OK so.....went to the chiro today. Was GREAT! He was really nice, and it didn't involve any cracking or anything. I'm sold...not to mention he was totally HOT! So, because Max came out with his hand on his head, he's a bit out of whack. Combined with a bit of physio, things should come good for him. I know, they probably would have if I didn't do either of those things, but I am glad I went anyway....even if it's just for the eye candy!!!
Question Would anyone here have their child participate in any 'trials'? I got a thing in the mail about a vaccine trial they are trying to get kids into. What does anyone else think of it? I'm a bit scared! I know it's probably harmless, as if it is a positive trial, then every kid would get it but.....??
Julia - Yay on the hot chiro LOL! I'm glad you were happy with him, they don't do anything nasty to babies I promise! K's chiro is the most wonderful, supportive man. He gave me his number so I can call him to ask about absolutely ANYTHING. Re: the trial, I personally would be too scared! But it's also important that vax's can be tested on babies so it's a tough one.

Amber - My skeptical guess about a change in 6 months time is that Myles will be walking? Most babies start walking about that age. But then again, Myles is such a go-getter he may start walking sooner rather than later!! I thought Joel would walk early because he was so quick to do everything, but he was 14 months old when he finally walked properly. How are you feeling today?
Mo - I hope Maddi's tummy goes back to normal soon. The poor thing.
Kellie-Woohoo - hot mama!!! I know what you mean about the little waist!! Was talking to my DH who told me that my post-baby body was the best ever shape - "and of course things are going to wobble when they didnt wobble before" - Grrrr NOT the right thing to say!!! Julia-I know what you mean - I would be really unsure as to whether I could put Caitlyn into a trial - I would be nervous about it. But great that things went well with the Chiro!! Thats fantasitc. I am not a big fan of them but when they work they are worth their weight in gold! Even better that hes HOT!! MAkes spending the money much easier!! Willow-I know what you mean about the wrapping!! It was becoming harder and harder to actually get and keep Caitlyn wrapped at night and one night I was in tears because everytime I started to wrap her she would wake up completely and then fight me every step of the way!! So it was a huge challenge to get her to bed! I ended up taking a day off on a friday and the thursday night I just put her down unwrapped and hoped for the best. I was lucky in that it didnt end up bothering her that much and she slept for about as long as she had when wrapped. It was just her time. Maybe, tuck a sheet in quite tightly so that he cant move that much while he is asleep/trying to get to sleep? and then change it to a blanket so that its heavier?? I dont know - sounds like its a security thing?? I had to wrap Caitlyn soooo tightly and snugly. Wasn't easy!!
Anyway - we had another alright night last night. Down at 7 again up at 5 again but this time I couldnt get her to settle after and ended up bringing her back to bed with us at 530. But she was wide awake and we ended up awake with her! So awake since 5 and a full day at work today. DH is lucky enough to have the day off - wonders will never cease - so he can at least have a little nap sometime during the day and I have no doubt that he will!! Oh well as long as he comes and gets me for lunch its all good!
Well the boss is looking at my funny - I dont normally need to do a lot of typing in my job! But seriously I cannot WAIT to give notice!!! Bored out of my brain most days now!

straight to the point - does anyone know of an acupuncturist for babys??? I know the last thing you'd like to do is stick needles in a baby, but I get spontaneous bleeds in my ears where my (now dead) accupunturist used to give me treatments, and DS is getting them too! One in the same spot as me and two I've never had before. DS is really clicky, knees, back, shoulders - not hips TF failing that a chiro in melb?
Julia what a yucky situation your MIL has put you in! I cant believe she called Max a Dhead wt?????? Were lucky the in laws live a 4 hour drive away thank god! Hope your hubby is ok!

Well I think bad mummy of the day goes to me! Myles was playing on the floor while i went to the bathroom and found one of those silica gel bags(i have no idea where it came from?) and ate it!!!!! He didnt eat the whole thing and i got most of it out of his mouth! I called the poisons hotline straight away in a panic!!! They said it will just pass through! He eats everything! Shoes, clothes bags! And licks everything! He liked the fence the other day while i was hanging the washing out! He is weird or does every ones kids do this?

the move went well, its been hard living in the reno's but thank god most of it was done before we moved i dont think i could handle it! The kitchen is 90% complete a few more cubborads to be done which happens next week, dishwasher still to be connected as is the stove top, so cooking has been reverted to mocrowave, frozen meals, the george, elec fry pan and wok!
Um the house is freezing cause we have no door from the kitchen into the back patio area, thats getting on next week alone with bedroom doors which we've also been without!
i went without a washing machine for 2 weeks, finally it is connected and working as of this week!
Painter is coming next week to finish off prob 2 days worth.
every room has something that needs finishing but we are very pleased with what we have done so far.
Both boys have been in the wars. Tyron smacked his face into the concret a couple of days ago and got a nice big bruise on his noggin and cut on his head.
the day we moved Nixon cut his chin open, had to be glued, then thismorning climbed onto the change table, tried to lean over to turn the sterip on and fell and has a nice big bruise on his forehead to mnatch his brother!

Viv happy 10 months JJ! RE BF Myles snacks during the day so couldnt tell you how many exactly, but has one big one before bed and then whenever he wakes again! I am very pro BF so i would hope the next baby is as good as feeder as M and we have a great feeding relationship! But if I had to ff i would so no judgement on anyone who does! M has been having scrambled egg with all the egg for a couple of months and no allergies here, but all kids are different hey! Hope JJ gets the tooth soon!

In other news! i got Myles on the toilet today to do a poo! wootwoot! No messy nappy change! clean as a whistle after! We are thinking of getting him a potty just to see how he goes! He had the biggest smile on his face when he heard the splash (sorry if your eating TMI) I think i was more excited than him! lol!
