oh that's good that you're the ONLY taralee, i will try and find you

went looking for Luaa, and there were 65 names that came up under her name!!!!

Doing a fertility dance for you Kim!!!

So has everyone on this thread (except me) been training their baby to sleep thru the night, without a feed? It had never occurred to me to do that. Am i having another one of those "first time mums who know nothing" moments?

We have school holidays here in our state, so bilby has been getting to know her stepsister (big age gap), they are quite cute together. If only i could shake this darn gastro! Haven't left the house for over a week now.

Gigi I haven't tried any night training. I probably won't... I tried with Matilda for 3 years, and everytime something changed in her life she stopped sleeping again & it drove me nuts, so with Jovie I'm not bothering trying because I don't want to go through the disappointment lol. Its just my experience with a non sleeper and Matilda would have us up for hours and hours at night.

Gigi I'm really not all that fussed...I'm at the point now where I feel guilty no matter what i do..i feel guilty for rocking her to sleep and guilty for trying to get her to go to sleep on her own.

I was reading in a mag yesterday and they were debating routines vs no routines for baby and the woman saying babies should have routines said (among more crap) that babies who have a routine dont suffer from reflux or separation anxiety. Evie's had pretty much the same routine since birth and has/had both! what a git

Haha. I'm on the BellyBelly group so if you want to find me i'm that list.

Luu is a REALLY common surname like Jones! hang on DH is a Jones. D'oh!

Ella doesnt always sleep through the night Gigi. But she doesnt feed either. She wakes up from nightmares when she loses her dummy or gets her leg caught in the cot...

Today Ella started to whistle! so funny!

AJP - yummy moth wings eh? That's a story for the 21st Birthday.

LUAA - i couldn't find the belly belly group. when i typed belly belly into the search box, i found Kelly Zantey's personal facebook, but not one for the group.

well i found you TARALEE - amongst over 100 taralees!!!!! makes Luaa's 63 entries look not so bad!!!

Tara - i think you live with guilt the moment you conceive! i feel so guilty the way bilby is not knocking back solids the way other babies her age are, she can't cope with ANY lumps. Let alone a MOTH young Sophie darling! LOL

i have FINALLY found a savoury baby food that bilbs will swallow with not TOO much of a face, chicken with rice and veg (as long as i leave out the whole peas). Hurray, after trying EVERY type of savoury food available in all those little tins and jars. I thought mealtimes wouldn't be a battle until she was a toddler - haaa! what did i know?

I've got gastro atm (sorry for TMI) and i've noticed bilbs is having much longer feeds now i'm sick. She still looks fit as the proverbial fiddle.

Bilbs is doing lots of things in her playpen that show me she is practicising walking skills, it's so cute.

Her Gran, who has never seen her, referred to bilby as a big baby the other night on the phone. i know of bubs half bilbs age, the same weight. i don't know why, but it really bugged me, to have this grandmother, who shows very little interest in our girl, say this. Mainly cos it's not true, and even if it was, she's our lovely bub and we'd love her no matter what. Over protectiveness beginning early i guess. i don't know, it was the tone of her voice.

the paradox is, her other grand-daughter, two months older, who lives close by, is actually a large bub (but still very cute). I don't make a thing of that bub (our niece) being big, so why should this Gran make a thing about our bub's size.

Yes, add that to the list Taralee, i feel guilty often, cos bilbs doesn't have grandparents. The only one she has is a plane ride away and not interested.

well I have found you ann and sent a request, but can't find you tara - I can't figure the search friends bit out, and I can't find you gigi either.

Gigi I know exactly what you mean about no grandparents I have none, and Darren's parents are interstate and of them his Mum is really the only genuinely interested one.

DH is in Sydney for a couple of days so am looking forward to the weekend when he is home and I can take some itme out - Jake is so much fun atm but I need some nelly time.

Gig try the heinz organics pumpkin spinach and ricotta - when jake went through a not eating stage that was all he'd eat!

    hope all are ok!!!

Yep i've added you Nelly. YOu can find Gigi on my list. I cant find tara either...

Ella's grandparents (on DH's side) is great. My mum is not very interested - i wonder if its because she doesnt want to get too close since she's in Melbourne and were in Sydney.

Well we had a decent nights sleep last night and woke up at 7am. Thank you ella! Today we're off to the march for Burma protest in the city. I've read a lot about the history of Burma and they are beautiful peaceful people but the violence and oppression from the Military government has taken all this beauty and peace away.... (i could go on..)

Cheers AJP, nice work, taking one for the team
Gigi - have you tried those mesh dummies? you can put everything in there and they dont get the lumps. they're great
I've decided to black out evie's windows today on-account-a (angela anaconda anyone?!) she is up the minute that sun comes through her window which is usually before 5 and once she's up - thats it! However...what for it! 7.5 HOURS LAST NIGHT!!!! Unbelievable!!!! she went to bed at 8 (took me 45mins to get her down mind you) then had a little cry at 9 and 10 but just needed a little pat and dummy back in then slept til 330! i couldnt believe it! then she was up at 5 so maybe she got all the sleep she needed in that time! who knows!! anyways! sleep may be getting better cos i am so tired and putting her in bed with us just wrecks my back

    Arghh hadnt finished (stupid keyboard)

Nelly, Emelia loves stairs, everytime we go to my mums house she races towards them! she will turn around and look at us, as if to say "wat!" she knows shes not allowed!

Tara - we were going to put alfoil on the windows too just havent got around to it..but thanks for the tip about water never knew that..

Kim - hope all is going good

Ann - hehe how clever is Ella whistling!

Gigi - hope the gastro passes soon. im on face book too under Blanche Marriott

Going alright here..Emelia still getting over her cough and conjuntivits. She is walking alot more now she is still crawling the most (As she gets to places faster!) but each day she will walk further and getting into EVERYTHING! so bizare to see her stand up in the middle of the room and just walk off! i would like to get her weighed again i think she has lost weight, shes looking slimmer and her clothes are abit looser!
