    CONGRATS AJP!!!!

Vicky - how amazing to hold a brand newie! awwwww!

Kim - not nice to be ignored on threads, i've been there too. Such a contrast with this thread isn't it?

that's great about your week with just you and Craig - woot!

Christy - so you're nursing a nearly dying dh - you poor thing!

Taralee - here, have a box of tissues, the nice aloe vera ones so you won't get a scratchy nose! glad you got to see SATC movie, cool.

AJP - i can see three green lights next to your name

DH and i had a long talk the other night - it just ****s me that I've the one that gets to the point and says "we are not getting on, you're shutting me out, i really want to know, what is going on with you". Like, he can observe we are in a bad way too, but doesn't occur to him, to say "let's talk, we can't go on like this".

I am on a waiting list to go into a residential hosp setting for PND, have been told that should be happening this week.

Been stressed out of my brain about the coming school holidays in July, what to do about SD - now bilby is in the bed, we don't even have a bed for SD anymore. and it was cramped before anyway, every visit is so stressful. So this time, i worked out how much it would be for me and bilby to stay in a nearby caravan park for a week ($70 a night, $350 i don't have) - and realised, it would either be the same, or less, for dh and SD to drive to interstate rellies and stay with them for a week. So that's what they will do.

Rellies will no doubt be flummoxed why bilby and i wont be there - they have never met bilby and i would like them to, but i cannot cope with travelling and looking after both SD and bilby. too much car time, SD is very demanding, and when we get there, the rellies are like strangers to me, and not very welcoming anyway. Staying in a cramped caravan with the four of us in the middle of winter, besides not having the money to do it, i know it would be revolting space wise too.

Right now, i feel dh and SD going interstate each school hols, is the only thing to do. Her airfares to get to us are already a huge expense for us - i feel so trapped about the whole situation. We really need to move to a bigger place but that is not possible.

Moving out just me and bilby, THEN dh would have the space to have SD come each school holidays. But i would be moving out with no whitegoods, no furniture, no computer. Just our clothes. See my dilemna - whichever way i look at it, can't afford to do it. We can't move to a bigger place as a family, i can't afford to set up a 2nd home as a single mum. I don't expect any answers, been thru all this, just having a whinge. i'll stop now. promise.

    i can see it vicky!

gigi it obviously makes you very stressed about having SD especially when you have her multiple time a year, can DP go to her?

dont worry girls, i'm on here all the time too. gives me something else to look forward to!
Gigi - i think you're right about dh and sd going to stay with rellies, it's a good idea. don't put any more stress on yourself. and venting is so healthy, so go right ahead. sometimes it just helps to say things out loud.
Nelly - sorry to hear you're a bit down...do you need some time off? or will that make things worse if you're sitting around not working?

I must have a little proud mummy brag - so i'm giving you fair warning if you don't feel like reading it:
Evie is the youngest by far in her swimming class, and every week the teacher says to me how clever she is and how she just gets things. and today she said 'she is just so gifted, you should be so proud'.
well, i was so chuffed, my smile nearly slid off my face!
    thats all, thanks
also, i know Christy is, but is anyone else's bub starting to start waking in the night again? i actually managed to break the pattern of her coming into our bed in the middle of the night, but after getting up 4 times before 1230 last night i gave in, and now she's got a cold/or teething - i cant tell, i feel that i'll be doing it again tonight. Just wondering if there's a reason for them to start waking again...

Tara cant help on the waking...Chelsea goes out like a light every night til 730/9am....depending on her mood!!

Hugs Nelly....you need some 'nelly time' i think!

blanche - nathan was like that - a koala bear, would have gotten inside my skin if he could have. He was the baby that I wore. first in a pouch, then as he got bigger, in a back pack, otherwise I would never get anything done. didn't like to be out of my sight. well done on getting to 6 weeks!!!

I have just gotten home from seeing Menopause the musical... i know what you are all thinking WTF? So was I when i agreed to go, but it was sooooooooo funny. was the first time I have been out with a bunch of women from the kids school. was odd, because most of them know each other really well. I only knew one of them really well, and she is aston's god mother! was nice to go out for a meal, and a show without kids.

Taralee, bilby has never slept thru the night. Even though she is sleeping more now (increased from three hours a night - no day sleep -
    to
ten hours sleep per night - with two or three feeds amongst that - and maybe one hour day sleep if it's a VERY good day. Like we've driven home, she falls asleep in the car, i park in the driveway and leave her in the car, i weed in our front "handkerchief" of a yard and wait for her to wake up. only way i get her to day sleep.

BLANCHE - congrats on getting to your six weeks goal - that's great.
Your new house sounds wonderful. i hope you didn't have to housemove with a newborn!!!

AJP - it sucks being ill and not being able to take normal meds when you're preg.

Taralee, that is so sweet about Evie's swimming, what a little mermaid star she is, that's wonderful.

VIcky - how close is your dh to his surgery now?

Christy - have you been to see your mum yet? how is she doing?

Nelly - i hope the ob/gyno has some good news for you
how frustrating for you, when everyone around you is falling pregnant.
it took me five years to conceive, so i remember that feeling well (feeling it was SO easy for everyone else but me).

I am going into hospital (for PND) on Thursday morning, and doubt i will have internet access while i'm there (possibly for a fortnight) so i'm just letting you know, so you don't think i've disappeared or being a snob. so keep my seat warm on the bench.

hopefully, things might improve after this.
