Kate - the breastfeeding is not going well. Am close to giving up trying as it is just distressing for her and me. She gets frustrated very quickly and then it all just goes downhill. Am finding the expressing very hard too though. Will go to the breastfeeding clinic once more today and see what they say!

She seems to be alternating between being quiet and sleepy in day and evening, and then waking up after 4 hours at night, and feeding frantically all day/evening then sleeping through, not sure which I prefer!!

Have been very busy with appointments and getting ready for Xmas (we both have big families to buy for!) so have been too tired even to read most posts here! Normally I relax at weekend and let hubby take over but this weekend I was out shopping then wrapping.

Had physio appt yesterday, she was absolutely lovely and full of helpful tips. I wish I could see her again but unfortunately I have to wait to be referred to my local physio by my GP, which will take 4-6 weeks. Not looking forward to long car journey to inlaws for New Year when back is so sore!!

Sorry to sound like a misery, I need more of the Xmas spirit (G and T preferably!)
