That's really interesting Kuraiza that you had to approach doc yourself etc. Here in the ACT at the 6 week GP check the doctor gets you to fill out the Becks Inventory questionnaire thingy for PND - AND at our first Maternal and Child Health Clinic appt they do it there also .... you may recall a week or so ago I wrote in a post I came out top end of "normal" more likely cos hubby was away and it is hard especially at night for me to get everyone to bed, still breastfeed, get up overnight, feed and then get everyone ready for school etc and start over again! I don't have family here either and some really good friends, but my bestie has a 5 month old herself and her parents are here and do EVERYTHING for her (including pickingup her 5yo and taking her to and from school everyday!), so I find it hard to talk to her cos, yeah, I;ll be honest, I am insanely jealous of all the support she has, yet she still goes on about being tired and DH doesn't help out aroudn the house .. I pretty much go it alone too, which is sometimes not healthy. I really hope the appointment helps.

Anyway HI to everyone else, short time tonight - I wanna try and get to bed a bit earlier as hubby is away for the rest of the week
