Hey Hoody - content yes, but sleep loving - ummm, no!
DS has taken to waking every 2.5 hours from midnight so I'm getting tired again. Hoping it's a growth spurt but starting to have my doubts. If it continues much longer I'm going to have to try to resettle him rather than feed him which I dread at all hours of the morning!
Poor Molly - i hope she is feeling better today. Do you give her something when she has wind? Infacol? Infant's Friend?

) then has a big feed and is down 1.5 hours later or so. He might have a big sleep or little sleep, just depends. He is pretty much getting his 16 hours per day as recommended, with some really great interactive time together. As soon as he grizzles, he goes down and is out like a light!
The Lactation Consultant said "it is the nicest thing he has ever seen, that's why he is talking to it" when he first latched on and started chatting. I guess if your bub is hungry he will get the picture and suck. Maybe if he wants to chat then cover up, sit him upright and have a chat. Then when he indicates he is ready to eat, pop him back on. I suppose sending clear messages that this is dinner time as opposed to play time might eventually lessen this problem. Just another phase that we have do endure huh! In a book I read it said "dont' turn feed times into fight times", as in - dont' fight them if they dont' want to feed. I guess the same is true if they are not interested, or are stuffing around. Just take some time out and try again in 10 minutes.
