Right – time to catch up finally!!

Lulu – How did you go with your girlfriend? Hope it all went well, I can understand it would be difficult for you both. Glad Ned is growing along nicely too, at your ob’s comment!

Sez – You’re right about this age! All us bellybelly girls and all my MG girls are going through the same thing! Must be coz they are so active and growing so fast I guess! How is Nicholas’ reflux?? Have you decided about swimming lessons yet?? Let me know what you decide and maybe we can meet up!

Danni – Hope Mason keeps taking a bottle for you – can you get him to pass on his bottle secret to Izzy, cheeky monkey still refuses to take one. Don’t feel guilty, happy baby = happy mummy =happy baby remember!!

Kelly – You sound much happier and content with things hun which is great, I hope cutting out the Zantac helps too. I read in the ABA book that when weaning to express the tiniest bit off in the shower etc for relief but that’s it, use cold compresses or cold cabbage leaves for comfort and to take pain relief when you need it in the first week or so. HtH. How did you friend go with her induction? What did she have!??

Jan – Of course we haven’t forgotten about you – so good to hear from you and to hear that Julian is on such a great routine! When Izzy went from cradle to cot I teared up looking at the cradle in the morning and she wasn’t even in our room so I can understand. Izzy has eczema too, I’m hoping that it won’t get much worse than it is. She has it on her cheeks and legs mainly. I use Aromababy barrier balm on her bot –which is great, she has never had nappy rash, and I have started using it on her face on the eczema and it seems to be helping. I’m going to look at getting the Jurlique bath oil that someone was telling me about. at a 6 month cake – I agree, the progress that they make in such a short time is really amazing isn’t it!!

Dan – whoo hoo for Olivia! How is the bottle going now? Still going great guns I hope! I love that video of her too- she’s sooo funny, all her videos have me cracking up in them at her poor thing!! When will you be in Melbourne again – we should plan a Christmas May mummies catch up!! Sarah and I caught up on Saturday – I will post photos next week – I’m on crappy dial up right now which sucks for uploading stuff! It was great to see gorgeous chatty Noah! How was your MCHN appointment and how is the child care research going??

Kristen – How is Mia going?? Any luck with the settling?? Hopefully this really is just a phase and they will grow out of it and give us some sleep! Would love to see you again, bummer you couldn’t make it last week but we should plan again soon!

Sarah - to Noah! Hope your first job is all going well and you are organized for tomorrow! Talk to you soon!

Ash – Awful as it is – I’m glad to hear that it’s all bubs doing this so I don’t feel abnormal! Hope you and Blake are doing really well hun!

everyone else – hope you are all fabulous!!

We are going really well, Isabelle is now 62 cms (although I think it’s more like 63or 4- I don’t think she measured her very well!! And she’s 6.5 kgs which is great. She’s just above the 50 percentile. Her shots went well too – I didn’t even have to give her any panadol – she just slept in her pram because I had to go shopping.

Her sleeping pattern is ok I guess. About once a week we get a good 11 hour stint again, and most nights its one feed at 3or 4 (she’s in bed by 7) and she’s up anywhere from 7-830 depending on when she feeds. If she gets up before 7 for a feed I put her back to bed, not sure if she sleeps but I do and she doesn’t cry so that suits me

We had mothers group today – we had a few people not turn up, and it was actually nice to have a smaller group for a nice catch up. It’s at my place in 2 weeks time and I’m thinking I will have a body shop party! Going shopping tomorrow to get a high chair I’m excited! I was going to just get the Ikea one that everyone bangs on about but then decided that I really wanted one on wheels that I can use for times other than just feeding and I would like to feed her from the couch, not always at the table, so I need an adjustable one. Decided to get the Steelcraft one anyway.

Anyway I’m going to spend some time with my man before he passes out on the couch as usual catch you all soon!
