Wow, Emma, that's great. Well done Gaby! Looks like she is well on the way to sleeping through now.

Marion, I hope your appt at the breast feeding clinic goes/went well (I'm losing track of time!). You have done an amazing job perserving for so long. I know I was exhaused when expressing every feed for Jack and I only had to do that for 2 days. Whatever happens now you can know you have done everything possible to bf. I'm glad the physio went well. The car trip sounds very painful.

Kathryn, I hope all our bubs are sleeping through by the end of the thread too!! Sounds like Gaby will be the next! I hope everything went well yesterday and things are better for you now.

Well, it must have been the night for good sleepers. Tom usually goes down to sleep after I bath the boys at around 5ish. Yesterday though he was very unsettled and didn't really sleep at all outside of the sling. It wasn't like past unsettled days though, he wasn't crying in pain or anything, just wouldn't fall asleep. He'd lie quietly for a while and then start whinging, have a feed, lie quietly again, whinge again, feed again etc. He had a lot of feeds so I'm thinking maybe this is a 12 week growth spurt. Anyway, he didn't go down after his bath like normal. He didn't finally go down until about 7pm. But then he slept until 1am. Then he woke at 4:30 but only had a very small feed before sleeping until 6:30. Of course Jack was up at 5 (thanks Peter Beattie for no day light savings - NOT!!!!) so it was another early start. But it's amazing what a difference one good night makes - I feel so much more refreshed. YAY!!!

Tomorrow night I am going out! Yep, I decided I would go to DH's work Xmas party. I wasn't going to go as my friend who I would usually get to babysit is going to the same party. But then Jack's primary carer from day care said she'd sit with the boys so I'm comfortable with that. I have been expressing for 3 weeks so I have a huge store of milk in the freezer. This means I can also have a couple of drinks and "pump and dump" when I get home and give Tom bottles of EBM during the night. I'm really looking forward to it now, although it will be hard to leave the boys, especially Tom. At least I really trust the babysitter. Tomorrow is also Jack's day care day so I have booked a hair cut and eye brow wax as well. A real "ME day!!" LOL!
