I can breathe easier now. my stepdad retained his job thankfully and mum had major foot surgery today which she has pulled through okay with. We will go see her on Friday as tomorrow they take out the 24 hr pain relief that makes her leg numb, so she will be in a lot of pain tomorrow night and getting used to new pain relief etc. So hopefully Friday night she would have settled down a bit again.
I will catch up a bit more tomorrow. Bloody exhausted and have some admin work to do before bed on BB
ETA - Kate *hugs* for you babe. You are so not a crap mum and just think you will never have to see those people again, so who cares what they think. I know when I see a mum struggling with a crying baby, I don't think of them as being a bad mum, I feel really sorry & sympathetic for them that they do have to go through that which I know myself is a really trying time especially in a waiting room.
