sheree - sure sounds like they do!

I have seen Nat in another forum, she posted in there yesterday so she is till alive, have seen a post from her on Belly Belly this week too, ust must just be low on time so hasn't been in here for a while i guess.

Had our Easter breakup at Playgroup this morning. Easter bunnyhopped into the room and Archie just griped the table next to him and shook! He was quite terrified of the Big bunny, liked the eggs though of course.

Well my little monkey would not got to sleep today, I left him for two hours, whinging on and off, and guess what....................

the ratbag, climbed out of his cot and pulled his whole room apart. I took pics, it was a disgrace. Teddy's / books everywhere, stuff pulled apart. Omg what a mess, had to show Wade so it is still like that now. Gosh now he has done it once, this is gonna be so much fun!!!!!!!

leanne - please pm me if you like, i just started meds a few weeks ago and they are starting to take effect this week, i was so against taking them but i am so glad i did, they have changed my whole world already. I hope you and your dr can work out another good plan for you, im here if you feel like chatting about it all.

sheree - i just stripped Archie's bedroom of everything yesterday cause he would just go for a nap and the room would be trashed and he wouldn't sleep. Now all he has is his Woofa, dummies and a locked wardrobe, he still likes to play ith the power point switches though

christine - it is a different parenting forum i don't know if i would be allowed to post it on here though, maybe i should pm it to you????

Pt Archie back in terry towelling nappies in the hope that they push him to want to use the potty instead, he learnt how to pull his undies down today so that helps too.

As you know Leanne I am on meds too and they are a lifesaver for me (and those around me LOL) AS my doctor says if you needed heart medication or medication for diabetes etc you wouldn't hesitate so why should mental health be any different?
    Elissa- pm me!

sheree - no, he hasn't been in undies (well he was when he was trained for a week before he decided nappies were easier!), i just figured wearing a terry towelling nappy would be less comfy for him and he'll be able to feel wet. He does wear undies at home but hasn't managed a wee in the potty for a couple of weeks now, and wont have a bar of the toilet

christine and shazz, i have pm'ed you both

I feel bad. Archie was just crying at the bedroom door, so i opened the door and got his toe stuck under the door His toe is already sore, i reckon either and ingrown nail or he got a splinter in there, it is swollen and red, just waiting for the pus to happen...anyway, so that same toe got stuck under the door and i made it bleed. The dinosaur bandaids cheered him up though

Elissa, have you tried those training pants? We tried them, but Lachlan's legs are too skinny and the wee just comes out the side of his, even with my friend taking in the smallest size for me.

sheree - do you mean those cheap training pants from Kmart with the thin peice of foam in them?? I haven't tried those ones yet, they just don't look like they would contain much moree wee than a pair of undies. I have weaned Archie off Losec, has only been off it for nearly a week now, but so far so good, have had to be extremely strick with his foods though, so many things he is intolerant too. How has Lachlan been since finishing meds? Some nights Archie needs a little bit of Mylanta, does Lachlan ever need this? Does lachlan still have bad days or any silent reflux still?

christine - thanks for letting me know, i cleaned it out and replied to you.

No I am not talking about those cheapo ones, these ones are bright bots, a bit dearer and they have the plastic lining in them. I bought mine off ebay if you want the name of the supplier, let me know. They are good, if only Lachlan had fatter legs.

No we have noticed no different with Lachlan on or off the Losec, still doesn't eat much, still fussy. We haven't vomitted in a while now even before we started weaning the losec. His last vomit may of been around 16-17mths old. Lachlan's is all behavioural now and I know that.....

sheree - might get Jay to check them out on ebay next time he gets on there, thanks. What do you mean wen you say that Lachlan is all behavioural?? Archie still gets silent reflux and the pin that goes with it, but usually he doesn't need any sort of meds for that, am keeping my fingers crossed that i can keep him off the Losec, but it is exhausting just trying to come up with meal ideas for him, he gets so bored with the foods he is allowed to have.

I can send you the link if you want it.

When I say behavouiral - I mean - when he doesn't want to eat or is fussy with his food, some of it may be that he has a rememberance of relating food = pain, but I really think that it just instilled into him now and he thinks all that is the norm, hence behavioural. Just knows what he wants and doesn't want. Does that make sense?

    What is a pin?

Tell me about the food ideas, I ran out loooonnng ago. This child is so hard as far as food goes, always has been and always will be.

I just read a physic reading a friend did for me 2 years ago and man it was interesting and 90% of what she said has come true. Would love to explain it all to you, but it would take too long, would love to - as it is so interesting. It was all about Wade and his real mother (as he was adopted) and she got her age spot on among other things. She said Lachlan would have Wade's eyes and that is spot on. There was so much stuff she said, even to do with our old house and it's corridors and our renovating. All spot on. She said wade would be a gr8 caring sensitive dad, and that he is. She suggested Wade moving onto a newsagency, not in so many words, but it read back like that. Ohhh there was so much stuff.... One thing I know she got wrong though was that she could see a boy and a girl, and the girl was just adorable, but then she could see two other girls too. She lead onto say later that she thinks the girls were the twins we m/c. See the 2nd twin m/c I had was basically a blighted ovum - which didn't form anything in the sacs, so I could understand they weren't mentioned. So she said she could see 2 children for us. Wouldn't it be so funny if this one came out as a girl and they got it wrong hehe. She said we were so delighted with the girl. Hmmmm makes you wonder, but seriously I am so confident this one is a boy, I saw his wee wee clear as day - there was no mistaking it. So basically if this one was a girl, then she would be sooo right with everything, as we wouldn't go back again and would be happy with the boy and the girl. So basically this one is a boy, so we will go back - so that will be 3 children..... Got me thinking thou hehe.
