AnnaT-dont give up hope, like Kellxx says it might be the really early beginnings. The drs do say any line is a positive test.

Adele-grrr at your DH. When do you get your car back? I am about to head to that website that you spoke about, thanks for that.

Sharleen-Is that ambah in the jolly jumper? She is growing up so fast. Eithan's muscles arent that well developed yet and he wont put any weight on his feet yet. Not worried though. Drooling, how is the teething going.

Maz-I hope you had a good night last night. nUdge, nudge, wink wink.

Kellxx-lol at your DH saying toys add character. I'll have to let my hubby know.

Jodi-I hope that Nina was better for you last night after being settled. Huge hugs it can be very tiring and hard dealing with these babies at times. If I hadnt said before, love the name Nina. It's not such a common name, what made you think of it?

Well Eithan slept ok last night. Went to bed at a reasonable time for a change. About 9:30 and then up at 1am, 3am and then 6:40am. So I feel a little better today. Bella is being good. Eithan loves his food, he had at least 2 tspn for breakie.

Better go, I have a nice house of mess waiting for me.

    Love

AnnaT - Have you tried using a different brand test? Maybe that'll give a more definate answer...

Sharleen - Teething has stopped over here as well, tho I can see so many teeth under the gum with Xander and both his bottom and top gums are swollen. The Jolly Jumper looks like fun for little Ambah.

Helen - Yay that Eithan likes his food, what have you started him on? I'm still so new to this whole eating food thing and have no clue when to try what. You'll love the BumG nappies, Nelle got me onto the orignal ones and I've since bought the new ones and they are just soo nice. I'm going to get some more as some of my baby beehind elastics are shot and I can't be bothered fixing them.

Adele - I hope you get your car back soon. Public transport would suck with two kids in tow.

Caddie - What sort of sleeping bag do you use with Ruby? I'm looking at getting one but the growbags seem so expensive!

Maz - I hope you ate that yummy smelling man alive! you go girl.

Belle - Was great getting to chat properly to you yesterday and catch up on all that's being going on.

Shell - How was Ash last night? It's rough when they carry on like this for weeks on end... but Xander seems to be coming good again, so I truly hope that it's your turn soon too.

Nelle, Ambz, Kellxx, Jodi - Big hellos!

Well, since introducing the dummy and the small amount of rice cereal... Xander is like a new bubba. He's still waking about 3 times a night, but he is settling much better (and will even sometimes go to sleep without comfort feeding). I've managed to get rid of all the comfort feeds during the day too which I'm pretty stoked about... he still wants them, but I can now divert his boobie focussed mind onto something else (dummy, playtime etc) so now he is feeding 3 hourly during the day which for me is absolute bliss. Basically, I've put him on a bit of a loose routine and it's working for us and I'm staying a bit more sane too. Oh and I think I've figured out the cause of his reflux.. all the comfort feeds were putting too much milk in his tummy! Since I've stopped them, the shockign reflux has improved outta sight!

AnnaT- Maybe you O'd just recently thats why line so faint, could still be quite early cause if you've not had a proper cycles yet you may not know exactly when you O'd. try again in few days or maybe get blood test done?

Adele- God Simon is making me feel angry. I think i would have picked up the toys and thrown them at his head! Tell him next time you'll go out and he can stay home and pick up toys!

Jodi- How did the rest of your night go? Did nina sleep long periods? Hope you were able to get some sleep. maybe you should start co-sleeping for awhile and see how she goes? Ash cries even if i lie with her, she just likes to be held upright so she can look around! At least I'm greatful she sleeps pretty well at night.

Helen.p- Glad to hear Eithan i sleeping better for you.

*Belle*- i should try that, using the sleeping bag for her day sleeps also, we've only been using at night. Might help.

Well Df upset me last night. Made a comment that her screaming before all her naps is no big deal and that there are worse things in the world! Easy for him to say when hes not dealing with her full on screaming til she is sick!

ETA: Wow thats fantastic Anna, glad to hear things are getting better for you. I'm trying to cut out all the comfort feeds to. i just let her chew on her dummy to try distract her.

Shell-Grrr at your DH. Obviously does he think he can do better! I think you are doing a great job, you are allowed to stress about her screaming, you just need some support from him. It's a hard job and I'm like you, I dont like Eithan screaming. Plus all of this for weeks on end is bound to get to you. Chin up hun.

Anna-just running to fridge to check baby food. Heinz pureed apple and mango. I just warm it a bit in the microwave so that it is room temp (5secs) and he loves it. Now he is going longer between feeds aswell. I think that he is also getting more in his stomach because of this making him more settled. Yep Eithan's reflux has basically stopped now that he isnt feeding so much. It reared it's ugly head from all the feeding, but now that I am managing to get at least 2 1/2 to 3hrs out of him it has stopped, now I just get the normal sicky from him. How many BumG do you think I should get?

Sharleen-Thanks, I know that Eithan will get there eventually and thinking back now, Bella wasnt a leg baby(you know the bouncing constantly when holding), but she did walk at 10 1/2 to 11 mths. Hope those teeth show soon. Wow he got 6 in a weekend!

