sore....but OMG he sounded cute trying to cry or talk.

Alison: I agree with Shazz, it takes a very patient person to teach kids....sorry you got a horrible class though!! Maybe you could mould them into normal kids haha

Shazz: Hope everything is going ok for you!!

Kim: I saw those bibs with the Dragon on it and I thought of you and Darcy haha. She's sleeping through now isn't she? Sorry you have probably said ages ago!! Jayden is saying mum, dad, aker(our dog) and tried to say purple last night (SIL thinks he said it but it wasn't quite right) and if I say yuck! He says ya ya its cute!! Sometimes it sounds like he is saying hello or how are you but I don't think he is.

Has anyone noticed when your reading or talking to your bubs that they watch your mouth? Jayden watches and mouths words like he is practicing.

He has worked out how to chase the cat around the house and how to grab her, he has also worked out that pulling the dogs tail is fun...lucky the dogs don't mind (yet). He recognises himself in the mirror or in photo's also knows photos of the dogs and Chris and me. He loves the photos more than his toys I think haha.

Anyway I have to get ready to pickup my niece from work, Jayden is still sleeping so he might miss out on going (he'll be upset, its his favourite cousin haha)

    I might pop in later....Hi to those I missed....have a great day!!

Alison- poor you, I hate 1st term cause you feel like you will never get them under control but I'm sure you will. Just be really tough and then you can relax later. My class are exhausting too, if I had to have them 5 days a week i would prob. jump off a building, the girl I share with says they are the worst yr 1 ever! They are all sweet kids but nearly all of them are really demanding and attention seeking and don't listen. Add a few learning difficulties and some non english speakers and you've got it all LOL!.
Lea- Is your name really Nat? I am confused. Glad Em is better.
Tannis- did you buy everything Melbourne had to offer??
Kim- when Jess gets home i will ask her how I get onto msn again cause I have forgotten! She will laugh at me but never mind.
DH has just left to go to a 21st, its a guy he works with, I was invited but its too hard with no one to mind Riley cause he has so many feeds during the night, if mum was around it'd be ok cause he could have a bottle and she would've handled it but theres no one. Oh well I don't know whether mechanical bulls and 21 yr olds are really my thing anymore!! (i'd feel really old in that crowd)
Erin, Riley and I may go down to sil's place for tea then have an early night.

No Tania, Darcy doesn't sleep through....but thanks for asking. I've been up since 3 this morning.

Had a nice day though, despite not wanting to go. I only bet in $2 amounts all day and ended up $4 in front so not bad. Don't know if we'll go out to dinner though. It's all the way back where the races were, so I do'nt know if I can be bothered drving that far. I'm sure Darcy would have a lovely time. It just so hot though.

Ha Christine, please do, but I don't think I'll be around for a couple of days since I have to work tomorrow night again. It'll give you some time to work it out.

Alison I totally totally understand. Whinge away love.

Little cow ditched me! She told me she'd ring me when they were going to a restaurant (I live about 35mins away). When she finally answers her phone, they've already ordered - and are at the RSL...of all the great places to eat and they're at an old persons digs (sorry normally it's ok to eat, but for a hen's night???)! By the time we got there they would have been ready to go. So we're going to stay at mum and dad's instead.

Shazz ~ That is fantastic that Ryan is walking!! WTG Ryan!!!

Leanne ~ I hope Katy is feeling better soon. And I hope you don’t come down with it either!!

Kim ~ It is really sad that they aren’t little any more … but like you said they are getting to be lots of fun now! Arghhhh @ your sister too! I’d be venting as well. Glad to hear you face is better as well. I don’t know how you do it. Yesterday I was up from about 3 or 4 and I was just stuffed!! Good on ya for being ahead $4 & OMG at being ditched!!! How rude!!!

Alison ~ I’m so sorry to hear you’re hating work so much. Sounds as though you have a horrid class there! I hope it gets better for you!

Tania ~ Awwww @ Jayden losing his voice. That would have been cute even though he was sick! Jayden sounds like one smart little cookie!!

Christine – My real name is Natalea LOL. My username used to be that ages ago when I was pregnant and then I had it changed. Pmsl @ mechanical bulls & 21 years old not being your thing anymore! I think I’d feel old there as well!!

Em has stopped throwing up though is still having coloured water for poos! He seems quite happy even though he’s not eating solids and not having much milk either. Hopefully he perks up on this tomorrow. Just about to sit down and watch Heroes and have a late dinner. I'm surprised I managed to get on tonight. I'm working for another 2 days and then I have orientation at uni. Then I have 2 days off - yay!!

Oh yes I got it alright..... Sore throat, runny nose, head like its full of glue, achy bones, head aches. NICE.

We had to take Kaitlyn back to the dr yesterday cause the benadryl was doing nothing. It's now turned into a little bit of a chest inf, so she's taking one medicine for that, and another for her runny nose, and then panadol for her fever. She's not eating properly and she's so upset and clingy. Poor little thing.

