Hi everyone. Will quickly try to catch up . . .
Jan - so great to hear from you. Yep - that 5 months has flown hasn't it. It only seems last yesterday that we all started off in the pg thread.
Tan - my Izzy is as AWOL as all the rest of the bubbies apparently. She's waking once, usually twice through the night, and then again usually around 6am for the day. Very tiring and like you, I miss my 13 hour a night girl!!
Michelle - how was your time away on your own? If you're anything like I am, you'll love it but at the same time hate it and be desperate to get home to your gorgeous bub.
Dan - Oh huge YAY for Olivia taking a bottle. I was about to look into day care but now I don't need to, given that I'll certainly be a SAHM for a few years now - the plan was that I would stay home full time once we had two bubbies until they were in school, although I may do a bit of work from home.
Kelly - I make up her bottles with the boiled water - I have 3 different sizes ready to go in the fridge, depending on when she last fed, how much she's had etc. When its feed time I microwave the bottle, then add the formula. In very rare situations if Izzy has really not even touched the bottle, I'll put the made up formula in the fridge and heat it at her next feed, but if she has got part way through a bottle then I tip out whatever she doesn't drink. Its pretty wasteful but the tins pretty much all say that its best to use the formula as soon as its made up. If I'm going out I take heated bottles in a thermal bag (usually start to hot because they cool down quite a bit, even in the bag), and the Tommy Tippee formula travel containers, which are great. I then just mix it when she's ready for a feed and off we go.
Sez - how did you go with your Dr last week? Any help with Nicholas' reflux?
I had my first OB appointment today. I'm sure all the other women sitting waiting were wondering what I was doing there with my gorgeous little girl. My OB said to me "we did talk about contraception didn't we?" Funny guy - he was the one that said I shouldn't wait and should have another one straight away. Anyway, Ned is doing everything he should so far so that's good. Tomorrow I'm catching up with my best friend, who has been trying to fall pg for a while. Not looking forward to telling her I'm pregnant![]()

at your ob’s comment!
everyone else – hope you are all fabulous!!
I’m excited! I was going to just get the Ikea one that everyone bangs on about but then decided that I really wanted one on wheels that I can use for times other than just feeding and I would like to feed her from the couch, not always at the table, so I need an adjustable one. Decided to get the Steelcraft one anyway.

SO far 2 naps today - she has grizzled for 20 mins each time, but I havent taken her out of her cot - just settled her by patting and stroking. Not too bad.
