Kirstie sorry to hear that your day at the zoo wasnt too good. Stupid bad weather. Hope that DH feels better after his fall.

Well today was good. We ended up getting home about 7pm. DH left home at 9am this morning. I went over after 1pm and Jordan had a good sleep on his nonnys bed so that was good.
He ended up eating a full jar of food for lunch (pear and apricot) and he loved it. He also ate a full jar of pumkpin and sweet potatoe for dinner. He is really getting the hang of solids now. He opens his mouth for the spoon.

I have decided to try and stop biting my nails again. I have painted them purple and am hoping that the polish will deter me from biting. Only time will tell.

Rug up for the cold night everyone. Speak to you tomorrow.

Nicole I also had a bad night with Jordan. He went to bed at 7pm, was up at 11pm for a feed which was ok, couldnt get him to settle till midnight though. Up again at 3am and was unsettled until 5am, then up again at 6am for a feed. Went back to sleep by 7am and then awake at 8am.
I was so tired during the night and could feel myself about to loose my cool so I had to leave the room.
I have house to myself at the moment, no DH or Jordan. They are having father son day LOL
Well the nail polish seems to be working. I have gone to put fingers in mouth but it is stopping me, making me think about it. Hopefully I can stick this out. I had great nails when I was preggas and want them back.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hi All!

Kristy - Sorry to hear Dh had a tumble down wet stairs. I'd be seeing about getting some grippy things put on them just to prevent it happening again.

We'll aren't we all busy with our bonnie bubs...

Benjamin's growing up very quickly, and I'm getting clucky again. He's testing out his standing and walking abilities on all the furniture. He happily can walk along the front of the couch. The only problem I have with him at the moment is "biting". He's been testing out his 2 bottom teeth on things - fingers, arms, nipples, anything... It always happens when you ignore him. He also likes to play rough, unsure if that's a boy thing or what, but it HURTS! We've being using the word STOP! which is working a little better than OUCH! Any other ideas?

    Hi!

Well we've had a great weekend. Finally Louis had two great nights of sleep. He will wake up once in the first couple of hours of putting him down for his dummy but then he was sleeping about 9 - 9 1/2 hours straigth after that! Woohoo!! Then he'd often go back to sleep again around 6am with the dummy.

On a different note dh and I had a bit of a tiff Sat night. It's all sorted now which is good. He's very used to just doing what he wants and obviously that can't be when you've got a little bubba. Anyway, sometimes you need to have a bit off a tiff every now and then so there's not issues....The funny thing is that we were arguing and I got really agro and slammed the door behind dh really hard and normally we're so worried about waking Louis up and he slept through the whole thing!!!

We took Louis swimming today and he had heaps of fun!

Cindy - what was the play centre that you went to as we had a look at a couple of local ones yesterday but weren't that suitable for Louis....

Kirsty - Sorry to hear about your dh - That sounds terrible. What a bugger about the weather at the zoo....

Tracey - Yeah on Jordan eating his food! Good luck on not biting your nails. I don't bite mine but I pick at them..hehehe. Sorry to hear you had a bad night. It must be so nice to have the house to yourself!!

Cindy - I know - I would love to be in the warm on the gold coast! Have a great time away!!

Nikki - Sorry to hear you had such a bad night. It must be great for dh to take the boys like that, I bet they have a great time together.

Melissa - Yep they are growing up so fast - Louis is also walking along the furniture although he isn't quite sure how to sit down so gets grizzly after a while - hehe. Can't help you with the biting. Louis has just started to do it but luckily he has no teeth yet - but it still hurts hehe.

    Kell - Gorgeous picture!!

Just wanted to add that I'm sorry if my posts never make sense. I sit on the couch with my laptop while watching big brother or something equally intellectual so am stopping and starting all the time - hehehe.

    Hope the bubs sleep well!

Kristie - BB talk, I LOVE the nominees this week. I wouldnt mind if any of them go. If either Jamie or Katie went they would be upset and if David went it wouldnt be a big loss. I dont like him.

