Saffi- I have the same prob with Caitlyn. Have to keep her wrapped otherwise she knocks the dummy out, gets upset etc etc. Plus she still has the whole startle thing happening so any noise makes her little arms throw around a little. I bought a sleeping bag the other day - a Bonds one with long arms. We keep the nursery pretty cool and the grobags are sleveless. So I thought I would give this one a go.
Willow- I never wanted to give C a dummy but the pressure that I was under when she was still very young to give her a dummy was ENORMOUS. So she got it and I got peace and quiet - and I'm not talking about from her! I too want to get rid of it. But when she is crying in the middle of the night and I put the dummy in and she almost instantly goes back to sleep - I thank god I have that dummy to give her.
However saying that - the fists are going into her mouth more and more! She just loves to follow her little bit of farex with her fist. And once the dummy is out - fist is in. I thought I might try her in the sleeping bag on Saturday night cause DH is home on Sunday and that gives me a chance to catch up on m sleep if I miss much.
She is getting out of her wrap sooooo quickly now. Teh angelwrap hasnt arrived from ebay just yet - wish it would hurry up!!!
Almost home time! My sinuses are KILLING me. I must have an infection - might hijack an appointment with the Dr on Friday when I take C for her needles.
