Tracey - glad to hear you had a good birthday!! Bummer you cant make the girls night!

Rachael - glad to hear you had a nice break! When are you back at work? With our finance we arent missing anyhting other than money we are getting from the people who have sold the place we are in - we are doing 100% finance but we are going to be paying off ALL of your other debts first so we need to prove to them that we have the money to do so!
We are really stuggling to find another rental at the moment though which is rather stressful! Could end up living n the streets at this rate!

I did a tupperware stand at fountain gate shops today and it was great! I had 2 people book parties and have another 3 that will be calling me in the next few days to book ones too!! Woo hoo!!

SOrry - gtg - tori wont got to sleep for al anymore so it is my job unfortunately!

I cant make it on the 1st either - my brother has booked us in to the supper inn for dinner that night for his birthday.

Cindy - WRT Tori's weight. My mums GF was referred to a paed for both her kids for FTT, and the paed took one look at her kids and said 'what are you doing here?' Some kids are just going to have slight builds, as was the case for her children (she doesn't, but her DHs family all do), I hope that for Tori its nothing more than that.

If you arent happy with the opinion and advice you get remmeber to get a second opinion.

    Hi!

Sorry - I can't make it the next week - I just got invited to a b'day yesterday - although Michael and I will be at Crown for it - LOL! I'd try and double it up but Michael will be with me and it's my friends b'day not his iykwim??

Cindy - Glad the tupperware stand went well for you! Bugger at trying to find a rental...it's so hard these days!

Nikki - LOL at being loud about your b'day - I'm like that as well! LOL! Glad you had a good week - hope the kids are well!

Tracey - Glad you had a great b'day and your dr's appts' went well! LOL that Jordan loves the glue stick - Louis hates gluing - or having anything sticky on his hands or fingers! have a good day at work tomorrow!

Don't know if I already told you but Louis has dropped his day sleeps. He's only had 1 this week and then wouldn't go to sleep. It just gets to about 2pm and he has quiet time on the couch watching tv or reading books and stays there while I got and do work or whatever I need to do. Omg - my little boy is growing up! LOL! He's not even cranky at bedtime really either....or no more than usual iykwim!

Anyway - hope you all have a good weekend!

    Chat later!

Kristie WOW at Louis dropping his day sleep. We are so no where near ready for that. Jordan still sleeps 2-4 hrs during the day. I think I need it also for some ME time and will cherish it when Liam comes along I am sure.

We went to see jamies cousin and her bubs today. He is 5 months now and Jordan was so good with him. So affectionate it was sweet. I hope he is like that with Liam.
Just organised hire car for QLD and we think we are going to just get a 1 bedroom place instead of 2 to save money. As long as we can shut thebedroom door when we put Jordan to bed we should be fine. We will save about 100.00 by getting the 1 bedroom which is the entry to theme park. Its only 9 nights I am sure we can put up with Jordan in our room for that time. It will be the last time we book 1 bedroom though, with the 2 boys I think it would be a bit much.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend, back to work tomorrow XX

    i'm free the following weekend.

Krisite, wow on Louis dropping his sleep - you never know though, he might go back to it, my friend Alexis' daughter has just now started having day sleeps again, every day, after having none for a few months.

Tracey - more wow on 2-4 hours a day! I wish Milo would have that much, he is more like 1.5-2.5, but closer to the 1.5, and some days id we're going out etc, he will have 40mins if he's lucky. He really needs the day time sleep too otherwise late afternoon evening is a nightmare.

Milo decided at 12:30am to play musical beds and stay awake til 2:45! He has nevr done anything like it before...I changed his nappy at about 2:30 and it was like it normally is when he gets up - once I changed it he was quite happy to go to sleep in his bed with a song. I hope thats all it was - mum is going to keep an eye on him today JIC.

He has been setling at night tim a lot more easily lately, so we might bit the bullet and swap him over to his bed this weekend. ITs so cute, every night he wants a song and a story, which normally drags on to mulitple sings and story requests, but lately I've told him that he can sing/tell a story to his teddy cos 'your a big boy' and 'teddy needs you to help him go to sleep' and so far (tough wood) its been working really really well.

Went to see "Juno" at the movies with Neil as a late anniversary celebration, it was soooo good, he now wants to call any daughter we have Juno now cos he likes the name..mmmm.

both my boys slept during the day until they were 4 and i plan to do the same, chantelle only sleeps for 1.5 hours and hell will freeze over first before i let her stop.it is natural for children at this age to challenge you with day naps but in my personal opinion i think that it is important for them to nap at 2 years of age, they can cope better with such a long day and of course i treasure that time to myself aswell, tis important for mums to have time out,i appreciate the time i have with my babies when they wake so much more cos they are refresshed and happy and i have achieved alot during that time out.this is not an attack on you kristie,im just hoping that you have made the right decision for louis,he is still a very young toddler.
kristie,we went to the werribbee zoo yesterday, after reading your post last week you inspired me to go.we had such a great day,the weather was awsome and the kids loved it.
we went late in the day and took a beautiful picnic and watched the african dance concert in the evening on the lush green lawns, harry was so happy crawling around and chantelle danced all night long, corey had bongo drum lessons and we just had the most romantic evening.
everything else is well.i hope i havnt offended kristie and if i have i take it all back.
ok can we come up with another date later in march then.
how about we try for the sat 15th march.if we can all agree that we are free for that date at the moment then we should all keep it free and not just take up other offers other wise this will never happen.

    You make me laugh nikki!
ON the day sleeps - my tori is like jordy and will have anything between 2-4 hours a day. She isnt in bed at night though untill 9-10pm just so she has a chance to see al at night!