Well Jordan has a bad day. He slept for no more than 1 hr at a time and then would wake screaming. He was so upset at 6pm I put him on the boobs and in bed. He wasnt due for feed but it seemed to calm him down. He has been asleep since so hopefully we will be in for a better night.
I have to go docs tomorrow for a pap test (bummer) and i also made appointment for Jordans eye. The MHN said that on last visit one of his eyes are not centered. She did a light reflection test. We will see what the doc says about it. I also want them to listen to his chest as his breathing is real chesty at times.
ANyways, have a great night everyone, hopefully with a nice uninterupted sleep.

Melissa - ouch on the biting!

Kristie - wow that sleep is fantastic - you must feel great!

We have had 2 REALLY bad nights here. Emma was up at 12, 12:30, 1am the first night, so I then brought her into our bed, she slept fine in there (I didn't). Then I thought she must have been cold, so I put the little fan heater on low in there last night & checked & it wasnt too hot or stuffy & I really thought it would help. But alas, it was as bad as the night before. I was so frustrated. Saying lots of naughty words LOL. so she ended up in with us again, slept well of course, but again I didn't really, but at least it was better than getting up every hour. I just wish I could figure out WHY? I really would love a good nights sleep......

OK sorry for the big whinge...

Linda, I hope Emma settles down soon.
Nikki, I'm hoping you had a better night with C last night?

Not much going on my end. Jess had a gastro virus. 7days of non stop watery poops and nothing we did helped. Eventually toook her to Hosp on Sat night and they told me stop all food (she was refusing everything except bottle anyway and even that would cause her to arch her back in pain) for min 24hrs and give her only gastrolite. So anyway, we started her back on formula last night...fingers crossed she's not going to have any more watery poops. Her poor bum was bleeding cause she'd poop every hr or so! She was much better yesterday and sleep on sun night was BAAAAD as she was hungry and wanted a full tummy. But she's still asleep this morning (mind you so is kat! who had a bad night last night) so I got a sleep in. beter go make my coffee and wake the girls up or the whole day will be out.

    Take care all!!

    (we settle in a week!!!)

    Hi
Kirsty - Sorry to hear the trip to the zoo was not so good, we took Molly last year and she loved it!
Tracey - Good luck with the nails, sorry to hear Jordan is having sleep issues hopefully they wont last long! Re BB David may have shot himself in the foot putting himself up against the couple, people may vote for him just to keep Jamie and Katie together?
Kristie - YAY on the sleeping, not so YAY on the tiff - but at least its sorted now. DH and I may be headed for one soon too, I am having issues with him atm...we'll see
Kerrie - I hope the bug has cleared up for Jess, sounds like it was pretty horrible YUK!
Nikki - Hope you had a better night?
Linda - Whinge away, theres not much i can say to help...hopefully it will get better soon

IL's have gone!!! YAY. They werent too bad, it just disrupts our whole routine and then i have to spend a couple of days 'deprogramming' Molly after they have indulged her and filled her with [email protected] Hope everyone has a good day...

Linda - vent away, this is what we are here for. I find it easier to vent to you guys then my friends sometimes. I am sure Emmas sleeping with improve for you.
Kell - good to see that the ILs werent too much hassle during their stay LOL about deprogramming Molly.
Kirstie - i think you are right about David on BB. i wouldnt want to be put up against the couple. After adults only last night WOW.... people will want to keep them in for more action. (i cant beleive they were doing that under the doonas????)

Well I took Jordan to docs to check out his eyes and his chest. Chest is ok, he just has a cold but we have been refered to an eye specialist at the sunshine hospital. MHN said that one of Jordans eye isnt centered, could be a lazy eye so better to be safe than sorry.
I had to have a PAP test, I have been so slack with it so pleased I finally got around to it.

    Have a great day everyone

Nikki, I'm sorry your not getting any sleep atm. I know it's harder to do than people realise, but try to nap when C does. I'm sure your boys understand and maybe ask Dh to look after the boys so you can nap? I wish I lived closer. I'd come over and help with C while you had a sleep.....

Nikki - I'm so sorry. I feel just the same ATM. I wish I could give you some advice but I don't even know what to do here. I tried to call my MCHN today but she is on holidays I don't want to talk to another one though because I trust her...