I'm so tired from working, and trying to get things done on the weekend to prepare for next week with my flu thing is almost impossible. Grr. It all starts again tomorrow. Might keep Kaitlyn home tomorrow as she's at my mums and just take the day off to recover myself and let her get a bit more rest before school on Tuesday.

I'm also struggling with my PND.

Anyway, she's up again (only been asleep for 10 mins), cause she can't breathe properly, so better rescue my little girl.

Sorry for no personals, I do read everything I promise ......

    Take care call.

Shazz: I missed the bit where you said Ryan was walking!! Congratulations little man!! I went to visit a guy I used to work with while I was in Melb and his mum said that her 2 youngest boys were walking at 8mths!! That’s the youngest I’ve ever heard I thought 9mths was early….or anything under 1 really.

Christine: I think I did buy everything LOL, mainly clothes though as we don’t have Pumpkin Patch in Bundy so I try to buy a fair bit while I’m there. I’d be a bit over the 21st thing now too, I went to one last year but that was a nephew so I didn’t feel out of place because I wasn’t the oldest there haha

Kim: OMG 3am! Poor you!! Does Darcy feed at that time or just want a cuddle? Jayden sleeps through but is getting harder to get to sleep. I got him out of being rocked to sleep months ago but he is back in the habit now because I was doing it in Melb. It took me 4 goes to have dinner last night because he wouldn’t settle. Bugger @ getting ditched that’s terrible!!

Nat: He was slow it roll, slow to crawl but I think he likes to take everything in (like his dad), he almost analyses everything new and just knows what to do the next time. Like the clapping I showed him what to do and now I just have to say clap hands and he does it. I hope Em is even better today, I hate when they are sick cause there isn’t much you can do but ride it out esp gastro, is he drinking water at least?

Leanne: OMG you’re going through a rough patch! I hope both you and Kaitlyn get better soon.

Oh I went to the Warehouse yesterday to get something to put all Jayden’s toys in and I saw framed 16x20 for $2.44 and they had 2 other smaller sizes for $1.74 and .99c…….Who could say no?? I bought 8 of them and I think we are going back today to get more hehe

    Have a great day girls

Hi girls! Long time no talk! I don't even remember the last time I posted.

Jovi's doing well. Popped her on the scales when I went past the chemist on Friday and she weighs 8kgs now which is good.

She's got 4 teeth now and there's another one just about to break through.

I don't think she'll be too far off walking. She now stands herself up and holds onto the lounge or whatever and lets go and stands there. She might take a step or too, then goes down, or falls on her butt. So cute.

I wish mangoes weren't so dear now! DHs mum and dad have been here a couple of times in the last couple of weeks due DHs uncle being in hospital pretty crook and DHs mum bought a couple of mangoes ... one for DH and one for her. DH was smart and ate his while Jovi was asleep, but MIL didnt end up getting more than a small bite of hers. Jovi ate the rest! Everytime we went to take it off her she screamed and chucked a tanty. Little brat. She'll eat just about anything and everything now. Cheese seems to be her fav though and goes crazy when the cheese stick is finished. It's like ... youve finished! NO more! Not good ...

The weather's driving me crazy at the moment. It's mostly hot but we've had the occassional day of unseasonal cold weather and we dont really have any winter type clothes for her yet ... especially pjs. Going to have to go and do some lay-bying very soon I think!

Her naming day went well. Nice and simple with a few close friends and family. Could have done without the gale force wind though!

Anyway ... she just woke up (surprise surprise! Always when I'm trying to do something ... always the way isn't it!).

If I get time sometime during the week I will do some personals.

hi everyone, there were so many personals i realy don't think i can remember them..

lea - (or is it nat????) so glad that Em seems to be feeling better, poor little boy.

now i can remember all your posts and i do care, but i can't quite remmeber who said what and what your names are, so i'll just send a big hug to everyone!

OMG how bl@@dy hot has it been! We ended up sleeping over at friends house last night as our house was an oven, definately getting a/c next summer. So glad i wasn't pg last night i would have had a serious melt down. Archie was covered in grass rash yesterday, it has settled heaps now though, and his teeth seem to be annoying him again......

Enjoy your week at work and at home!

Leanne ~ Buggar!! I hope you’re feeling better soon babe!! Don’t feel bad about not doing personals!!! That’s an order I hope things start to look better with your PND. I really wish I could help!

Tania ~ I have been showing Em how to clap for months pmsl! He just looks at me like I’m strange LOL. He’s not really drinking much water – he’s never really been a fan lol. I must admit he’s been drinking more then usual though which must be a good thing. That is a fantastic bargain as well! You go girl!

Beck ~ It is great to see you!!! Whoo hoo for Jovi being so close to walking! Em still isn’t standing unaided. He never stops long enough to concentrate LOL. I know what you mean about winter clothes. Em doesn’t need them at all here – its been 40 degrees lol but I can’t wait to do some lay-bying for him!!

Elissa ~ Its Natalea… so lea or nat hehe! It is way too hot – I am grateful for the cool change that came in tonight.

