    Second!

We've had pretty good night, Ash went down no probs and only woke twice overnight! Yay, and has just gone down for nap without screaming house down, maybe things have turned a corner?

Jodi- You should try reading No cry sleep solution by Elizabeth Pantley, I just got from library but I think it would suit you cause its mainly for babies who constantly awake at night and want comfort feeds to help get back to sleep, maybe check it out? Has a way to get bubs not to depend on the breast as a sleep association.

Ambz- I love all those display homes too, always look so nice and big. We're gonna buy later this year building is too much of a hassle though but i do like to get ideas of what I want in my house.

Caddie- Congrats on weight loss. Yay for you! How did the kids go for you overnight?

Nelle- Its funny I've never been bothered by living in messy place (you should have seen my place when I lived alone!) but since having Ash suddenly it annoys me. I try to get out often so I don't have to look at it cause i find if I'm around home for hours it bothers me more. Maybe just sit down with rans and tell him this is how your feeling and that you need him to help you out more without having to nag him.

Maz - Thanks for the chat yesterday!

Caddie - Woo hoo on the weight loss. Naughty DH for putting shaving hairs around the place.

Jodi - I just dunno what is going on with these babies atm. Xander just gets soooo tired, yet just wont sleep. The second i put him down, he wakes and cries... all he wants is to be held. He didn't go to sleep until 9pm last night either, and then woke and wouldn't resettle at 2am. Finally got him off at 3.30am, only for him to wake at 6. So I'm totally stuffed. He's not hungry either so it's something else waking him, but he doesn't look like he is in pain at all.

Ambz - I know that cute sound... it's adorable! Actually, lately I feel as though any sound from a baby that is babbling and not crying is a great sound. Just wait till the high pitched squealing noise starts!

RIkki - Was great catching up with you yesterday, hope you liked that cake topper. I still can't believe I forgot the bloody cake board .

You should've seen Ainsleigh and Xander together yesterday, they were just staring at each other in curiosity. Then the big smiles started - till Xander decided it would be a great idea to poke Ainsleigh in the eye. Little bully. I took some photos on my mobile phone, but can't find the computer cable to download them... Rikki has some on the digi camera that I hope turned out ok.

well this is the closest i've been to first. i know how you feel nelle... though sam would never get up and get himself something without offering to get me something too. that would actually upset me.... as for the housework, i feel the same way. i try to keep on top of it, but sometimes i just can't. i was thinking yesterday that though i can usually tidy the house with ainsleigh, i can't clean it properly, so i might just focus on one room a day to really clean. we'll see if it works.

can't remember what anyone else said!!!! oh yeah, caddie, ainsleigh has been shocking for her night sleeps too. as soon as you put her in the cot she screams blue murder (i'm surprised you can't hear her in rocky!!) i'm fairly sure it's behavioural... so last night i left her for ten went back in and settled her, left her for five and by the time five mins came she was fast asleep. i don't have the problem (fingers crossed) of her then waking again... she is out for the night. hope you have some success with ruby... and it's so cute when they giggle, isn't it!!!

i'll download those photos now anna, while ains is happy playing!

have a good day girls, i'm off to mother's group picnic. thank goodness i realised that in my mind i was going somewhere totally different to where the picnic is or ainsleigh and i might have been picnicing alone!!!

Does anyone have this problem: Nina keeps putting her fist in her mouth, so far down her throat that she throws up!!
I just put her down for a nap so hopefully she'll have over an hour's sleep.
Xander, Ruby and Nina must have been in it together. At least Ashleigh is being a good girl and is sleeping.
Maz if your toe wasn't broken I'd be sending Nina your way!

ETA: shell, thanks for the recommendation on that book, I'll look into it.

Jodi- Ash does that too. i keep telling her not too (not tha she can understand!) spec after a feed. Don't want all that milk wasted!

Rikki- Ash was doing that for all her day sleeps and both my GP and MCHN said it was behavioural cause as soon as I picked her up she'd stop screaming. I tried everything rocking the cot, patting her etc and they recommended just letting her cry a couple mins, then go in and comfort her and I found she settles so much better if she's left to herself then me being there.

Anna- Its funny how much bubs love other bubs. All the babies in our mothers group just love each other.

    good morning girls,

had a really bad night last night with both kids. akira has gotten growing pain really bad this time round i gotta get her to the drs to have her checked out.

and riley is starting to cut a tooth by the looks. so he was screaming the house down.

simon stayed up till 12.30am as he had to be up a 5.30am but that didnt happen i was in there waking him at 4am saying i need sleep. i finally got some sleep at 6am and then they both woke up at 9 so only 3hrs for me.

    enough about me.

jodi- yes i have that problem. riley has started doing that it drives me insane lol.

shellbell- glad u had a better night.

anna- it sounds like im having your problen with riley crying everytime i put him in his cot if he has fallen sleep.

caddie well done on your weight loss. i loss 0.7 so that a total of 4.7 so far. getting the slowly.

well im off to try and sort these kids out for today.

Ohh Adele hope you get a good sleep tonight!

Have fun at your picnic Rikki!

Shell, that's great that Ash slept well last night! I know what you mean about getting out, and I think that's why the mess bothers me so much! Because I spend much more time at home than I ever used to!

Maz, here's a big awwwwwwwww about your tootsy toe if you needed sympathy. Looks bruised to me mate. At least it's not chopped off - apparently the little toe is pretty important for balance!

Anyway, this is my customary after-feed post, so I've got a little boy wriggling on my lap who is breathing like Darth Vader! Cos he caught my cold. Whoops. Better go change his nappy. xo

ETA: That's a great pic of Xander and Ainsleigh Anna! They both look somewhat stunned! It's so awsome to see pics of our babies together! We've been through so much together haven't we.

    What's the Elmo kel?

I think Nina may have an earache or ear infection. She's super grizzly today and has been rubbing her ears a lot. Tried to get into 2 doctors which I know and they're both totally booked out. What do you reckon I should do? The medical centre here is always booked out too and with a walk-in we won't be seen till Monday!

jodi - it oculd be nina's teeth to mate. kids often get sore ears when their teeth come through. ring you MCHN and ask her.
Nelle - Ive just seen some BP with embroidery on them...might have to invest.
Hello to everyone else IM sorry yet agian for lack of personalls but Vy got up through the night and DHead Jed gave her a bottle so now she's totally out of wack and screaming my house down. I wish I could take her for a walk or drive.

Jodi.. its an elmo that you program (via your computer) your child's name, family names, birthday (counts down to their birthday), their favourite foods, drinks etc and heaps of other stuff, and elmo says it all. I just got it out of the box and before ive programmed it when you push his tummy he says Elmo loves you and laughs, had Jesse in hysterics! He absolutely loves his other elmos so thats why i wanted to get it.. was half price from $90!
Aww hope shes ok.. is it true rubbing or pulling their ears can also mean teething? Id try and get to a doctor but if its a while wait maybe give her some panadol if she's super grizzley and in pain? Will help her feel a little better for the time being.

Rach.. aww poor Jack.. yeh id say its from the needles.. panadol will help him hopefully poor lil pumpkin.

Maz.. what a sweet lil photo of Vy!!!

Back to cleaning now the lil guys zonked.

Scott said yes to having another.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttt... he wants them as close together as possible, if it doesn't happen within a 2 year time frame; he wants to stop trying.