    Better go Eithan is crabby.

OH Shell hon. I wish I could give you the biggest bear hug, butt kicking time by the sound of DF. Its very easy for them really isn't it, they go to work and we stay here, 24-7 having the bad times. Im thinking of you.
Anna - So happy Xander is finding a new routine other than mummies bb's. You must be feeling so much better in yourself. Well done mate
Sharleen - I cant get over how much Ambah has changed. She looks like a toddler almost in the jolly. WOW!
Helen - so happy to hear things are starting to pan out a bit better. Positive thinking helps heaps. Wat to go
Jodi - I hope that Nina was better for you last night.
Belle - im thinking about making some sleeping bags out of muslim cloth cause of the heat. Hmm might have to make you girls my guiny pigs.
Kell - did you get any scrapping done? I failed off course. I really need to do some desperately. Oh cr@p will defently look for that american seller fo ryou.
Caddie - how are the girls today? I tried to put some of Vy's stuff on ebay but I couldnt do it, Ive packed it all away for the next one.
Adele - hope that you and simon are better today.
Nelle - how are those wipes coming along? im still waiting for my material to make some covers.
well it looks like game on. jed has started looking for a 7 seater car thats affordable to buy and we have been discussing girl names.
AnnaT - your so lucky to be pg already. Id love to be but $$$$ is making us wait until end of the year. We want to pay a $hit load of our bills and try to be ahead for a change and I want my own toilet by then too.
Yes girls, we tangoed last night. WOo hoo and im not on the pill anymore. My head aches have settled but we're taking other precautions until end of year. I really hate plastic! but atleast I dont get the mess heheheheh
    ok better go do something

Maz - As you can sew, you should find a sleep-safe pattern and make sleeping bags and sell them. I'll be your first customer! You are right, I am feeling so much better in myself now I've found other ways to comfort Xander... I just wish I had the years of experience that some of you girls here have. I feel like such a hopeless dill with this kid sometimes (ETA make that most of the time!).

Shell - Sending a virtual smack upside the head to your DH.. that was so unfair to you to make that comment to you. I hate Xander screaming as well and will do all I can to stop it. For me, the screaming for hours on end for no real reason was part of Xanders' four month growth spurt, he seems to have stopped it now. I wonder if babies get growing pains?

Helen - So Eithans' reflux was made worse with extra feedings too? Apple and Mango sounds yum... I might start being a little bit more brave and give Xander some pureed pears tomorrow and the rice cereal is going well. As to the Bum G's, maybe buy one or two and see if you like them first? If you do, then get a discounted bulk pack. Personally I wouldn't use them overnight, I use the Bamboo Beehinds and I reckon they could hold a lake's worth of wee!

Hey Shellbell, you poor thing. My DH says similar things to me sometimes, after Jesse had those needles, i said but he could get a rash and get sick or whatever(before i knew it was ok for him to have them) and his response is always "he'll be right".. i was like no! How the poor thing now will cry again now when has to have more needles and will be poopy all next week too, he said "he'll be right".. But its not them who have to comfort the lil buggers. So i do understand how frustraiting it can be to hear that Shell.
I just had a look at Ash's website (i never realised the photos, blog and links down the side before so havent ever seen her photos).. OMG Shell, she is an absolute doll! She is so beautiful! Jesse does that drop lip thing too.. its that last 2 seconds you have to rectify the cry!

Helen.. i know! He said it when someone was coming over and i was cleaning up Jesse's toys and the bath stuff etc.. I like things to still be neat but we dont bother packing things away.

Anna*.. Hi Thats great Xander's taken to the food and his reflux is much better! Must make a big difference! How many feeds (cerial) do you give him a day?

Maz.. Ive got bits and pieces done.. but have been working on the same thing for the past 4 days as i keep having interuptions! Think i may sit up tonight once the Jessman is asleep and do some.. hopefully he'll head to the land of nod soon so i can make a start. Whenever you have time is fine. Ive bought a few from a US seller too in the past and just got a few more from her "coleandcarsonsmom". She has some good ones in her clearance section for between US$1.49 - $1.99 (au$1.88 - $2.50). And theyre actually really nice and a nice big size too.
Woohoo for tangoing!!! I hate the pill, but i think i hate plastic/rubber more.

Thanks girls, after Df was around this morn when we spent 30mins with her full on screaming he apologised and said it is annoying isn't it. I said its more upsetting then annoying but imagine doing this everyday for every sleep, so he's sorry. Luckily, i told him he's lucky cause I was gonna pack my bags and leave and take our new washing machine! Lol!

Kellxx- men are funny aren't they, Df says the same after Ashleigh's needles but I'm always cuddling her. jesse been okay since given the wrong ones? No effects? Does he still have to have the MMR at 12 months even though he got it now?
Oh and thanks bout the pics, i think shes a doll too!

