Go Chantelle. what a good little girl to have a full night sleep and let mummy enjoy it aswell. I bet you just feel awesome at the moment Nicole and you certainly deserve the night sleep.
Linda I hope that Emma follows suit and starts to sleep thru the night again. I am sure she will soon enough. I was up with Jordan at 4am 5am and 5.30am today. My alarm goes off at 6am so I was mega unimpressed when I finally got back to get at 5.45am....... oh well the things we do for our little bundles of joy
Cindy I am glad you enjoyed the playhouse. Nicole and i were planning on going to one at some point. Its nice to hear that DH let you sleep in for a change. I also cant wait to meet you both on the 7th.
Well we have 2 top very sore gums. They are so lumpy I expect for Jordan to have 2 top teeth by the end of the week. Mum said that he cried when I left him him for work this morning. He has never cried before so I think he is having abit of seperation anxiety. I am sure he will get past it though as he is with one of his grandmas 4 days a week.
Hope you all have a good night.
wathcing BB nominations. Its very good tonight. Michael is a tosser... wish he had of stayed though as he was interesting.
Had a great weekend. Had b'day drinks sat night and then a family brekky sunday so that was nice. Louis was so good. He was up for 4 hours yesterday and zonked in the car on the way home and was asleep even when I changed his nappy! He's sleeping has been good and bad. Sometimes he's taking longer to settle but he's sleeping in longer sets. So he might go 5-6+ hours at a time which is the best I've had in ages! So I'm not complaining at the moment. I left him in the lounge room for a few min today and when I walked past he was standing up on against the couch! cheeky little thing!
Nikki - Chantelle looks gorgeous! Wow on the sleep! That's fantastic! I'm so happy for you!
Kell- Hi - hope Wills being good for his Mum!
Tracey - Ooh it must have been so nice seeing a little baby again! I so can't wait to be p/g again either! hehe. Yes a bb fan- I'm glad Michaels gone - he drives me crazy - he's such an idiot. I bet he's been copping it off everyone today! hehe. Serves him right for thinking he's so clever. Wow Tracey - More teeth! Louis doesn't have any yet! hehe
Cindy - That's nice of dh to give you a sleep in. I got one this morning as dh had an rdo of work. The play house thing sounds great. Do little kids get much out of it?? I've never been in one. I'd like to try it out though. I'll speak with you soon. I've just got to catch up on some work as with everyone sick last week I let it all go...whoops. Got to get stuck into it for a week to catch up.
It sounds like you were (and still are) a huge help to your Mum! I can't imagine what it would have been like for you...and poor Nikki as well. Such sad stories.
I don't know how to help you with the solids (you saw how much he eats - hehe) but maybe just keep trying pureed foods and fruit and yoghurts?.......I know some babies won't eat lumpy foods but will chew on finger food if that makes sense. Maybe some toast or cheese fingers or soft cooked broccoli stalks etc....Maybe worth a try....
Linda - I'm sorry to hear your still having problems. I hope Emma sleeps well for you soon. Have you tried feeding Emma a bit more often to help clear them out?? I don't know if it would help but thats what I do just to make sure they're fully drained. Good luck!
How did you go at the bridal fair?
It sounds like all of our bubs have gone thru this problem sleeping stage at around 6-8 months, so hopefully Linda it will pass for Emma, as it has for Will. Sorry to hear you are a bit sore, just keep expressing and it should get better
Kristie - Glad you had a good weekend, and that Louis was good for you Will is being a little angel atm, he is sleepin beautifully and just a delight when he is awake!
Cindy - Will will take small soft lumps in his food now, i spose you could just stick with purees for now and try finger foods (like kristie suggested) and get her used to different textures and then gradually intro soft small lumps in her meals... hth. Hope your mum is doing well, my mum has gone in for day surgery today, bowel cancer test, so i am picking her up looking after her etc...
Nikki - Absolutely, i always expect the worse and then am not too cranky when it doesnt go my way. even with Molly now i expect that if i get her dressed in nice clothes she will immediately get dirty - then i am resigned to changing her LOL.