OK - i have an issue!!! Do you al lremember me talking about tori and her fantastic climbing abilities early on???? Well..... It seems her little sister is following in her footsteps, i just put chacha to bed and went back in 5 mins later coz i could hear her chattering away and i thought she must have dropped her dummy out ofthe cot... well i go in there and she has climbed out of the end of the cot and is sitting on the change mat playing with the wipes! i had aheart attack! She could kill herself falling off there! I cant wait till we move nad ican move her out of our bedroom and away from all things climby!

On the night out! I neeed it to happen, however - i cant maek the 15th, actually march is really bad for us with moving etc unless it is the 1st. If anyone is keen to catch up on the 1st then i am still too! I have asked NIkki and another friend of mine Lee (met her through tupperware and she is new to Victoria and has a 2yo boy) so i might end up still going out that night with those two anyway?? I will have to confirm with those 2 that they were still free but i am thinking i will do that. Perhaps we can maek another date in April? Isnt that stupid!

April sounds ok to me as long as I am not too pregnant LOL

Nikki I dont think you can offend anyone. YOu are only expressing an opinion. I too hope Jordan will keep the nap up till he is at kinder, for everyones sanity. Glad you had a great time at werribee zoo. How did you handle the heat in QLD when preg with Harry. I am nervous about going to theme parks if it is too hot. I get dizzy quite easily.

Cindy OMG at Cha cha climbing, what a cheeky monkey. I hope you can move her somewhere she cant climb out soon.

Rachel milos sleep sounds good. 1.5 hrs seems ok to me for a nap Good luck with the bed transition. I hope it is smoother than ours.

Well feeling good today. Jordan moved up to the kick boards today at swimming. Jamie said he is coming along really well which is great. I cant wait to be able to see him in full swing when we go to QLD. Liam is moving heaps which is nice, I love being preg I cant beleive how quickly it is passing us by.
Work is terrible at the moment with the new computer system I am dreading going into work as things are still not working properly. I am such an organised person that it is doing my head in, and stressing me out. I wish they would have thought it thru better.
    Take care

    QLD sounds great Tracey.
My brother is going to the Gold Coast for 3 weeks for work and I am so jealous!

All this talk of swimming bubs and Louis speakling Spanish is making me wonder whether we are challenging Milo enough..we've only been just playing around at the pool, no swimming lessons so far. I used to swim competitively, well at state level anyway and I think I'm a bit hesitant to rush him in to it becuase of that? Maybe anyway. Hmm I might have to look at trying to get him in to some lessons though. Is quite difficult to get in on the weekends I found when I had done some initial enquiries.

Tracey tell me about computer upgrades , thats part of what I do at work *sigh* I hope that they've not messed it up too much and that its sorted out soon for you. Dd they do them during they day? Thats odd, or was it just that what they tried to do didnt work so there were resulting issues during the day?
mmmmmmmmm either way I can understand your frustration!

Bit of a schemozzle at home this morning. Mum rang me at 6:30am to say that she had hurt her back and wouldnt be able to look after Milo. Neither of us have any rec/annual leave left after our week away, andh is creche doesnt do occasional care, even though I know they have vacancies on Tuesdays, and it was far too early to ring up andyone to babysit, so I stayed home with him in the morning until a reasonable hour when I managed to arrange my cousin to watch him for the afternoon. It was good in a way because I was able to go with him to playgroup which mum would normally do, just a hassle with arranging babysitting. Then to make my day, he decided to not have a day sleep and was very overtired when I finally left for work. My poor cuz, I hope he is okay for her!

OMG!!! My air con died last night and it is revolting in our house! Coz its broken we have fans everywhere and ofcourse my children being mine - each of them have hurt themselves with the fans. Chacha has a massive lump (make that 2 lumps) on her forehead and tori has a black toe, chacha pulled on the cord of one and tori tried to move the one in her room!

Rachael - sounds like you have had a great day too! We have the giorls in swimming classes and tori is swimming by herself now (with floaties) and chacha just LOVES it! as soon as we get int he building she is jumping up and down. i know our swim school does after hours classes - perhaps you can find one that does out your way? we go thursday mornings coz al has the day off!

Well i feel like crap today - got a dry caugh and a snotty nose (as does chacha) so i dont know if i should go to work tomorrow or even if i should send chacha to child care!
I dont know if i have mentioned child care here ut tori HATES it! she starts sooking as soon as you pull in to the driveway of the place.. She has a ball though once she calms down coz she tells us all about the dancing and singing (they have gymbaroo and kindermusic people come in on wednesdays) we dont know what to do, she is worse when i drop them off so i dont do it anymore but it breaks als heart to hear her screaming for him as he is leaving!

OK, GTG get organised for all of my tupperware drop offs tonight.

Kristie -i have your cups for you! Also if you were wanting more stuff for your fridge and thinking of have another party again march host gifts are pretty much all fridge stuff even without party bookings..

cindy dont be tooo worried about tori and child care, nearly all kids have seperation anxiety when being dropped off, what i can recommend is that either you or al try to stay back a bit longer and watch through a window after dropping her off and i am sure you will be suprised to see that she actually stops crying almost as soon as she thinks you are gone.or pop back at lunch time and peek in without her seeing and i bet she is having lots of fun and happy as can be.what ever you do dont give in straight away or she will have it over you and you will never get her settled in to where ever she goes cos she knows she can pull one over you.also make sure you ask the girls how long she cries for and how often she has those moments throughy the day,i think you will find that she will improve alot, chantelle still has times when she cries when i leave her but she goes through phases,i always ring up 30 mins after dropping her off if she cries and it is a great releif to here that she has completely forgotten about me and is busy doing fun stuff.