Anna**- i reakon they can get growing pains, a good friend of mine remembers as a child everytime she went thru a growth spurt she got pains, so babies prolly same, except they can't tell us.

maz- Now don't go poking holes in those plastics to get a little bub earlier! I hate them too, I haven't really thought much on the contraceptive front, pull out method with breast feeding may do it for me. Well i guess at the moment the abstinence is doing the trick!

Helen.p- I think the screaming doesn't upset Df as much as i get upset by it, I always feel like I've failed her when she gets upset, i know its silly but the thought always creeps into my head!

It feels like a yuk sticky day today but at least the weather forcast after today is all under 30 degrees! yay.

Shell - PMSL at holes in. NO WAY as clucky as I am, I can wait. Fantastic plastic my @rse. I find they are hurting which really doesnt help. You'll pee yourself cause I told Jed just to have his way whilst I just layed there, I was just to hot. I couldnt stop laughing and kept telling him 'NO TOUCHY'
Anna - Ive had 3 kids yeah but I feel totally usless at the best of times. I have forgotten so much and yourve actually helped me out a bit, re organic farex which I just bought and that tommee food thing that lives in Vy's mouth. I thank you for all your help hon, all of you other girls to. Ive sat here and cried my eyes out and thought what do I do and get on here and totally forget what I was crying about in the first place. PMSL ah its my blond regrowth coming through.
Caddie - glad you got the lay out, you'll have to show me what yours looks like when its finished .
Im going to have a go at this bag thingo but have decided I'lls tart with summer ones had from muslin cloth. Jed thinks its a good idea cause we just cant find any out there in cool light weight material cheap enough.
OH Anna - mix a little of the pureed pears up into the farex, it makes it smoother and they just love the taste.
Kell - im such a slack @rse, ive got a table full of stuff to do and I just cant be bothered. I have to finish the LO of my kids hands
ok im gonig cause ive got sweat coming out of places I forgot I had

Last night was better than I thought it would be. She woke up only twice, both times for a feed, then back to sleep. Heath's home today so he got up with her this morning and I got to sleep in till 8

helenp - thanks re: her name. Heath thought of it when I found out I was pg. It was either Nina or Ambah. If we have another girl it'll be Ambah.

sharleen - Ambah does look cute in her jolly jumper. We have a walker for Nina and she starting to walk back and frontwards in it. She loves it. I haven't tried her in a jolly jumper. A girlfriend has one for her son and I was gonna put Nina in it yesterday, but forgot.

annat - I reckon you should get a blood test too to put your mind at ease.

shell - glad your DH got to see just how fustrating it is to have a baby crying. Hope you're having a better day today.

anna** - Nina is better now that I'm dragging out the feeds too. Every 3-3.5 hours during the day, and roughly every 4 hours during the night. I've stopped the solids for now and she seems more content. They may have been too heavy for her. We'll start up again in a couple of weeks.

adele, maz, kel, caddie, nelle I've read your posts but gotta put Nina down for a nap bbl

The test I did this morning was a different brand and another faint line came up within 2 min. So I guess its def a BFP Im starting to feel it too ........... ripper of a headache again. AF still hasnt shown either, not in any way shape or form so Im going to accept that the tests are telling the truth. Ok so Im going to buy a digital this arvo to double check lol

Im thinking Im due in Oct more than Sept but will probably be induced again so Ryan can be there (he only gets ONE day off for it so it needs to be planned, Jett needs a babysitter too) Im thinking between Sept 30th and Oct 2nd but we'll see when the OB agrees too. Im going for a b/t and ultrasound this week and off to my OB when I can get an appointment.

My sister is super excited as is my friend who is due in August. Im not telling my mother until I have to which is probably when its born as I dont want to hear her negativity and nastiness about my "being so stupid". Going to tell Ryans parent tonight and Im betting theyll be happy and plan to come over for the birth.

AnnaT- Wow its pretty exciting. I couldn't even imagine at the moment having another! Its nice having a close sibling though. I'm one of four and mum had us in under 5 years. We loved all being close together.

Jodi- happy 5 months Nina! So quick all this time flying by.

maz- God no way would i be DTD in this heat. i think I'd lay there too and maybe have a nap and tell him to wake me when he's done! Lol!

We've had an alright day today here (touch wood). We put her in her cot for sleeps and did contrl comfort type thing, just went in when she was really really upset, calmed her without picking her up and then leave as soon as she was calm. Took 30mins for her to fall asleep but she slept for 1 hour 40mins which is very long for her. Shes down again now without probs cause we were out so she fell asleep in car on way home. Maybe i should drive around the block whenever its sleep time!

Shellbell.. that is so good! I know my sister would take my nephew for a drive on those odd occasions he wouldnt settle.. might be a good last resort.

Maz.. i did a little scrapping before wooo! Jesse was on the floor in front of the telly while i was at the table.. when i got up and went over to him.. he had rolled over and puked all over his mat and then had rubbed his face in it so had milk puke all over his face! I wish i had taken a photo now!

It is a scorcher here today!! Just went out and got Jess some formula as i didnt realise there wasnt a spare in the cupboard and almost melted away!