I can’t believe I have worked for 2 days and managed to post both days LOL. Em is doing better now though he still has watery nappies. His routine is a bit out of whack as well. Hopefully we’ll fix that over the next few days though. I bought Em some new jumpsuits today at the bargain price of $2.50!! They were size 0 though…. He is getting so big now! We stayed up till 2 in the morning watching Heroes – it is fantastic and I love it!!

Em is playing on the floor right now and I’m just waiting for him to sleep so I may go and cruise the forums.

    Night girls!

    Hi girls....

Little Miss Phoebe still isn't crawling properly, still doing the commando style....but loves to stand (aided), she giggles and chuckles. Sometimes she is on her elbows and knees and then tries to stand, but can't so just manoevres (sp?) around like that...quite funny and looks terribly uncomfortable. As Nat has said, it has been sooooo hot here. I just let Phoebe get around with just a nappy on, but she now has carpet burn on her tummy.

No luck with the house hunting, we are now under 2 weeks to find something. Hoping that tomorrow I will have some good news....fingers crossed.

Started at Tafe this week, it was great and I keep thinking to myself...why? didn't I do this earlier. Start back at work week after next. Just doing thursday and friday nights. DH will be home to look after the little ones, so no worries there.

Hope everyone has a good week....I promise I will be back to do personals soon!!!

A quick good morning before I get ready for work.
Leanne- hope you are feeling better, please take care of yourself (and make DH take care of you too) my PND gets worse when I am overtired or have too much on my plate. I hope you do take today off to rest. I am going to see a psychologist soon as I have never had much counselling only medication so hopefully she will help. Do you have someone to talk to?
Kim- hope work was quiet for you! hope Darcy made Cam earn his money LOL!
Nat- glad Em is getting much better, hope it continues. Sorry to hear about the heat, its not been too bad here.
Elissa- hope Archies' grass rash has gone, glad you could go somewhere cool to sleep. I hate trying to sleep in the heat. When we first moved to Darwin we used to set our bedroom air-con to 19 degrees so we could sleep with the doona on!! (Until we got our electricity bill LOL) At least Adelaide is fairly dry heat isn't it?
Mummy 4- hope you find a house soon, are you renting? We had to move befroe Christmas and its such a pain, there never seems to be much around to rent when ever we have to move!
Alison- thinking of you today, remember 1st term is always the worst, it WILL get better.
I have run out of time so hello to everyone I have missed, better wake up DDs and start the drama!!! Have a great day girls and babies.

mummy4life - goodluck with the house hunting, hope you find something very soon!

christine - yeah i think our heat would be much easier to cope with than Darwin.

OH what a relief, it is so nice and cool today! I had forgotten what it felt like to wear socks and trackies! Just made an Orange and poppyseed cake, mmmmm waiting for it to cool down so i can ice it and eat it, yum yum.

Darcy has been weird lately. She's so tired (probably cos she's a cyclone and uses all her available energy), but she used to have a pattern and lately it's gone. She's had to sleep with us the last two nights. She had a really yuk nappy Saturday night and an awful red bum, but that's gone now. Eats sometimes (is normally great), feeds well sometimes but other doesn't, hasn't woken at night for a feed since before christmas, but now sometimes that's the only way she'll settle Could my milk be drying out??? Bit worried.

Very tired today. It got hot quite early so that makes it hard. Then we went swimming with MG. I wanted to have a snooze with Darc before the counsellor gets here at 2, but my mum came and picked some stuff up, so that was out. Now I have to do the groceries cos we don't even have some marg for toast lol. These nights are killing me. Now Cam has been subpoeneaed to Supreme Court for an appeal against a big conviction, so now we have that and a police integrity commision trial to look forward to (He was on that cruise where Dianne Brimble died). Who would do this bloody job?

Poor Ryan. lol. They do think they are invicnable don't they. Darcy has figured out when you fall it's really not that bad, so she's climbing over and under stuff, and people nearly have a heart attack when she crashes over whatever it is she's trying to overcome.

Lol Karen I thought you had moved ages ago. Poor Phoebe with her carpet burn.

Leanne. Love. I so get you and I don't work as much as you. You know hwere I am.

Vic, did adam have a play in the little kids section? I took Darcy a few weeks ago and she loved it. Happy Birthday Hayley.

shazz - poor ryan, hope he feels better after his sleep. Archie's legs and head are covered in bruises too, they just always want to go faster than their little bodies can take them don't they?!

Im feeling a bit yuck ATM, think its just IBS i had Domionos pizza last night and i always have IBS after that, i never learn though of course.

Better go hang another load of washing out...

kim - you poor thing, i don't hve ny suggestions other than to tell you that Archie hasn't been the best sleeper lately either. We have been resorting to taking him for a walk in the pram to get him to sleep sometimes and he has been geting up earlier than usual. I don't know whats causing it maybe hot weather, teething, who knows. I hope Darcy settles down to a nice routine soon.
